I am very disappointed with Virgin…

I am very disappointed with Virgin Plus. Their customer service is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. The representatives don’t know how to speak to customers properly, and it often feels like they don’t even understand the job they are supposed to do.

It is very difficult to reach a real person, and when you finally do, they don’t solve the issue or give clear explanations. My bill keeps increasing without any valid reason, and no one can properly explain why.

I feel like I am constantly being overcharged, and honestly, it feels like they do it by purpose This company is very dishonest, and I do not trust them at all.

I would not recommend Virgin Plus to anyone. There are much better providers out there with more reliable service and respectful customer care.

Total scam artist

Total scam artist. Don’t trust them. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and decided to switch plans to save money. What was offered and presented in the email was not included in the contract. This caused unforeseen charges. The removed perks that were supposed to included. This play will on last for a bit but you will start seeing more people leaving because of this unethical behaviour.

Dont go here

Well I have been with virgin for over 20 years and the loyalty program is just like I was brand new the lady I talked to actually told me to find service else where if I didn't like the plan. Or phones are way over priced they are owned by bell so you think you would get same benefits no 5g, 4g only thing is that they do is collect your money heaven forbid if you have a problem you dont have good English and understanding skills the you shouldnt be working in the customer service even took me everything I had not to blow a gasket at them. Then try to ask for a manager they refuse to let you then it take 24- 48 hrs for a call back which certainly never ever calls back i am so sick of them and bell for letting you go through this to even get heard

I traveled with the phone away from…

I traveled with the phone away from Canada, and kept the phone off data roaming, cellular data, phone strongly connected to WiFi there. I got charged $35 and $90 sweet roaming ?!?! , two bills in a row.
First I paid, tired to debate, but the second $90 I called and challenged the charge with honest that I didn’t use the phone. Guess what, the staff on the phone was very understandable, and cancelled on spot the charge
He was very polite and helpful, thank you Virgin Plus

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I would give less than one star if that were possible. Joy in customer service was not helpful and did not work toward a solution. She kept insisting on her own response and did not listen to my concerns. Instead of resolving the issue, she made it more difficult. Very disappointing service. She should not be working in customer service.

Unethical

Unethical! I was approached by a sales person at Staples, who told me my phone bill could be lower if I switch to Virgin. After paying astronomical fees to switch, my monthly bill went up by a significant amount after just 7 months. I lost the special pricing I had with Koodo mobile and so I could never get that back. Never again!

I was with virgin from 2023

I was with virgin from 2023 - 2026. I just recently swapped phone providers this past Monday. My bill was originally $35 a month plus taxes for 60GB of data as well as unlimited texting and calling. 3 years later, they were trying to charge me $64 after tax for the exact same services. I was never once notified of the price increase. I contacted customer support, and after having to go back and forth with AI for a few minutes (super annoying) I got a real agent. This agent insisted the plan I was on was a great deal. When I asked if they had any better offers for me, they said the BEST they could do was $39 a month for only 3G of data at 3G speed with unlimited text and calling. I didn’t even bother going back and forth with them. I told them I’m just going to find a better deal else where. From there, they tried to set me up on a phone call with someone to see if they can find me something better, to which I ignored. I’m not gonna sit on the phone and argue with someone for a fair deal. So I simply switched to Koodo who offers $35 a month, 80GB of data and unlimited texting and calling. 3 days later Virgin calls me offering me an “exclusive offer” that consisted of 100GB of data, unlimited texting and calling, international texting for $30 a month. That made me so incredibly angry. If you had a better offer, why lie ? Also, why charge me, a 3 year loyal customer, $64 for such a ridiculously basic plan. I will never be back. Terrible behaviour.

The first agent I called didn't seem to understand, and his English was limited.

I had to call back and placed a second request for a call back which takes half an hour. The second agent was pretending not to hear me but I know she could because I could hear the echo, she said she was authorised to hang up on me and did.

FRUSTRATED!!!

After over 15 years with Virgin, I am beyond unhappy. I ordered a new Samsung s26 ultra on March 5th with an ETA of 2 to 5 days.After repeated calls to them asking why it hasn't arrived and why it doesn't seem to be moving, I was continually told it was indeed on its way. Last week I actually called Purolator who was supposed to be delivering it, and was told they have never received the pkg from Virgin. Back to Virgin this morning, and i'm told again that it is on its way. After hearing this I was very upset and told them to look farther into and get it fixed. Now I am told to 'be patient' as it is being shipped today and 'will take the NORMAL amount of time to get here. Ugh. 2 - 5 days again and I'm sitting with a phone that mostly doesn't work anymore. FRUSTRATED!!!!!

