Screen defect and zero customer support
I purchased a Vividstorm ALR 120” screen and after only 6 weeks of use, bubbles started appearing on the surface. This is clearly a manufacturing defect. When I contacted them to claim warranty, they offered no solution whatsoever and took no responsibility. For a premium product at this price, both the build quality and the customer service are completely unacceptable. Avoid this brand.

I placed an order from Switzerland for a projector and a screen.
Before the goods were dispatched, Vividstormscreen informed me by email that customs duties amounted to 20%. I then asked to cancel the order and receive a refund. Vividstormscreen had no problem with this and immediately refunded my purchase without charging any cancellation fees.

I ordered a motorized cabinet on Nov 28, 2025. I paid $4,000 (CDN) in full. They stated I would receive it within 6-8 weeks.
Dec 20, 2025 I email them with a status. They responded right away saying that the cabinet is "under production".
Jan 21, 2026. It's now 8 weeks since my order. No response until Jan 30:
"Just got informed by the cabinet factory, the customization has been done, it did take a bit longer than expected. I will confirm with the logistics again when the shipment ETA is confirmed."
Feb 6, 2026. I send another email "It's been a week since this email. Has my cabinet been shipped or not?"
No response by email I have to call them to get an answer, and it took me MANY calls to even get in touch with someone. When I finally did, their response was that the China factory which manufactures my product is off for the entire month of February due to some Chinese celebration.
Mar 8, 2026. I receive an email from them "The shipping company hasn't updated me with the detailed ETA yet.
I will check with them again next week and then update you."
Apr 9, 2026. I recieve an email from them "Sorry for the long wait. I just wanted to give you a quick update: your cabinet is currently in transit. The shipping service has been running slightly behind schedule, but it is now catching up. I expect to have a more accurate ETA for your cabinet in about a week or so, and I will update you again then."
Today is Jun 5, 2026. Since the Apr 9 email, I have heard NOTHING from this company. It has now been 27 weeks (yes, 27 weeks!!!) since I placed my order, and even now they cannot tell me when my cabinet will arrive.
All I get is excuses. One after another. This is the most frustration, anger inducing experience I have ever encountered.
STAY AWAY FROM VIVIDSTORM!!!

I placed an order for a Valerion Pro2 projector, ceiling mount, and Luxe Vision screen on 3 April. While my initial experience was very good, with the Vividstorm team responding promptly to my email regarding a change request, things quickly fell apart.
I received the projector and mount on 9 April but have not received the screen. I have tried emailing, calling, and messaging via WhatsApp to no avail. Not only does no one pick up when I call but also Vividstorm’s listed phone number connects to an answering machine that does not accept messages. The support emails listed in some of the replies below (projectorscreens.com) is that of a different company, which leads me to believe that the responses to the reviews here are AI generated. Finally, their website does not allow me to look up my order number, though I’ve been charged for the full amount.
Given it’s been two weeks since I last heard from Vividstorm I’ll be initiating a chargeback if they don’t respond by tomorrow. I’m glad to have some of my order but would not be able to contact them for warranty support, returns or exchanges on that merchandise, which is illegal. I hope they reach out to resolve this but would strongly recommend against purchasing from this company until and unless they fix their communication issues.
EDIT: Vividstorm contacted me after posting this review. They apologized for the delay and sent my missing screen promptly. They also requested that I remove this review in light of that resolution. I am updating my review to two stars in light of my fulfilled order but leaving it up to warn others that their ability to obtain post-sale service may be limited.

I purchased from Vividstorm and received a defective projector that never worked. I returned it as instructed, but instead of resolving the issue, I was told to follow up with the courier myself.
The cabinets delivered were also in poor condition, with visible defects, missing parts, and a non-functioning motorized unit. These issues could not be fixed with basic cleaning as suggested.
After multiple attempts to resolve this, I have not received a proper response or solution.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.
Update as of April 25, 2026:
They state that they take the matter very serious but I have not received any communication since they wrote their response. In addition, they have been on all the email communications and have not responded once.
They have stated they have escalated the case but no communication has occurred. The way this company works is that they don't do anything and they think customers will just go away.
Be very careful of this company because they take your money and you won't get your products and if you do it probably will be damaged/missing parts, etc

