Met Gurminder 14/07/26 to quote for a loft conversation and some downstairs building works. Provided a full breakdown of what was required before the site visit. I was ghosted for a few weeks, despite chasing via telephone once or twice. On 28/07/26, I telephoned again and spoke to Sukh - he told me that a quote by email had been sent on 24/07/26… no such email was received. At the time of writing, they have not been able to forward that alleged email. However, the worst bit is that Sukh called me back later today to say that a straightforward loft conversion for a small 2-bedroom detached bungalow would be around £100,000. I asked for the quote that they said they had allegedly sent on 24/07/26 to understand the breakdown… unable to send it, and unable to even explain the breakdown on the phone. After they initially ghosted us, we had two other reputable builders visit and give their quotes for the same loft conversion. Both came in at around £55,000 cheaper. I repeat - both are well-reviewed reputable builders. We’ve had a lucky escape, apart from them wasting our time. Avoid like the plague.

West Midlands Building Company have just completed an orangery extension July 26. This enabled us to create an open plan living space by breaking into the lounge, dining room and kitchen from the new extension. Bifold windows means we can enjoy a far better view of our garden. WMBC also enlarged our patio area.
The workers, approx 6 in total across the 8 week build period were all excellent and delivered a first class project from start to finish. They were considerate, ensured a clean & tidy site, worked extremely hard. They made sure our needs were uppermost and were quick to alter anything, as necessary. Our neighbours equally remarked how professional and diligently they worked.

We recently used this building company to remove our old conservatory and carry out an extension to our kitchen and dining room. The project also involved removing internal walls to create one large open plan kitchen, living, and dining area, completely transforming the way we use our home. They also replaced our garage and lean to roof, creating a seamless wrap around roof across the side and rear of the property. The addition of large skylights has flooded the space with natural light, giving it a bright, spacious, and welcoming feel.

From start to finish, the builders were outstanding. They arrived on time every day, worked quickly and efficiently, and maintained a high standard of workmanship throughout the project. Nothing was too much trouble, and the whole team was professional, reliable, and friendly. We genuinely could not fault them and are absolutely delighted with the finished result. We would recommend this company time and time again to anyone looking for a quality building company
