I strongly advise against working with them. everything is ok when they take your money. for a few years I paid every month. they were happy to take my money, but when my screen broke they started causing problems procedures, phone calls, emails. everything lasted three months finally I ran out of patience and blocked direct debit. they shamelessly asked when I would pay them. I don't want to have anything to do with them I strongly advise against it

Overall experience is good.when I communicated with staffs they really helpful.

Originally marked as a 1 star review, however the company since has resolved the problem.

The phone was dropped accidently during the verification process, it took them from around December 2024 until today ( 20/02/25) to get a resolution and finally a replacement phone. I had to do all the chasing and emails to find out where my claim was upto.
Just bear my experience in mind that it took me to leave a 1 star review to get the whole saga resolved.

If I could mark them as negative I would. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Been with them for years, paying on time every month, and then needed to make a claim. Was advised to get it fixed at the Apple Store and they would reimburse me. Submitted invoice on the 8th January and still no payment. Promised payment within 5 working days and still no payment. Numerous timelines missed, countless call backs ignored, emails ignored. All cowards. No one taking ownership of anything. Hands down the worst insurance company I have ever used. You would be better off without insurance than going with these jokers.

Terrible company! I had phone insurance with them for over a year, and when I accidentally smashed my screen before Christmas and needed to claim they made it nearly impossible for me to do so. From the time I submitted the claim early December to the current day (24/01/24) I STILL haven’t received the pay out. I’ve emailed, called several times with no response. I had an email stating the payment had been made to me on 13th January but I still haven’t received it. When I’ve enquired about it I’ve been told to just wait longer despite the email saying the payment would be with me within 5 working days. I’ve never used an insurance company that’s so dreadful before. Avoid at all costs!

Lost my phone whilst away in Poland and after much forward and backward with various documents many of which were not requested at the start and one with additional cost I finally got a replacement after 2 months, poor communication I had to constantly chase them, very poor service, will definitely not renew

I had a positive experience with So-Sure Mobile. My claim was handled efficiently and concluded smoothly. I'm happy with the outcome and would recommend their services.

Couldn't do the claim online for some reason so rang the claims line. Very helpful chap on the phone authorised the repair straight away and said I could either take it somewhere local and send them the receipt/invoice (Up to £300 for a replacement screen) or they could get it repaired which could take up to 3 days. Chose the first option and emailed the receipt over the day of the repair.

Didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks (this was over Xmas so was understandable) so phoned them and after eventually getting through to someone I was told via email to send them my bank details which I did within the hour.

Again waited 7 days and after hearing nothing from them I phoned again. Again, spoke to a very helpful person and was told the payment had now been authorised and it would appear in my account within 2-5 days. An email shortly after confirmed this.

It's a shame that this process took so long. While I appreciate it was over the Christmas period (repair receipt sent on 13th December and after 2 phone calls the payment has finally been authorised on 13th January) I feel this could have been handled a lot quicker and without me having to chase them up).

First time claiming so hopefully next time I need to claim it's a much smoother process. I was more than happy to complete the entire process online but I was unable to register the claim on the website.

I usually don’t write many reviews, never ever done any claim in my life this was the first one and what an amazing experience I’ve had with so sure and the team! They’re all so amazing and guided me throughout the claim for my tv.
Got it replaced just before Xmas. I just cannot recommend them enough! One of the best company out there. Hope they grow stronger in their business every year. We all need decent companies like these for our peace of mind.

I've had my policy a few years and really happy with the support when I needed it one time. They've gone through a company change which seems a bit chaotic but all seems well, for £120 a year I feel like it's worth it for the £50 excess.

I'm using so sour since last year and they have very fast service and quick response team. They made my claim process really easy.

Put a claim in 6 days ago and heard nothing. Chased today and was told I just had to wait. Not good enough!

I have used So-Sure for 2 years now and I would highly recommend them.
I have had a few claims in the 2 years, and they have been very straight forward and have always repaired my phone.
I have found Customer Services to be prompt and very professional.
I always find it nerve racking making a claim and they have always made it easy for me.

The worst ever,
I tried to make a claim and no one would answer my emails. The claim app could not found my policy and I have to repair my phone on my own despite the fact I pay for insurance. I've reported further and awaiting response.
Save yourself some time they are worst one ever

I had to contact So Sure every step of the way. Whenever a process was completed, I waited to be contacted by So Sure but I never heard from them. Only when I contacted them did something move ahead. I didn't get a phone, but got a cash settlement. It took more from my part than I would expect

AVOID! Absolutely appalling! Delay delay and more delays in refunding me for the monies owed when I cancelled my policy early.
They completely run rings around you with email-only contact. They are cowards and hide away using this form of service and email you vacuous promises that they then break.
I still can't quite believe they can operate in this way!
Never give them a penny of your cash..!

App doesn't open at all (chatbot says it's retired but had no warning of this until I went to update my policy), support phone number on website doesn't work, no way for me to change my policy online as the chatbot is instructing me to do. I'm stuck paying for a policy on a phone I no longer own and have no idea if/when somebody human will respond to my messages through their live chat. Joke.

Good service given, within in few days I got my device with it in good condition iam happy with so sure.

Easy to set up policy and very well priced. All different options of contents insurance and new ways to add what you have. Had to cancel a renewal and change something and it was so easy and simple. Plus completed straight away. I've had alot of faff trying to do so with other companies.
Would definitely keep using in the future. Very happy.

I have been with so sure for a couple of years now and never needed to claim, but unfortunately I dropped and broke my phone. I was very pleased with the service. They were very helpful and every time I called I always spoke to someone polite and friendly. Very easy service and got my claim very quickly and smoothly. Would highly recommend this insurance company.
