I was excited to try the Vitesy Refrigerator Purifier. I had high expectations for this product due to its high cost. When I opened the package and followed the instructions to rinse the filter and let air dry, I was immediately disappointed that the outer part of the filter was already yellow tinged. I did what the instructions said anyway and while it dried, I put the other piece on the charger. I then went to my computer to see images of the filter to see if anyone else experienced the yellowing upon opening it. I was sort of "relieved" that other people had the same thing. Back to my excitement, believing this product was going to remove odors and keep my fruit and veggies fresher longer. I still have odor, and my veggies did not stay fresh any longer. I am really frustrated by the charging of it. States that it will stay charged for 30 days. NOPE. I am having to charge it every 2 - 3 days. UGH. This item was so expensive. I'm going back to my baking soda solution! No need to charge, removes odors, and a minimal cost.

My family are fruit fanatics and we love stockpiling whatever is on sale at Costco each month. Last time around it was blueberries. Unfortunately, despite storing them in ProKeeper containers inside our fridge crisper drawer, I noticed some grey mold growing on some of the berries within the first week! It was a frustrating waste of perfectly good fruit, and the Shelfy seemed to offer a compelling solution.

After installing it in the evening and letting it run overnight, I noticed a considerable reduction in odor in my fridge. By the third day, it was totally gone! I've also noticed the strawberries from my last grocery run lasted at least three days longer than usual. Before the Shelfy, my go-to odor and moisture control method was dumping some baking soda in a glass cup covered with poked-through plastic wrap which, in retrospect, wasn't terribly effective and more of a feel-good placebo than an actual solution.

Setup is incredibly straightforward. The unit itself comes assembled with the reusable ceramic filter installed, so all you have to do is charge it a bit and pair it with the Vitesy Hub app. The app provides these fun little status reports on your fridge's condition and can even detect when and how often the fridge door is opened, which is neat. The app will also remind you to wash the filter every 30 days, making maintenance a breeze. To conserve battery life, the Shelfy doesn't run its fan continuously but rather operates in cleaning cycles throughout the day. I was able to get just over a week out of a single charge before needing to recharge with the included USB-C cable, which I feel is more than reasonable. I experimented with different positions and orientations in my fridge, and there's actually a different mode you can select in the app if you place it in the crisper drawer, but I settled on having it upright on the top shelf of my fridge. It intakes air from all around the rear of the unit where the filter is exposed and exhausts it through the top of the front, so keep that in mind when positioning it.

While pricey, I think the Shelfy is an innovative product that offers something I haven't seen before and actually delivers on its promises. For families like mine who buy produce in bulk, it could easily pay for itself in reduced food spoilage.

I didn't know something like this existed, I wish I found out sooner. It really is saving my produce. Depending only on the fridges built in filters was not effective. Food use to rot with in a week or so. Now, they show no aging at all. Infact, I have some raspberries that literally dehydrated without rotting. The only negative I have is the cost. You would need to be throwing away at least $10 a month worth of food for a year before it saves you anything. So if that is you, or you get it on sale, definitely get it. It is well built with some heft. There are no maintenance costs. It has a rechargeable battery and the filter is washable. 3 settings, normal/eco, heavy, and light for crispers. Led's keep the filter sanitized. The app is informative. It tracks, via charts, temperature, how often the door has been opened, battery level, and when the filter and the fridge should be cleaned. It send notifications if anything is up. There is a tab for showing where each type of produce should be placed in the fridge based on it's style. If your buying very expensive organic food, this is definitely a must have.

I received Shelfy by Vitesy Refrigerator Purifier to test for my honest opinion. I have to say it works amazingly well. I love how fresh it keeps my veggies and fruits. That's always been a problem for me when purchasing fruit, but I can truly say, having the Shelfy was needed for our fridge. I love that it came with an app that allows us to have better control over our fridge and even gives us the temperature setting. It also makes our fridge smell better, before using the Shelfy our fridge always had an off smile, thankfully this product removed the smell. I also loved the shape and design off the Shelfy, not too big, but just the right size. I would definitely recommend this product to others for the fridge freshness.

usually meal plan for the week and buy all the fruit and veggies I'm going to need. But then I don't have time or don't want to eat what I planned, and by the time I get back to my produce, it's gone bad. With Shelfy, I can shop on Sunday, order a pizza on Tuesday, and not feel guilty about it because my fruits and vegetables are still as fresh-looking, crisp, and delicious on Saturday as they were when I picked them out at the store. Stop wasting food and money and get one.