Vividstorm “Paris” Projection Screen Cabinet – My Experience
I purchased the Vividstorm Paris projection screen cabinet expecting a premium, well-engineered piece of equipment to complement a high-end ultra-short-throw projector setup. Unfortunately, my experience has been the exact opposite. After living with the unit and dealing with their support, I feel compelled to share an honest review so other buyers understand what they may be getting into.
First, the reliability of the unit has been extremely poor. My cabinet has completely stopped working twice. This isn’t a minor glitch—it’s a total failure of the cabinet mechanism and screen system. When a product like this is marketed as a premium motorized cabinet designed specifically for projection systems, it should function consistently and reliably. Instead, it failed repeatedly.
The bigger problem is customer support. Vividstorm’s customer service is essentially nonexistent. When the system failed, it took four days just to reach someone in China. Communication is slow, fragmented, and handled through WhatsApp messages instead of any formal support channel. When you finally do get someone on the phone, they tend to argue about how the product works perfectly—even when you provide clear video evidence showing that it does not.
Replacement parts are also extremely difficult to obtain. When a product contains multiple motors, actuators, and electronic controls, it is critical that the manufacturer have spare parts and proper service documentation available. Vividstorm provides neither. Parts are essentially nonexistent, and there are no proper technical schematics or wiring diagrams available to help diagnose problems.
The only “instructions” they provide are a handful of poorly made videos with background music and very little technical explanation. For a complex motorized cabinet system, that simply isn’t acceptable. Anyone who needs to troubleshoot or repair the system is left guessing.
There are also several design problems with the cabinet itself.
The sides of the screen are unattractive, using a cable running vertically with small tabs holding the cable in place. This looks unfinished and out of place in what is supposed to be a high-end theater cabinet.
Another serious flaw is the cabinet door clearance. The bay doors rest roughly an inch off the ground. Because of this design, the doors are extremely vulnerable to damage or impact. It’s surprising that a cabinet at this price point would have such an obvious weakness.
The bay door mechanism on my unit frequently makes a loud growling noise when operating. Instead of smooth, quiet operation, the system sounds strained and mechanical.
The most serious issue happened when the rear door came down and actually tore the projection screen. Despite clear documentation and video showing what occurred, Vividstorm refused to take responsibility for the damage.
Even their own U.S. representative admitted during a conversation that much better products are available on the market. That statement alone says a lot.
Overall, this product appears to prioritize flashy marketing over engineering and support. Between the repeated failures, lack of replacement parts, poor documentation, and extremely frustrating customer support experience, I cannot recommend the Vividstorm Paris projection screen cabinet.
Anyone considering this system should carefully evaluate alternatives before investing in a product that may leave them without support when something goes wrong.

Bought a vision Pro 2 Projector for 4000$ with them. Sent an email shortly thereafter for expedited shipping,no response. I called them, no response. Mailed them multiple times, no response. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. You can not contact them in any way and they just keep your money. Dont buy here.

I bought a motorized projector screen from Vividstorm in 2024. Less than a year later, the motor malfunctioned and I'm no longer able to use the projector screen.
I contacted Vividstorm support, and they said that they can replace the motor for me, but I will have to find a way to ship the screen back to China and pay for the shipping cost. Another option was that they would send me a motor that I would have to fix myself.
In an ideal situation, I wanted them to send me a new projector screen because there's no reason it should break within a year. But that wasn't an option, so I opted for them to send me a new motor. I followed up 3 weeks later to learn that they haven't sent me the motor.
I will never recommend buying from Vividstorm. They don't do right by their customers. If something happens, it's a pain to get them to resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, the delivery times don't seem to be accurate at all. They also can't tell me when the order will be shipped.
In addition, information is only provided in response to inquiries. They never take proactive action.
I am now switching to a higher-priced competitor and will be turning my back on Vividstorm forever. Unfortunately, this was a very bad experience for me, and I can only advise everyone not to order from them.

