Ordered a jacket that wasn't in stock. I was contacted straight away and offered some alternatives which I didn't take up as the colour I chose was the one I wanted.

A little disappointed but they informed me the jacket was due on their next drop and gave me a voucher!

Looking forward to receiving the jacket!!

I can honestly say this is a great company that puts it's customers first. I placed an order and 10 days later I had not even received an email saying it had been dispatched. I called up to see what was going on and the customer service was excellent, very friendly and helpful, and they said that any orders that are overdue on delivery will be sent first class. I will be using Above and Beyond again.

EDIT:
I left last review as soon as I had hung up the phone from customer service, who said that my "product had just come in with new stock so it will be sent out the next day." I waited, and waited. Still nothing so a week later I rang again, this time customer service told me "your order was sent out yesterday via first class post". That was nearly a week ago and still nothing. It has been over 3 weeks since I placed my order and I have had no communication from the company. Really not happy with the service and my experience with Above & Beyond, therefore I retract my original statement, I will not be recommending this company to anyone else, particularly if they need something in a rush.

Very unhelpful CS, who think that customers should read through their entire terms and conditions before ordering. Beware! Here's an excerpt that apparently I should have spotted. Time line: Order placed 17th August 2017. Money taken 17th August 2017. Date today 29th August 2017. 2 emails & 4 non-answered phone calls later with nothing delivered, no answers to email....nothing, zip, zero. I'd be alittle more understanding if someone could be arsed to apologise maybe with an explanation...but no.....nothing. Lucky I bought on credit card, have to report this and get money back. Watch out people the communication thing is seriously lacking with this company.

This company is a joke.
My first contact date: 1Jun
My order date (after long long wait for shipping quotation): 14Jun
My wire transfer payment date: 15Jun
My order cancellation date (because they were not going to be able to deliver on commit dates): 23Jun
Today: 17 AUGUST
And I'm still waiting for my refund.
It seems they won't be paying.

During those almost 3 months, they never hesitate to take their time to answer. They replied to my emails whenever they felt like it. But when it is about the payment they will receive, they reply right away. If you ask something about your order or refund, they are either on vacation or abroad for an outdoor exhibition.

They accepted to refund via bank transfer, asked for the required info one by one so that they can take more time, then they cancelled because of extra charges caused by the bank they work with. They asked me to create a PayPal account, I explained that I had security issues with PayPal and I don't want to create an account but it was obvious that they will remain unprofessional so I created one and provided them with the info needed. I was promised to be refunded right away but since then I'm still waiting and sending them emails everyday. No reply yet.

Let us see if they manage to do it tomorrow. If not, I will make sure to start a legal process and make sure this is heard in the online outdoor communities.

Great range of products and good prices, with a lot of promotional deals. We ordered a backpack for our daughter. There was a minor hiccup with delivery time, but the customer services team sorted it out quickly and professionally. I'd be happy to buy more goods online from them, safe in the knowledge that if there are any problems they will sort them out quickly and efficiently. Our goods arrived well packed and my daughter is delighted. Highly recommended.

Ordered a bag and after a few days it hadn't arrived. I made a quick call to the contact centre and was told they hadn't received it from the supplier yet. Would have been perfect if I'd have received an email earlier, but was helped out by the team with delivery, so totally satisfied with the service.

I needed to get my knife sharpener delivered before I went on holiday. Had a minor delivery issue but the team literally went above and beyond (if you'll excuse the use of the phrase) to ensure it arrived on time.
Polite, intelligent and efficient communication. Would have left a six star review if the rating didn't only go to five.

Ordered a product online. Rang 8 days later to see where it was, only to be told the product wasn't available. No apology made from Above and Beyond. They said they had emailed customers to inform them the product had become unavailable, but there was nothing in any junk / deleted folders from them. They cleary weren't bothered I had been messed around & that they weren't completing their side of the order.

I found a product for less elsewhere and with one phone call Jen at Above & Beyond was happy to match the price. Not only that, but she arranged next day delivery for me despite the product normally having a 1-2 day dispatch time! Brilliant service, I can't recommend them enough.

Above and beyond are not a company I would recommend. Their communication to their customers and suppliers is very hit and miss . I ordered a falljraven rucksack. Which although arrived on time ,was a different colour to the one ordered...three weeks later after many emails, I've still not received my rucksack. Apparently the correct item is in holand.?. I live in the U.K. ! . Also if they send you an incorrect order over £50 . you have to pay to return it . Will not be shopping with above and beyond in the future.

Best prices on OS maps on the web. I have made multiple previous orders. However, very slow to dispatch, taking 4 full working days to get map in the post on the last occasion. The postage was royal mail 1st class, so arrived with me next day (so one full week after ordering), but really, why so long?

Having seen a jacket I liked at a good price, I was drawn to attempt a purchase from this site using money off codes for that month or through signing up to their newsletter. Neither worked for this purchase even through they were advertised on the page from which the item was purchased. That was mildly annoying.

However the major issue I encountered was this website accepting three payments for this item. Yes I only got one item but paid three times the price due to fundamental problems with this websites payment facilities. Most concerning was that I received no notification of this expenditure from the company at all. I only found out when checking my credit card bill - and it still took a week for the funds to be returned with barely an apology for my trouble. I do wonder if they would ever have contacted me to return the money that had been effectively stolen from me.

That said the product is good as was the price I paid, but worth being careful with online purchases

Experienced great customer service, and prompt replies to all of my emailed queries. I ordered a Kanken backpack at it arrived within three days. I would highly recommend this company :-)
