The practical Aquaboss hammock…
The Aquaboss water hammock is very practical and in that sense is excellent — seems duarable and mould resistant. However, it also is not the most comfortable because of this — it isn’t soft and feels a bit rough.

Love the Acquaboss cover
This cover is terrific - great colour, love the mat that comes with it and so easy to put up and down. We use it at the beach but the extra accessories for campers give it a dual purpose. Would recommend to anyone who spends time at the beach or goes camping.

Do not recommend buying the ‘island’.
We bought the ‘island’ as a Christmas gift, it completely split in the net when we used it. Didn’t even last a week. I contacted aqua boss who offered me a discount to purchase a second one instead- absolutely no way I would purchase from this company. Terrible customer service and poor quality

From our records, your order was purchased around 2.5 months after purchase. We completely understand how frustrating it is when something doesn’t hold up the way you expect and we’re disappointed too, as we pride ourselves on premium quality and customer support.
To provide transparency: the centre mesh on our Island is a high-grade Australian shade cloth style mesh, designed for heavy outdoor use. In the rare cases we see a tear occur through the middle of the mesh and is similar to this (rather than along a seam), it is most commonly caused by contact with a sharp or abrasive object. This can happen without anyone noticing at the time a small nick can quickly become a larger split once weight is applied. Common examples we’ve seen around pools and backyards include pet claws, sharp edges on children’s toys or accessories.
When you first contacted us, we reviewed the photo and also checked with both our factory and mesh supplier. The tear pattern did not resemble a manufacturing fault (which would typically present as separation at the heat-sealed seam). That said, we still offered a goodwill option to help you get back on the water quickly, however we understand you didn’t feel comfortable taking that up.
We’re truly sorry you and your family were left disappointed. If you’d like us to review this again, please contact our support team directly and we’ll do everything we can to assist.

Sorry you haven’t received your ACQUABOSS order on time, we know how frustrating that is.
December and January have been particularly difficult because one of our freight forwarders unexpectedly closed, impacting hundreds of small businesses across Australia. Unfortunately it resulted in delayed parcels, lost merchandise, and left a number of customers (and us) disappointed whilst costing us thousands of dollars.
We’ve since replaced affected shipments, and where needed fast-tracked orders to get them delivered as quickly as possible.

Bought a range of products for Bali trip and super impressed by the customer service. as my partner wanted to add couple of additional products, we created two orders, only to be refunded for both the deliveries as combined they met the free delivery value, also received as one parcel and had someone call us to confirm it was ok to do so. then we went to Bali with amazing water hammocks and blue tooth speaker and everyone loved our pool party atmosphere based on ACQUABOSS product range. love this brand.

BUY THE CHEAPER VERSION FROM COSTCO
Don't let the ones with metal zippers go anywhere near salt water and also buy the cheaper version from Costco that has a plastic zipper.
Don't rely on rinsing them off and drying them in the sun after use to protect the metal zipper either.
And don't rely on any sort of support from them when they corrode in less than 12 months.

To clarify a few important points for other shoppers reading this: the product in question was used for around 12 months before this issue was raised, and our review of the photos and information provided indicated the corrosion was consistent with environmental exposure, not a manufacturing fault. In this case, the lounger was used in a sulphur/mineral-based pool, which is known to accelerate corrosion on many metals and materials (including some zippers and hardware).
As with most pool and beach products (including products sold by major retailers), rinsing with fresh water after salt/mineral exposure and allowing it to dry properly is an important part of care to maximise longevity especially where water chemistry is more aggressive than standard chlorine pools.
We also want to be transparent that we previously offered different zipper styles and choices base don customers requests, and we’ve since moved to a single zipper specification to reduce confusion and improve consistency.
For completeness, the customer raised this matter with the ACCC and we fully cooperated by providing the relevant emails, photos, and product information. The outcome of that review aligned with our assessment that the issue related to usage conditions and care, rather than a product fault.
We genuinely tried to find a fair outcome and offered a replacement at below cost price as a goodwill solution, however this was declined.

We bought their very expensive ($495) deluxe inflatable pool lounge and only used it for one summer. Cleaned it and stored it away.
We go to use it again this season and discover the metal zipper had corroded and broke off, rendering the whole product useless because you can't inflate it.
I reached out to them and asked for a replacement cover under warranty. They essentially blamed me because we have a salt water pool and accused me of misusing the product. Nowhere on their website or instructions does it say that they product is not to be used in salt water pools. They said they would send out a replacement cover for $200!!!
I found a complete version was for sale at Costco for $99 and the Costco version actually has a plastic. I pointed this out to the representative. They rudely insisted I misused the product and it was my fault the zipper broke and claimed the product was fine to use. You can't use it if you can't inflate it!! They insisted $200 for a replacement cover was a fair offer.
This product is not fit for purpose as obviously it's not meant to be used in a pool or on the beach. Their customer service is non existent and I would not recommend buying anything from them at all, especially for the exorbitant prices they charge for alleged quality products. Avoid this expensive product at all cost.
I'd give zero stars if I could.

For transparency to other shoppers reading this: this is the same household/customer case as a previous review by Melissa B
regarding the same deluxe inflatable lounge and zipper corrosion issue, and our team provided the same support and assessment across both communications.
As outlined previously, the item was reported after being used for approximately one summer / around 12 months, and the corrosion shown in the photos was consistent with environmental exposure rather than a manufacturing defect. In this case, the product was used in a salt/mineral (including sulphur/mineral-type) pool environment, which can accelerate corrosion across many metals and materials (including zipper components and hardware).
We also want to clarify that our guidance was not “blaming” the customer it was explaining that pool chemistry and exposure conditions matter, and that, like most pool/beach equipment, the product requires fresh-water rinsing after use and proper drying/storage to maximise longevity, particularly where water chemistry is more aggressive.
This matter was also raised with the ACCC, and we fully cooperated by providing the relevant emails, photos, and product information. The outcome aligned with our assessment that the issue related to usage conditions and care, not a product fault.
Despite that, we still offered a replacement cover at below cost price as a goodwill option to help get the product back in use. This offer was declined.

Disappointing so very upset.

Have discovered that the blow up insert for the legs leaks, the seam is not correctly sealed.
I purchased 2 aqua boss pride mats, last year in readiness for Christmas & summer break.
I contacted Aqua Boss in the first business week of January 2024, I spoke with a staffer who seem knowledgeable & promised to send to my Australia address a replacement. It is now the end of January & I have not yet received the replacement.
I am now not able to take the mat on my OS break.

At ACQUABOSS, if a new product arrives with a fault, we aim to replace it within 24 hours once details are confirmed. Occasionally, delays can occur due to stock availability, courier transit times, and public holidays but we agree that being left waiting until the end of January is not acceptable.
We’ve sell thousands of products and our manufacturing fault rate is below 0.5%. While rare issues can occur, we take full responsibility when they do and we will make it right.
