Thank you Vynod and GoAnimate for spawning one of the most cringiest communities on the internet that crap out so-called "rants" and "salutes" or whatever those people still do....and you KNOW what I'm dealing with when the first negative review I see that has a manchild that STILL gives a dook about this rotting decaying corpse of a site that SHOULD have gone the same way as Google Plus.

This is a follow-up to my previous communication, and let me be unequivocally clear: the level of outrage and disgust among your user base has only intensified. The changes implemented since May 7, 2025, are not just disappointing; they are actively destructive to the creative community that once championed your platform. Your relentless pursuit of a restrictive, enterprise-only model is a betrayal, and the time for half-measures is over.

We demand a fundamental paradigm shift in how Vyond operates, moving away from its current aggressive restrictions and towards an inclusive, accessible future for all creators.

The exorbitant pricing, the suffocating AI Credit System, and the blatant disregard for individual users in favor of "automated machines" are no longer tolerable. Your free trial system, reportedly unavailable in many regions and severely crippled where it exists, is an insult to potential users. This cannot continue.

We demand a complete overhaul of your business model, driven by the principles of accessibility, affordability, and genuine user empowerment. Specifically, we demand the following immediate actions:

SCRAP THE AI CREDITS IMMEDIATELY AND PERMANENTLY. This manipulative and punitive system must be abolished without compromise. All AI features, including text-to-speech, AI avatars, and video generation, must be integrated seamlessly into plans without any artificial, credit-based limitations designed solely to extract more money.

REPLACE ALL CURRENT EXPENSIVE PLANS WITH A COMPREHENSIVE 8-TIER SYSTEM:
Your current four plans are a barrier. We demand an expansion to eight plans designed to cater to the entire spectrum of users, from hobbyists to government agencies:

We understand the proprietary nature of your platform, but the community built on GoAnimate and Vyond has been systemically locked out. We demand a roadmap towards making Vyond's core creation engine and legacy assets (e.g., Business Friendly, Whiteboard) open-source. This would preserve a vital piece of internet history, empower countless creators, and foster genuine innovation beyond your closed ecosystem. This does not mean giving away your enterprise solutions, but rather creating an accessible, community-driven version.

REMOVE ALL ARBITRARY RESTRICTIONS STARTING NOW: End the punitive limitations on video length, export options, and other creative tools that stifle user potential.

Your recent actions have not only crippled our ability to create but have also demonstrated a disturbing disregard for your community. And let's address the elephant in the room: this relentless push for AI has become an insult. You've introduced features that make it feel like AI has almost entirely replaced the human element we cherished! Vyond was once a canvas where we brought our stories to life, using tools that amplified our vision. Now, it feels like we're merely prompting a machine, meticulously counting credits, while the soul and spontaneity of human creativity are being systematically eroded. Is this the future you envision? A platform where human creators are mere afterthoughts, subjected to arbitrary credit limits while your AI churns out soulless content? You claim to "innovate human creations," but the reality is you're commoditizing them and making them inaccessible.

This isn't just about price hikes and credit systems; it's about the fundamental disrespect for your user base and the very essence of creative freedom. Your current trajectory is unsustainable and frankly, unacceptable.

Therefore, as a direct consequence of your disastrous decisions, I demand immediate and drastic changes. My demands are clear and non-negotiable:

SCRAP THE AI CREDIT SYSTEM PERMANENTLY! We are paying customers, not budget analysts. The idea of rationing basic creative tools is an absolute joke. Give us back our unlimited access to features we paid for, forever!

OVERHAUL YOUR RESTRICTIVE PLANS! The current 4 plans are a nightmare. Replace them with 5-6 new plans, including FOUR entirely FREE plans that offer core functionalities without any price tag. Stop gatekeeping creativity! Allow new users and students to experiment and learn without financial barriers.

OPEN UP FREE TRIAL SIGN-UPS! The current limitations are ridiculous. Every single free trial sign-up must be fully opened, providing unrestricted access to evaluate the platform properly, without hidden fees or crippling restrictions.

BRING BACK THE LEGACY! We miss the diversity and quality of older Text-to-Speech engines. RE-ADD Oddcast and Cepstral! They were integral parts of many users' workflows and their removal was a massive step backward in voice options.

EMBRACE TRUE DIVERSITY IN VOICE OPTIONS! Don't just re-add old ones; INTEGRATE ACAPELA TTS and many, many more high-quality text-to-speech providers! The current selection, even with "enhancements," feels limited. We need choices that truly cater to varied narrative needs, not just generic voices locked behind paywalls and credit limits.

My demand is simple: UNLIMITED FOREVER! Unlimited creativity, unlimited access, unlimited potential. You claimed to innovate; now, truly innovate by empowering your users, not restricting them. Revert these catastrophic changes, listen to your community, and restore Vyond to the platform it should be – a tool for boundless human creation, not a cash-grab machine stifled by AI gatekeepers.
Fail to meet these demands, and you will not only lose loyal customers like myself, but you will cement Vyond's legacy as the company that actively destroyed the very creativity it once claimed to champion.

