Enjoyed the guided tour and not having to wait hours in queues. Only problem was finding viator reps to obtain tickets as they were not obvious would be good if they wore viator lanyard or badge.
Using Vrbo was so much easier and quicker than using your competitors. All booked within 5 minutes, no waiting 24 hours to see if the owner would accept your booking, only to be ignored.

Don’t book and pay until you contact host 1 st
Booked and paid as required for 2027 , host messaged and declined the booking , said I needed to cancel to get a full refund as she wasn’t taking bookings for next year , why are hosts allowed to advertise various dates and prices but then decline the booking because they want more money but have not updated thier prices , the money was paid out straight away so now I have to wait to get it back

Confusing booking process
I made a booking in September for a long weekend in February, which was accepted and a deposit was taken. Several weeks later, I received contact from the owner to say due to an issue with the website, the house was double booked and we couldn't go in until the Saturday which was no good for us. I'm currently waiting for the refund. £20 was a onekeycash payment which I also hope to get returned. Today I have made a new booking somewhere else. It was supposed to be £287 deposit with remainder due December. The Vrbo receipt confirms this, but I have also received 3 emails from Sykes Cottages - one saying I need to set up an account with them, another saying I have paid the full amount already and a third saying I have only paid the deposit!! I haven't a clue what is going on. I booked with Vrbo, not Sykes Cottages directly so I am confused by contradictory emails coming from both sources. Really not happy so far and I don't even know who I am meant to be dealing with anymore to sort it all out. The Vrbo chat isn't working either.

The host has cancelled the booking and only partially refunded the money says I have to claim the rest from VRBO as she has only refunded her portion of the rental
