Dreadful experience

Preface: if WLMG ask me to email them in their response to this review, it means they haven't read it and their responses are automated. I've contacted this dealership far too many times and they know perfectly well who I am.
On the 20th of June I went there to test drive a used MG. I then paid a refundable fee of £1000 (yes, one thousand pounds) to get it reserved for me for a week. Two days later, I changed my mind about buying the car and requested a refund on the fee. I talked to their employee Eithan Auliar. He asked me to fill the refund forms, which I sent back on the 22nd of June. That was 10 days ago. I'm still due to receive the refund. I've chased them several times over email, to no avail. Phoned the dealership, and was told that "I'll go upstairs and talk to the finance people and you will get a call back from the manager on your number". Which didn't happen.
It's bizarre that I have to chase them for a refund, I've never had that experience with any other dealer. But what is even more bizarre, is that their slogan is "we always keep our promises".

Trusted WLMG South Ruislip for 19 Years But No More!
WLMG South Ruislip have been servicing my Nissan Primera for 19 Years and I trusted them 100%, but no more! Their mechanics are supposed to be Nissan Experts but they're no more than "grease monkeys", with the exception of Andy, and they're even incapable of even doing an oil change on a service properly. I checked the oil level less than 400 miles after a service and found the dip-stick dry. Added 200ml of oil, expecting to add more, but when I checked again it now showed overfull. Called the RAC because I didn't know whether they'd refilled the oil or not. RAC drained off the 200 ml that I'd added plus another 300 ml and still the dipstick showed overfull. The drained oil was BLACK less than 400 miles after the service. RAC advised to get BLACK OIL REMOVED, but for the garage to measure what came out to confirm/rule-out errors on the oil change _WLMG failed to do that, neither did they carry out an oil analysis or any diagnostics to find out what was going on. Reported issues to them to be checked TWICE, and in writing, serious issues like the Engine Warning Light which has now appeared numerous times, they still haven't diagnosed, let alone fixed the cause, tell me the car is fine and less than 40 miles later, it comes on again repeatedly! Have now discovered that they've used the wrong oil on every service, have never checked the PCV Valve even though it's failure can cause catastrophic engine damage. Had advised me to monitor oil consumption and gave me the parameters to look for, sold me the oil that they recommended I should use for topping-up, but have now discovered they they used different oil to the one they advised me to use on every service which caused a mix of viscosities every time I topped up which they should know is very bad for an engine. Also the oil they used does not match the Nissan recommended viscosity as shown in my Handbook. Have now had to source an independant expert to try and find out what they have/haven't done and if any damage has been caused. I've been trusting them for 19 Years to look after my car, but it now looks as though they've been "killing" it.

WLMG in Reading
I went into WLMG in Reading a few months ago. Harry spoke to me and I registered an interest in an MG ZS Hybrid+ Trophy. I went back a couple of weeks ago for a test drive and saw Harry again. He was very knowledgeable about the car and explained everything clearly. I decided to purchase a brand new ZS Hybrid+. He sorted everything out for me and I picked it up last weekend. Harry had all the paperwork ready when I got there. Harry showed me how everything worked in the car before we left. I’m more than pleased with my new purchase and the service I received from Harry. I’d definitely recommend going to WLMG in Reading to purchase a car.

Repairs to VW Up
Came in for some repairs to my car, Oliver booked me in at their service centre is South Ruislip, great communication and very professional, advised what extra work was needed, given a cost and now booked in again. Would definitely buy a car from them if this is the service they provide.

There were a few faults along the way…
There were a few faults along the way to buying one being we choose a colour grey they only had one and that was sold, we then selected white but they only had full petrol so we settled for Red they sent me number plates to choose one which we did and just as we were insuring the car I had to ring the dealership to clarify something and as I was onto them I double checked the number plate was right which I had chosen only to be told the car had to be registered before Tuesday to get the offer that was on so they had to pick one and put it on, so it was a good job I checked before I insured the wrong plate. We have since bought a private number plate so will be changing it. The staff were very helpful in fact the guy seeing to us CJ was most attentive and polite also the manger was very helpful and courteous. Useful reviews give your review a title there are a few thought.

What can I say, but what an outstanding service received, was a bit touch and go but AJ/Adrian couldn't do enough to get things sorted for me. This is my 3rd car with WLMG and I have been so happy with the choices given to me. I was really touched also that I am classed as FAMILY!!!

the last week Ross was the sales person who I dealt with he answered all my questions and within a week I has a brand new MG hs hybrid, Liam also sorted a few things out which saved me a few pounds

I wanted an electric MG4 so I went in since this branch is close to me. I visited on 16th Aug or just about and we talked about MG4 SE vs Trophy and I settled for Trophy, however the car was in their Reading branch, it was to be collected for me to test drive on 20th. I called in on the 19th to see if I could go a day earlier, I was told that the car had gone to someone else, fair enough, shouldn't I have been informed? We agreed I test drive the SE even though I wanted the Trophy, I did the test drive and the rep was to send me some figures on the 19th Aug, I've never got it! I've never met sales rep who are this unprofessional. What makes a sales rep think someone isn't worthy of a sale? They asked for my budget, I said I didn't have a budget, I was happy whatever way. I've now ordered a brand new MG4 Trophy Long from some other place.

I was shown the vehicle inside and out and things explained to myself.
Ash was very knowledgeable about the product he was showing me, made me and my great Nephew feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble, even after I told Ash I need to go away and think about it.
He id an asset to your company.
I came back the next day with my partner and choose the vehicle I wanted and paid the deposit.
On collection Ash was on Holiday and David looked after the handover for me and explained everything I needed to know.
