Trolled by The Walter Mitty Hunters Club HQ since April 2023. For those unaware of this hate page, it is run by an Anonymous admin. The benefit of being Anonymous means accusations like you are seeing do not matter if they are true or false, as no identity means no liability. Few of these trolls are ex forces and many are fake accounts. We advise researching them and not at face value. Court cases, police investigations and media outings for their wrong information. We R Blighty is a real organisation with veterans involved and supporting real veterans that can all be verified. This is a dark corner of the armed forces community and we recommend you stay as clear from these trolls as possible. Anyone not on their pay roll has the same opinion. Military and civilian!!! Be Walter Mitty Aware!!!!!

Absolute scam
Absolute blaggers don't assist veterans and pose as ex military but have never served
Massive company scam
Not a charity
Please be aware this is not a charity. They do very little for veterans and only a small amount of the money they collect actually makes it to the veterans they claim to help.
Think twice before giving them money.
No a charity but a business
No a charity but a business. I believe they are being investigated
This is not a charity.
This is not a charity.
They are under investigation by the police for 'financial irregularities' and also the Fundraising Regulator as of November 2024 according to the i paper.
Additionally, the same newspaper article claims We R Blighty CIC collectors pocket 50- 60% of the money you part with rather than it going to helping any veterans. They have also been found to refer to themselves as a charity in online publications despite not being a charity.
Please be aware before you part with any money.

Wish I had known before I donated in Cobham today
complete scam
complete scam - the person begging was not even able to give his veterans status correctly. It is tantamount to fraud.
Scamming thieving scum
I confronted them yesterday outside Bond St station. Asked them why they aren't a registered charity. They got defensive and aggressive and told me to "jog on". The blonde lady with horrible plastic surgery and a messed up face says she sleeps fine at night knowing that she steals from people.
This is not a charity. It is a scam
I wish I had known this was a scam before I gave a donation. Police have been informed.
Marylebone
Location - Marylebone High St.
Once again, threatened and offered to go round the back and “have a chat” when approached regarding their immoral dealings.
They 💯 do not represent the Armed Forces and since the police, press, council and De Walden Estate are onto them, something is clearly amiss.

I was done too
Loathsome
If you appear on Piccadilly again the police will be called immediately
Aggressive liars Who only help…
Aggressive liars Who only help themselves and are in no way connected to helping the veteran community
DO NOT GIVE THESE ANY DONATIONS
i just saw them on marylebone high st
i just saw them on marylebone high st. i walked past twice. The name did not ring any bells and it seemed a bit cliche , like Dad’s Army or a monty python sketch, or a political party or MP would use to be populist . It didn’t seem right. I was with a friend. There were two of them a man with bucket by the banners and a woman who seemed to do the greeting. She approached us all happy bubbly giving a hug with some story and saying xmas things like do you believe and be good. My friend inferred she acted like she was drinking. We were about to go then i decided to show them my service photos on my phone . i wished i had googled them instead it took less than a minute to find the reviews
They both were impressed and she took out her phone which had a cracked screen photos of who she said was her dad who was in the RA. she said he served in northern Ireland and Iraq… maybe he was long retired. i asked her what is rank was but she did not know!!!! surely she would know if he was a private NCO or officer.
She readout his serial number from a photo. it began 24 then i recited mine 24816211. They were impressed and cheered . I asked the bloke which unit he served in. He said he did not serve in the military they helped him when he was homeless so he volunteered for them!!! i should have smelled a rat.
I don’t know what became of me i gave him a tenner and watched to see him put it in his collection bucket. they were happy wishing me all the best. my friend said ‘were you mad? you can tell the woman was drinking!’
I told him my reservations, he shook his head saying ‘and you still gave them £10? well it’s your money’.
I then googled them and found these reviews. I also re read there web page description. They are not a registered charity, but a Community Interest Company (CIC). That is the clue!’
Moral of the story? google the ‘charity’ Before giving. Don’t give if the collectors have no experience of the cause they are claiming to support
I can’t believe how stupid i was. avoid!!!
Bailiffs coming
At first this company helped me abit but made me feel like i was begging.
They paid for a train ticket for me so I could get accommodation up north but made me use military discount card which I didn't have....I received a fine of £80 and now I'm getting bailiff letters saying that they will take my belongings!
Looks like a good company from the outside but they don't really care!
A real experience from a homeless veteran
I have met a couple of we r blighty guys at Bank and again at Aldgate. I’ve only read a few of the reviews given by others and to be honest they’ve upset me. I’ll explain.....
I am a veteran, having served in the Royal Navy. I was proud to wear my green beret, having completed the AACC, becoming a Royal Navy Commando.
I am now Homeless, which is another story and if asked what happened I’m happy to speak. So, unfortunately I am ashamed to say I have to beg to get by, which I was doing when we r blighting made a beeline for me. The name alone didn’t sit right with me from the start, then came the run down of all what they would do and how amazing Ben is..... blah blah blah... I played along to give them the chance of hopefully proving my instincts wrong. I’d heard the waffle so many times before. The whole reason for blowing smoke up my butt soon became clear. They wanted to take a photo of me and my dog to put online.
I was shortly after approached by city of London police who basically gave me the heads up to keep clear of we r blighted and that they are being closely looked at.
Incidentally, The Royal British Legion are fantastic and have provided me with help from time to time, most importantly they were able to sort out my dog, Bonnie, being registered officially as a Mental Health Assistance Dog, as she has made my living with ptsd easier.
Sorry for the essay but to get to the point, I have first hand experience of them and was disgusted by them. I would not deal with them and hope they’re looked on like some people look at me. I am genuine and don’t use my service as a sympathy vote. Please do not donate to them and if you want to help veterans then support RBL OR SSAFA.
Thank you
We R Blighty and Particularly Ben Mills…
We R Blighty and Particularly Ben Mills have literally been a life saver in helping an ex 42 Royal Marine commando.
Ben stepped up, when other charities couldn't, and put a hotel roof over the veterans head, Ben also gave Tescos food vouchers to help the veteran.
There has been alot of bad press about Ben but I can promise you from my experience and that of other veterans, he's literally saved a life in the interim.
The veteran is now being housed but for 15 nights he was looked after by We R Blighty.
My final advice to all, please don't believe all the negative comments you read.
Ben stepped up and helped whilst other military charities couldn't.
Thank you.
Friendly and helpful explanation about…
Friendly and helpful explanation about how contributions will help homeless veterans.
I donated £15 today to this…
I donated £15 today to this group outside Algate Station who claimed they were a charity representing the armed forces. I did ask for a poppy and was told they had ran out. I asked the man who approached to give me the poppy pin he had (Thanks. He said his name was Grant). However, I should have guessed because people were walking past and ignoring them. If what Trustpilot negative reviews say, I think they may have conned me out of £15 (hence the two stars), but I wish them all the best because they probably needed it more than me. I did get a digital receipt. FYI just found this online "We R Blighty cash collections for homeless veterans probed by police".
Don't trust these scammers.
Don't trust these scammers.
They have no affiliation with RBL or any other reputable organisation.
If seen report to Police!
Please stop this madness.
Please stop this madness.
You do not represent any service and you mock and insult those who have truly served.
This is the lowest of the low.
Iv havent witnessed any of your operators wear either a poppy or any correct insignia!
Truly scandalous