I love this thing. My food is staying fresher for longer simple as that and it gives me updates on my fridge score.. wish I found this along time ago so much wasted food..

I did noticed that it helped with smells (even with cut onions stored in the fridge, but given the cost helping to deodorize vs the cost effectiveness of baking soda alone would not be worth it. HOWEVER, I stock my fridge with fresh produce weekly and always have a hard time keeping berries, cucumbers, and greens (especially arugula or butter lettuce) fresh. In my experience, I noticed that my greens kept about 4-5 days longer and my berries lasted over a week longer than normal. I also appreciated that the filter is washable (rather than needing to be replaced) and it uses USB-C charging (rather than batteries) Although it's a pretty large investment up front, since I'm so produce heavy in my grocery shopping I think it would definitely pay for itself in savings from food waste in about 6 months or so. If you're not big on fresh produce, I'm not sure if the investment would be worth the cost.

I am so amazed by Shelfy! I was raised putting boxes of baking soda in the fridge to keep it fresh to keep it fresh. I found that it didn’t do all that much, I could not keep up with changing it every 30 days and I hated to waste it.Shelfy brought freshening the refrigerator into the modern age! I never knew such a thing existed! It is only a tiny bit larger than a box of baking soda, but it packs so much in! The filter is washable, so you don’t have to buy replacements. It is very educational. It coached me to get the temperature settings optimal. I thought the coldest was best, but it said that was terrible for energy and the food. With Shelfy I got it just right! Also, it has a long list of the best way to store different foods. It tells you the battery life, when to wash the filter and even when to clean the fridge. I am in love! This little box is wonderful! Truly!!

I contacted Vitesy on the weekend expecting a response by Tuesday. Instead, I had a response early Monday that detailed my issue and gave me a resolution that cost me nothing.
I asked a further question and received an immediate response.
All communication was very quick, very complete, very understandable & very professional.

I was thrilled to get my Shelfy in the mail so I could get started using it. We have just started to eat a lot more fresh fruits and vegetables in my house so it is a perfect time to try it out. The first thing I liked was the app you can use. The app is great it gives you the fridge temperature , how many times the fridge is opened, when it’s time to clean the filter, and time to clean the fridge. I love that I don’t have to keep up with that myself. I also like how the app shows you how to pack your fridge! I have been using the Shelfy for a few days and have noticed that my strawberries and Bluberries have stayed almost as fresh as the day I bought them! My zucchini and celery have not gotten mushy like they usually do! I love love love my Shelfy! I tried putting some fish in the fridge to see if the Shelfy would get rid of the odor and it did a great job keeping the fish smell at bay. I can’t wait to keep using my Shelfy and see how much money I save by not having to throw away fruits and vegetables because they have gone bad so quick! Definitely a must try for anyone

My experience with Vitesy was very good .

I have some hiccups when setting up to the App so I sent an email to Customer Service, received reply within 12 hours with remedy to reconnect the App.
So far so good, the unit is working properly and the App provides all the data you need. I would give it 5 Stars Ratings.

Great company. This Vitesy shelfy works great!!! I wasn't sure if it would or not because of the mixed reviews on Amazon, but it truly does work! I put mine shelfy inside my veggie and fruit drawer because that's what I intended the use for it. I wanted my veggies and fruit to last longer. I buy lots of fruits and veggies and for some reason it depends on the mood of my household how often they get ate. For example, Sometimes I can't keep raspberries in my fridge because nearly as soon as I put them in there someone eats them. But other times they can set in there for a week. So this is definitely something I need because it feels awful to throw away food. I have definitely noticed a difference in my veggies and fruits and I hadn't had to throw anything out yet, and there's been quite a few fruits and veggies left over a week. I'm so thrilled I got this and I definitely recommend this!

The Shelfy by Vitesy has been awesome so far. It does exactly what I hoped it would. I bought groceries six days ago and my fruits and veggies are still going strong. It's been easy to use and it's very quiet. The device itself is nice and small so it easily fits in my crowded fridge. The filter is easy to clean, just rinse it off. My fridge smells fresh all the time now and the app even shows me the temperature inside of my fridge. I would recommend!
