Absolutely amazing stay from start to…
Absolutely amazing stay from start to finish at Scremerston.
Peaceful, and beautiful with the added bonus of amazing home cooked food after a days walking, followed by amazing cakes and sublime breakfasts all delivered to our door.
Could’t fault a thing, We would highly recommend and we will be back.

Beautiful spot
Beautiful spot, with fantastic view of Holy Island. Great to have the use of a fire pit. Owner friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

A couple of lovely spots, it is expensive but I think worth it for a night or two to experience the quality of the locations.

Beautiful location, tranquil and peaceful
The location is beautiful, overlooking the sea and Holy Island but tucked away in a little corner of the farm. The site is quite small, only big enough for one vehicle really. I was in a micro camper (Peugeot Partner Teepee) I felt very safe and secure. I saw dolphins frolicking in the sea from my bed. I met the farmer and we had a lovely chat as I was out walking. He said I could call him if I needed anything. I couldn’t locate the footpath to the beach, I don’t think this exists any more. The site had very easy access to surrounding areas such as Holy Island and Berwick. I would use the site again at £25 per night just because it’s so lovely and secure there but for one person it would be too expensive at £50 per night for me.

Scremerston Town Farm
Good service from the website. Lovely view from Scremerston Town Farm but very awkward to access beach. We had to drive to it. I knew there were no amenities but would never pay the full price (£50pn) for the privilege of solitude.

What an incredibly relaxing weekend
What an incredibly relaxing way to spend a weekend. With the luxury of being close to nature with the only sounds to disturb us, birdsong and the babbling river Till. The land owner was extremely welcoming offering us a choice of several locations to park our van. Don’t expect high speed 4G connectivity, but do expect the opportunity to explore some of the hidden gems of Northumberland with excellent walks along the river as far as the Tweed and beyond.
