Unfortunately, my experience with 77 Diamonds has been extremely disappointing, especially considering the importance and value of the purchase.

The ring was delayed, which completely disrupted the plans I had made for my proposal. When you order an engagement ring for such an important moment, delivery timing matters enormously, and because of the delay I had to change my plans and arrange another occasion.

To make matters worse, when the ring finally arrived, the size was significantly different from the size that had been communicated. This was not a tiny adjustment or a matter of personal preference – the difference was substantial enough that the ring simply did not fit properly.

What disappointed me most was the after-sales experience. After already dealing with the delayed delivery and an incorrectly sized ring, I expected 77 Diamonds to take responsibility and make the correction as easy as possible. Instead, I was left dealing with the inconvenience of arranging the ring to be sent back and the associated logistics.

For a company selling engagement rings and premium jewellery, customer service should reflect the emotional importance of what they are selling. A proposal is not an ordinary online purchase that can simply be postponed without consequence.

The ring itself may be beautiful, but the overall experience – delay, incorrect sizing, disrupted proposal plans and the hassle involved in getting the issue corrected – completely overshadowed it.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend 77 Diamonds. For such an important purchase, I expected much better reliability, accuracy and after-sales support.

Cecilia Rotar was an absolutely massive help. I had an incredibly short window to get a ring customised, but she was somehow able to get it sorted and an appointment booked in for collection right before the deadline.

I ordered a solitaire ring with a 2-carat diamond, and the service was both fast and extremely efficient. The ring needed to be resized and polished, which was done very quickly, and despite a very tight schedule, it arrived right on time thanks to express shipping.

This is now our 5th ring purchase from 77Diamonds London and again we are very impressed with the quality of craftsmanship, materials and stones used in all of the rings. The wedding band ring width of 2mm may appear too small for some, but when worn with an engagement and eternity ring, works very well especially on smaller sized fingers. The customer service has always been excellent and I would like to mention Cecilia Rotar for her support and updating me to ensure that my order was fast tracked to ensure my wife received the ring before her birthday. The only disappointing part of the entire experience was the delivery handled by DHL. Although the shipment was fully insured and required a signature upon delivery, I was never contacted by the courier, no signature was requested, and the package was simply left in the goods reception area at my workplace, placed on top of some boxes in the warehouse without informing either me or the staff responsible for receiving deliveries. The only notification I received was an email confirming delivery, and there wasn't even a photo showing where the package had been left. Considering the value of the item and the shipping conditions, this was far below the level of service I expected from DHL.

That being said, this issue in no way reflects on 77 Diamonds. Their service, communication, craftsmanship, and customer care were exemplary. I highly recommend 77 Diamonds to anyone looking for a high-quality, bespoke piece of jewellery, and I would especially recommend working with Cecilia, who made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable from start to finish.

I am currently planning a proposal to my girlfriend and approached 77 Diamonds with highly specific requirements for a natural round brilliant diamond—down to the exact crown/pavilion angles and table percentages. As a first-time buyer, I was anxious about purchasing a stone sight unseen and really wanted to inspect it under magnification before committing to a setting. 

Cecilia Rotar was absolutely phenomenal in helping me navigate this. They were incredibly patient with my questions regarding clarity characteristics and 360-degree videos. Furthermore, when the online system quoted a delivery date of late August/early September—which would have severely rushed my early September proposal plans—Cecilia immediately stepped in. 

They guided me through purchasing just the loose stone online, manually intercepted the order to change it to a London showroom collection, and expedited the shipping so the diamond would arrive by August 14th! They then seamlessly booked a back-to-back appointment for me to collect the stone and look at solitaire settings in person on the same day. 

Cecilia provided outstanding, flexible, and stress-free customer support. I highly recommend asking for them if you want a truly personalized experience!

We came back to 77 Diamonds for an eternity ring following a very positive experience when purchasing our engagement and wedding rings eleven years ago. It was important to us that we kept the link going and couldn't contemplate going anywhere else to create our 10 year anniversary eternity ring. We have not been disappointed. We have been able to work with the team to create a bespoke sapphire and diamond ring which complements the others. We have been to the London showroom twice; initially to choose the sapphire and then again to finalise the design with Alex. Then latterly enjoyed detailed communication with Joanna to finalise the design and place the order. We then waited a reasonable period for the ring to be completed and dispatched. We could not be more happy - the ring is exactly what we wanted and just beautiful! Thankyou 77 Diamonds for once again offering a first class service where nothing was too much trouble. Now all I need is another excuse for another purchase- does a 15 year anniversary count in 5 years ?! We'll be back ! A &N
