⚠️ Unauthorized Charges & Terrible Customer Service — Avoid VIN Reports Pro

I am writing this review to formally warn others about my negative experience with VIN Reports Pro. This company charged my credit card 30$ without my authorization and then failed to process a proper refund despite multiple requests.

After promising a refund within 7–10 business days, they stalled with excuses, unnecessary form requests, and inconsistent replies. It became clear that they had no intention of resolving the issue promptly or professionally.

Their customer service responses were dismissive and unhelpful, even framing the refund as a “complimentary gesture” for a charge that was unauthorized in the first place — a highly unethical practice.

I strongly advise anyone considering using this service to stay away. Always check reviews and exercise caution when dealing with companies like this.

I have since filed a chargeback with my bank and reported the incident to the appropriate consumer protection agencies.

Do not trust this service with your payment information.

I paid for a report from Vinreportspro but received an empty report with no useful information. I contacted them and was told I'd receive a full refund, but it's been over a 2 weeks and I still haven't received anything. Very disappointing experience – I was charged for nothing.
Also today after two weeks they tried to charge me again luckily the transaction was declined by my bank.
Avoid at all cost!

SCAM. They charge you for "membership" and if you don't cancel that they charge you for more.

its a big scam as everyone is mentioning. they deducted 30 Dollars 3 times from my card within a span of 30 days. after complaining many times no-one is interested to reply back and refunding the money.

This is a HUGE scam. I paid the $1 and now they are repeatedly trying to charge my credit card each month. The report itself was a huge disappointment. Do not ever trust or use them. They are trying to take advantage of people as they know the information is difficult to get.

Scammer, they says only 1$ after payment 1$ instead they cut 29.99$ from my debit card.

Yes it's a scam, they charge 30$ after initial 1$ without your consent (there is some kind of membership that is written in small letters that cost 30$ and is billed monthly, but they charged me immediately after the initial 1$, so it's a scam for sure). Wrote support for refund, no reply... Why can't they be closed?!!

Scam, had to cancel my creit card due to constant withdrawal of 29.90USD

I was also scammed by this website. They showed initially as 1$ charge but ended up charging me 30$ . I have immediately raised a dispute with my Bank Card " Wise" and also blocked the card. When I contacted the customer service from this website, they told me they will refund my money within 24 Hours,need to see!!!

Definitly they are scamers, they took 1 $ from and then 30$ and now waiting for 2 months for refund of the money, I have cancelation on my account but nobody give me my money back !!!!!!!

Definitely SCAM. The report request page shows the price: total $1 for the report. While paying 29.95 is charged, and PDF with black pages is provided instead of the real report. Trying to have a refund, or will escalate the dispute with the bank and Mastercard.

It is a scam. I payed and didnt get any report.

100% scam, they charged me 30$ for an incomplete report.

It's a scam.
They will ask for $1 for the VIN report, when you add your information, they will charge 1$ and 30$.
When you ask for a refund, they say yes and refund the 1$, then ignore you.
You have to start threatening claims with banks etc. in order for them to answer and refund the $30.
The actual VIN report is useless as well. Just copy-paste the VIN to google and you get more info than using this.
