This is a very good grounding for boys…
This is a very good grounding for boys and girls alike. It is well organised and properly managed. Kids are encouraged to focus throughout and training is tailored to their needs. Importantly, kids are taught fair play and good sportsmanship. Match manners are instilled. Can't recommend it enough...just a shame it starts at 6.30. A bit late in the winter months.

Hi Arshil,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Reviews are really important to us, and we always take them seriously as they help us continue improving the experience for all players and parents.
After looking into this with our Heston team, it seems there was a misunderstanding around one of the session dates. The academy had emailed several reminders about a temporary closure, which unfortunately didn’t come through clearly on your end, leading to the issue.
The team later spoke with your wife and offered additional sessions free of charge to make up for the inconvenience, as well as support in transferring to a more convenient academy, as you mentioned that Heston was too far to attend. We understood this to have resolved the matter and that your wife was happy with the outcome. We’re pleased to hear that your family is now happily settled at your new academy and continuing to enjoy training.
We hope this shows our genuine effort to resolve things positively and that you might consider updating your review to reflect the outcome.
Kind regards,
Joe

Great format for kids to get lots of touches on the ball. Well balanced sessions run by Liam and his coaching staff. My kid loves this format and always enjoys the session which is what I realised is the most important factor at a young age.

My 2 boys have recently joined WMF in Glasgow and I only have good things to say. Each session is different and enjoyable working on different things each week to learn new skills, the coaches are fantastic and work very closely with the kids helping them with each and every thing along the way. The progress my boys have made is amazing from when they started only a short time ago until now even when they are not at training they are working on what the have learned from their sessions. Cannot fault them great team to be apart of.

Professional business with real opportunities
WMF made my 9 year old daughter feel immediately welcome, and ran an incredibly professional, well organised session. The follow up at Chelsea's training ground was even better, and my daughter has been invited to trail at the ETC as a result. Thanks for the amazing opportunity!

Teaching skills and mutual respect
My son has just finished a weeks camp with We Make Footballers at Goals in Aberdeen. He did a few days at Easter Camp and picked up a few moves so decided to enroll him for a week. He enjoyed the sessions, they are well structured so they are being coached rather than just free play which I really liked. There were a few boys giving him bother on the first day, I raised it with David and it was addressed first thing the next day with a chat to all the kids about the importance of respect in sport and good sportsmanship. If your kid loves football, they will get a lot from this camp!

Betsy played at the we make footballers funflair festival
Betsy played at the We make footballers fun flair festival recently. She had a brilliant time! She got to showcase her talent to coaches and some scouts. Betsy got to the final at Cobham Chelsea. It was a memorable occasion! The ground was amazing and she got to play 1v1s and 2v2s and so on. The whole thing was well organised and great to see so many girls playing football. Betsy was lucky enough to get a trial from this for a ETC! Emerging talent center. So I highly recommend we make footballers as a place to be coached, have fun and become a better player. We make footballers have created the possibility for higher level football for Betsy already. Thank You!❤️

Fun Flair Festival
My Daughter attended the Croydon fun flair festival and even with the awful weather it was a really fun enjoyable event with great coaches and a great atmosphere. The girls were all so talented.
They also gave her the amazing opportunity of attending the final at Chelseas training ground in Cobham which again was a fantastic experience.
Its a great place to take girls and open up brilliant experiences and opportunities for them.
Thankyou We Make Footballers
