Talked the talk but never walked the walk. Really couldn’t care less except for taking their fee. Dreadful company. Avoid

I’m a director of a block of flats in Bournemouth. We’ve had a few agents over the years, but Woodley & Associates have been by far the best. They actually keep us updated, deal with things properly, and genuinely care about the building.

I live in a new-build block in Bournemouth and, as you’d expect, there were a few problems once the developer’s warranty ran out. Woodleys have been great since stepping in. Very knowledgeable, organised, and quick to get things under control.

They’ve made a real difference to how smoothly everything runs and it’s reassuring to know the block is in capable hands.

I’m a leaseholder in a block of 20 flats in Poole and the difference since Woodley & Associates took over has been night and day. During the handover from our previous managing agent, they were really helpful and kept us updated throughout.

We later found out a number of important reports for insurance and fire safety hadn’t been done before, but Woodley & Associates sorted everything quickly. It’s such a relief knowing the building is now fully compliant and properly managed.

A big thank you to the team. It’s great to finally feel confident our block is in safe hands.

If permitted, I would not award even a single star based on my experience with Mr Julius Tuersley, the block manager assigned to our building.

Mr Tuersley’s conduct in both verbal and written communications has been consistently unprofessional and discourteous. He has demonstrated a rude, aggressive, and dismissive attitude — frequently interrupting, speaking over others, and refusing to listen. On several occasions, he has abruptly terminated calls, which is wholly inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour for a property management professional.

He exhibits poor listening and communication skills and appears not to review or act promptly upon important correspondence requiring immediate attention. This lack of responsiveness and attention to detail has caused unnecessary delays and adverse outcomes for leaseholders. Such neglect falls considerably below the expected standards of competence, diligence, and care owed by a managing agent.

Mr Tuersley also demonstrates limited availability and an apparent unwillingness to engage constructively with residents.

He is frequently unreachable by telephone.

Overall, his approach reflects a concerning pattern of hostility, inconsistency, and disregard for professional standards. This behaviour undermines confidence and trust not only in Mr Tuersley’s professionalism but also in the wider reputation of Woodley Associates as a managing agent.

Given the volume of similar feedback from other residents, it is difficult to reconcile these experiences with the unusually positive online reviews attributed to the company.

We found Woodley's to be approachable, listen and understand any concerns, responsive, polite and professional in their block management.

I’ve been really impressed with the service from Tom, Director and Glenda, manager at Woodley and Associates. They have been quick to respond to issues that were previously overlooked by our former management agency, showing real professionalism and care. From the start, they’ve been polite, understanding, and proactive in addressing serious matters such as asbestos concerns that the previous company ignored.Their communication has been clear and consistent, keeping us informed every step of the way. I have been impressed with the service from Woodley & Associates, particularly from the property manager, Matt who has done his best to resolve any issues.

Overall, they have been professional in their communication, and handled matters with efficiency. They have also kept residents well-informed about ongoing works and have been proactive in maintaining the building. It is reassuring to have a management company that is both reliable and cares about the residents and the property.

Having had a disastrous experience with previous management agents we changed to Woodley and Associates at the end of 2023 and have been delighted with the efficient service they provide. Matt, our property manager is pro-active, professional and communicates well. Highly recommend

I generally don’t leave reviews but I’ve been consistently impressed by the prompt and professional service provided by Matt. I’m in the process of selling my flat in a block now managed by Woodley’s, and he’s been super responsive and helpful with all my queries. Couldn’t be more different from the poor experience we suffered under previous agents. Definitely recommend.

my 80 yr old wife has a small aprtment in bournemouth managed by these cowboys, she went there from yorkshire a week ago to speak to an estate agent in order to sell it but it is on the top floor and the roof is damaged and is leaking into her property woodley have been aware of this for months now nut still have not repaired it so she cannot sell it in addition whilst there this time the lift has broken down and at 80 yrs of age she has to climb 8 flights of stairsboth her and myself have rang them and sent emails but there is no one theremy she has called the lift people who have said they have not serviced the lift for 7 years despite woodley still charging tenant sthe annual maitenance chargesmy wife intends to leave on thursday but cannot get her suitcase and bags downstairs as she does not know anyone who can help herand these people dont care

We have worked with Woodley Associates now for around 3 years. They are responsive, flexible and professional to deal with. Our most recent support contact Matt has taken the trouble to fully understand our needs and requirements and always tries to accommodate us. Would fully recommend them Woodley and Matt.

As one of the Directors at our block of flats, we have been very pleased with the great communication and effective management since Woodley have taking over.
Any request for repairs to be looked at,are promptly attended to and we are kept informed when work will begin.
In particular Matt who manages our account, is very competent and easy to talk to ,with Laura also very pleasant,and good at her job

I have been chasing them for months now to find out when the lift will be fixed in my block and i keep getting fobbed off constantly!
they keep lying saying it will be fixed yet it's been 8 months now!!!! stay well away from them!