Wasted 10$ on the trial, the service just won't accept my scripts, everytime I upload it says "unable to connect to server" I try with their generated script, it surprisingly works charges me of the credits and gives me a 1 minute video. While I needed 5 minute minimum. I reach out to customer support, they tell me it works fine for them and sends me a giga huge email to troubleshoot.

🚨 May 13 Update: Vyond Still Silent – They Are Ignoring Loyal Paying Creators 🚨

It’s been 5 full days since I posted my open letter on Trustpilot outlining the 10 demands Vyond must fix. I gave them a fair deadline — May 12 — to respond. They’ve done nothing.

✅ No reply.
✅ No update.
✅ No acknowledgment.
✅ No action.

This only proves my original review:
Vyond does not care about their loyal users — especially creators like me who rely on the platform to produce full series content.

They removed the Essential plan, capped video durations, limited downloads, put text-to-speech behind credit caps, silenced 141 voices we depended on, and refused to acknowledge their mistake.

I gave them one last chance to make this right. And they ignored it.

This is no longer just about me — it’s about every solo creator trying to build something real. If Vyond doesn’t reverse these changes and meet our 10 demands, they’re going to lose the community that kept them alive.

J'ai souscrit à un abonnement. Cela ne fonctionnait pas bien. J'ai eu un service clientèle au départ agréable. On m'a remboursée sans problème. J'ai apprécié et je me suis dit qu'en ayant un bon support, je pourrais faire confiance à la plateforme. Je décide donc de revenir sur le site pour réfléchir à prendre un abandonnement, étant donné que le service semble honnête. Mais bizarre, Je ne peux plus accéder au site, c'est étrange. J'ai essayé avec un autre mail et cela fonctionnait bien. après de nombreuses tentatives, il semblerait qu'il m'interdise l'accès au site. Est ce possible ? Comment ces plateformes peuvent encore exister tant leurs manœuvres semblent malhonnête. C'est un site internet qui devrait être accessible. Par ailleurs, j'ai contacté le site le 16 pour me plaindre des difficultés et sur ma partie client la date de résiliation était stipulée au 15 avril. Je n'ai pas eu de réponse sur ces décalages qui auraient pu expliquer un mauvais fonctionnement.
Donc après coup, je trouve que c'est incroyable de m'interdire d'aller sur le site. Tans pis pour eux et tant mieux pour moi, car je n'aime pas ces pratiques.

I love Vyond. It's so easy to create an explainer video quickly. Unfortunately, the community has been removed from the site. That's a real shame! Now, pointing out mistakes or suggestions has become much more complicated.

I just try the free version which didn't convince me anything at all. I write a prompt saying "Create a pig cartoon character in pixar style saying "....." etc. Two times create irrelevant videos.

I have been a loyal Vyond customer with a professional yearly subscription, using their service for almost two years as an individual seller on Fiverr. Recently, Vyond reported my gig, leading to its removal from Fiverr. They now suggest that I buy an agency plan, which feels unethical considering I've already invested $1000 in their service.

This experience has been extremely disappointing. It's unfair for Vyond to change the rules and penalize long-time customers like me who have invested significant time and money into building their business. I strongly advise potential users to reconsider purchasing from Vyond. Their actions have shown a lack of consideration for their customers, making them seem more like scammers than a reputable service provider.
Buy Powtoon or Animaker.

I have used this software for a few years. It's the only one I have a subscription for where there is less for more money. Cannot access Help at all as all is automated. If you have any sense at all, don't waste your money. Absolute rubbish, is limited and crashes constantly. despite paying nearly a small fortune a year the limited assets are even less! You have to pay more, and more if you want even less than you had last year. I am ensuring I do not pay next year's subscription. The catalyst for this is I cannot get any help at all if it's not in the automated 'help'.

There's a bunch of ready to ue characters/environments to get you started. Animations are top notch, love how you can simply add a text script and have the audio generated with minimum effort. Overall, happy with the tool

I saw my clicks increase quite a lot after I started animating videos. Vyond's ready to use materials helped me a lot through the process.

I love this tool because the ready to use components are enough to create full scale animation content on about any topic. My go to for ad assets at the moment.

Verdict
Vyond Premium is the entry level for small start-ups. It is a low cost product and the perfect choice for companies ONLY. I recommend it to everyone because it is industry standard, but only for companies.

Vyond is overrated by reviewers. For example, I chose the business friendly style. I discovered that the cartoon characters were images. I could not select them and move them when they were too small. I could not increase their size. Only contemporary mode works well because characters are made of vectors.

I made sure that the auto-registration was DEACTIVATED. But when my subscription was up, it automatically registered me for another month and deducted money from my bank account! I have an extra month of subscription that I have no use for. The feeling of being ripped off is pretty strong.

The product seems okay for the prices, but the support is the worst I've encountered in years.

Vyond removed the best themes like "Comedy World", jacked up the prices, and removed all the social media features.

Vyond? GoAnimate?
I looked at, & signed up for, both. Ridiculous. I could not even get a watermarked video from either.
Nope. Time to research more, what? GNU certified apps?