What a disaster mobility and terrible…

What a disaster mobility and terrible customer service . They keep sending me a higher bill ,not only higher it is doubled claiming that I have exceeded my data limit . I do have wifi at work and at home always connected to wifi . How on earth I did used my data limit and apparently went over 1.8 gigs . Their service sucks, customer service a disaster . I am a 10 year loyal customer and they don’t even give a damn . Today I have decided to get rid of them . Don’t even think about switching with them . They have 1.3 score from the reviews and that must tell you something .
I AM DONE WITH THIS CROOKS .

Customer service

Customer service is terrible was with virgin for approximately 10 years, couple times was a few days late paying the bill and they were calling non stop daily. Decided to move my account and service to another carrier and now ive been waiting since November for a refund of $180, and everytime i call all i get is another future date, an excuse of an incorrect address mean while on account from day 1 always correct never a problem prior, and today told again I can expect it by March 21st. Over 120 days after ive cancelled the account. Absolutely brutal....

Update today is March 25th almost 4 months since I cancelled and still no refund, what a joke. Wish I never dealt with virgin ever, 1 day late paying and they are calling or texting non stop to remind to pay, 4months after leaving still haven't refunded my over payment of account. Great job Virgin.

Unbelievably bad customer service

Tried setting up a cell phone account. The app doesn't work and the online links don't work, I just get an error. I tried calling them and set up a time for a callback. The call came and it was a recording saying they were too busy to have an agent speak to me and to call back. I have called back twice and I sit on hold for 20.minutes. I tried e mailing and no one responds. This all prior to even starting with them. If you read this at Virgin, consider me no longer interested. I believe I dodged a bullet here.

Cannot get help connecting replacement modem to network

Cannot get help either simply connecting to internet with replacement modem. Reps do not listen or understand basic English. Hard to hear and hard to understand with accent while speaking to Philippines. Tried with 2 different agents and still not connected. Burgin in Canada is not accepting new customers for internet. Keeping existing customers. Sent me to Bell store to pickup replacement modem and when I got there they sent me to Virgin kiosk. Poor communication and incorrect communication. So looks like they ate providing no support to existing internet customers.

1. They use "AI, " which, of course, doesn't understand ANY topic and keeps giving irrelevant info.
2. After many barriers, I got to the point where it suggested I talk with a live agent, and I needed to choose a time when they call. Once I chose one of the dates they suggested, I had to guess the time I wanted to discuss my issue. They don't give me time. And every time I would enter time, they kept saying, 'Ops, this time is not available', and after my 5th attempt to find the available time, they said, ' We are unable to accommodate you, call another time.
It's like playing hide-and-seek with a blindfold, only worse.

RUN RUN RUN FROM VIRGIN/ABSOLUTELY A COMPLETE FAILURE FOR ANY CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

I am so sorry I cannot leave a negative star. This company has gone so far down hill it is absolutely the worst or the worst for customer service. And how frustrating and irate I am at starting to get into my account for two days on the phone. Sent to yet another rep that has not got a clue what they are doing. but read a script so well to tell u how much Virgin needs more money for infrastructure. WHAT A CROCK OF CRAP!!! I personally do not give a rat's ass if Virgin wants to increase their 21% increase in my bill over 18 months. NOT EVEN A YEAR SINCE LAST ONE. I called and called and called,..been given the wrong transfer so many times I cannot count,...to be put on hold yet again,..to get transferred yet again again and again. So it has now been two full days waiting for calls (when they don't drop that is so u can start a 8th time too start all over again to have them say, they need to transfer u once again. then go through it all over again and ....the call drops,..twice costing me hours and hours of starting again. I AM SO DISGUSTED WITH VIRGIN I'M FREAKING GONE ASAP. SO ANGRY I WILL NOT PAY MY BILL AND LEAVE THEM WITH MY UNPAID BILL FOR THE FIREST TIME IN 60 YEARS. VIRGIN,....GET STUFFED AND TELL YOUR REP ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD THEY ARE COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND COMPLETELY USELESS,....possibly unless they can get a change of address correct.

Unhappy with Virgin after being a long time customer

I was directed to the loyalty department after being a customer for approximately 15 years. Unfortunately, I was only offered the same promotions already available online — nothing additional or exclusive for long-term customers.

During the process, the phone I was interested in suddenly became “out of stock.” The only alternative presented was an upsell, with no meaningful loyalty incentive attached.

I also recently noticed my bill increased without any direct notification. I receive texts regularly for promotional offers, so it’s disappointing that a price increase wasn’t communicated in the same way.

After 15 years of loyalty, this experience feels very underwhelming. I will be exploring other providers moving forward.
