I landed a £47k Accounting role at Scottish power which I’m extremely happy with! I feel like all my struggle has paid off.

Before joining this programme I honestly felt quite hopeless. It had already been six months since I graduated, and during that time I tried everything, including another program with a different company, but nothing really worked out.

From the start, the support here was different. When I booked my initial call, more time was given when I needed it. Everything was explained clearly, and there was always a willingness to help and accommodate me throughout the process.

I’m very happy with the outcome. I was honestly shocked because I wasn’t expecting it to happen so quickly. One of the biggest things that helped me was the mock interviews. Having the chance to practise consistently and get real-time feedback made a huge difference. We also did a lot of presentation work, which really built my confidence. Landed a £49k consulting job with sponsorship opportunity!

I got a job as an analyst at an energy consulting company in Central London Liverpool Street. They're paying me £44k as a base with a £5k bonus. They have the license to sponsor so they are happy to sponsor me when the time comes, assuming I'm still working there.

Before I joined I was giving up. I really did not think I would land a job, which was really surprising to me as an international that went to King’s for my undergrad and then LSE for my masters. I was ready to move back home. However, now that I have landed this job everything's changed, and all the things I was worried about won’t need to happen now thank god. I'm just happy to be done with the job hunt. I knew how to write a resume to an extent but there were things that Saem told me that that were on the material that I never saw anywhere else. And there was the other knowledge in terms of getting noticed by the job market that once again I've never even heard of before. I will say through having changed my LinkedIn, I'm getting recruiters that are dm’ing me regularly now with great interview offers for £60k jobs, and its just made a huge difference to my visibility on LinkedIn. Over a year in looking for work out of a masters degree, a few months with Voqqal and I've landed a job that I didnt even know I wanted - a junior laser applications engineer with Msolv! The wealth of specialist knowledge on job searching, and on how to properly represent yourself at your best in all aspects of searching for a job. Even after finishing with Voqqal, I feel well equipped to face the job market if or when I need to in the future.

I booked a call and provided all my details including visa status and time remaining. After that, there was no communication.

I only found out after booking another call that they didn’t want to proceed because I have one year left on my visa. This should have been clearly communicated instead of leaving me waiting.

Students should be cautious before paying large fees. Promises of helping secure skilled worker roles sound great, but there are no guarantees in the job market.

Landed a £35.6k sponsored role as a Graduate Chemical Engineer!

I landed a job at a company I wanted after just two sessions with the head coach at VOQQAL. I had over 10 interviews before this that didn’t go very well and once I did these sessions my interview experience changed massively.

The job I landed is a KTP Associate Environmental Engineer at University of West of Scotland and the salary is £35,600 with a Global Talent Visa, and this was just before my visa would expire in 2026! I’m so thankful for getting this job as I can stay in the UK now and really make the most of my potential and build al life and career here and not have to go back to Nigeria.

One thing that was missing was having someone listen to me and giving me specific feedback. I’ll say that was really helpful. The main thing that I used to struggle with was answering the question. Sessions with Saem helped me look back on how to focus on answering the question instead of rambling on. The content were really helpful, especially the blueprints. I landed a graduate biotechnologist job in the very first application I made with a sponsorship opportunity!

I applied to this company twice before joining the VOQQAL programme and both times I was rejected. After I joined and re wrote my cv and used their system of tailoring, for some reason I just applied again to this company, and I got an interview! And then after being coached on the video interview and final round in person interview, I landed the job!

This was the only application I did after taking VOQQAL’s coach’s advice. The company is called RoslinCT. It makes advanced cell and gene therapies and my position in the company would be that I am a Manufacturing Biotechnologist. My salary package for now is around £28k and they have told me they will sponsor when the time comes. This was a graduate job I landed with zero experience as well.

The course materials taught me things I didn’t know. I didn’t know there was AI detection for CVs, and I didn’t know there was a CV type in the UK. I also did not know I had to build up my LinkedIn and start texting recruiters, there was a format for everything. I didn’t know all these things that I had to build up a rapport with people etc. The study material definitely helped me, whether it’s me speaking on an interview or an online interview, telling me what to say, how to say and how to present myself. Talking to Saem and having that experience on a video call helped me a lot with my online interview as well as my in-person interview.

People should invest instead of wasting their time getting like 500 rejections. I can say that Saem is a really good coach. He doesn’t really get irritated because I know that I had been avoiding him for months because I didn’t have the confidence to make applications because of the rejections I got, and he was the one who was more concerned about my CV. I think he’s a really good professor and he builds up this confidence that you think you can achieve something if you have the will. I got a job and I think everyone else out there can get a job if they have the right guidance and this is coming from my heart, thank you!

One day I woke up and received this email and just felt thank God, I received and accepted an offer from Barclays for a job in London.

It was the pep talks I had with Saem, that was everything for me. The blueprint is a great thing and so is the content, but it’s just the one on one with him that was something that really sailed me through these interviews. Three of the questions that we practiced in the mock interview came in the actual interview.

Getting this coaching is a no brainer at this point. We waste so much money on other things, and this amount is nothing compared to the value of the output we get from it. When I started to get interviews it boosted me up because I could see the results of my hard work from the coaching program pay off. Regarding the calls we had, I did not start off with a plan but post call it became more structured. I finally gained an idea about what the recruiters and the HRs are looking for in interviewees and really optimised for this to land more interviews.

Before I joined I wasn’t really getting enough interviews, I had a couple but I didn’t really get any feedback from it.
After I joined, we went back to square one and started with my CV. I started learning how to frame my experiences so that I could land more interviews and doing job specific CVs and cover letters, which was something I thought I was doing. But being able to go through the program and individually go through the CVs and cover letter process with Saem was instrumental and it meant I started landing interviews.

It was really helpful especially around AI and using AI and where people trip up. I thought that was really useful and up to date and also the bits about how to present yourself in an interview and what kind of content to include in each interview question was really helpful.

With mock interviews I had messed it up the first couple times and I was really nervous. I stumbled across my words but that was a really important learning experience and I learnt so much doing the mock interviews that I’d otherwise not have when doing it with my friends and family.

Having both the course to go through in my own time but then the opportunity to meet with Saem to discuss any questions, and do mock interviews is worth the financial investment alone. But altogether it’s a hundred percent worth it. Recommend to anyone thinking about joining!