Bought a projector screen 2 weeks ago on Vividstorm.com and have not received any tracking info. Emailed three times, no answer. All their phones are either not picking up or going to voicemail. Usually tracking information gets sent straight away or within a few days of purchase. I'm not sure if these guys are a scam or if they're just living in a different century. 🙃
Edit: Item arrived after 3 weeks, so not a scam. They should still improve their order/tracking comms though.

Well here I am sat at home waiting for my new screen to arrive only to be contacted by DHL regards another £116 to pay for shipping, in fairness Vividstorm website does mention there may be other taxes to pay but feel the way this is worded within their website its quite easy to see the free shipping comments and miss the bit about extra taxes!
I am going to pay this as I need the screen but this has already left a sour taste in my mouth, I prey this screen is in good condition and worth the money as ive since seen all the other bad reviews!!!
If it does arrive in good condition and continues to work for a good period of time I may amend this review, fingers crossed!!!!!
This is an update to the above:
the screen has now arrived and I must say I was very impressed by the packaging it came with so fisrt impressions good.
After opening I again was very impressed with the quality of the screen, casing only at this point and the paperwork comes in a very presentable folder which incidentally is very well written bering in mind this is a chinese screen, well done guys!
Ive now mounted the screen useing the brackets provided once again all packed very well, screen went up a treat took around 30mins, the one downside:
The cable leaves the projector on the right hand side which I sort of new from the online website, unfortunately my power source which is in the ceiling is on the left, as I am a electrician this was no biggy I thought!
This projector does not come with a compatible plug for the Uk and know the average home owner will have trouble working out what to do, once you cut the useless to the Uk plug off of the supply cable there will be a little confusion the colours are not the same as ours so although the warranty says you must not open the case I had to do this to confirm the cable colours so as not to blow the motor!
i'm glad I did as these were crossed at the motor side of the loom, red was neutral and black was live, definitely not what I would have guessed at!!
Moving on, screen installed and a free dongle to plug into the projector was a nice touch, this is to remotely lower the screen when you power up the projector nice little bonus, the screen itself does look amazing compared to others I've purchased Celexon and so on but have yet to put a picture to it so holding back on the picture quality for the time being.
Summary to date;
I would definitely buy again but feel they need to add something about extending the cable and the supply colour codings, extension is mentioned but thats it no other details, as said I do this for a living but may confuse the less experienced.
Love the dongle touch and thought they do actually care about the product so well done!!!

I purchased the Velarion Vision Master Pro 2 with the floor rising screen, including the bundle offer with the ceiling mount. I was told the delivery would take one week.
The screen arrived first, and after waiting months, the projector finally arrived — three weeks after the screen. But the ceiling mount has still not arrived.
Every time I asked for an update, I was told it would arrive “next week,” but it never did. After I escalated the issue, I was told that the ceiling mount was part of an offer and that I “didn’t pay for it,” which is extremely unprofessional. It was clearly included in the bundle at the time of purchase.
This has been a very disappointing experience. I had to cancel my ceiling-mount technician twice because of the repeated false promises. I had recommended Vividstorm to many friends who are building home theatres, but after this experience, I can no longer recommend your company.
Other companies like Nothing Projectors provide excellent service and fast delivery. Your constant “next week” promises and lack of honesty have caused unnecessary delays and frustration.

The website was easy to use to order a bundle once we decided what we wanted. When we noticed an item on another site cheaper we were offered a similar price. The projector arrived after 2 weeks, screen 3 weeks and then cabinet at 10 weeks. There are plenty of instruction videos online but all slightly different to our cabinet. More and more they seem to be providing cabinets as ready for use as possible. It did take plenty of time to set it up but when we got stuck we rang vividstorm and Andrew helped us. This was on a Saturday so great after sales support. The product all set up is fantastic. Super pleased.

I just want to return the product it was not because of extra custom fees but the product in total combined with my Valerion pro 2.
I have been waiting for 4 months now, nothing about the return proces has been shared. So no cooperation until now.

Received the floor rising projector screen but I did not like the proce/quality. I wanted to return the unit but they still after months are not informing me about the return procedure. They did call me and tried to change my mind but I responded that I did not like the product and now I have been waiting months for the return procedure. I now have escaleded it as well with PayPal. Bad. Customer service for a pricey product.
