Nairn and his team were enthusiastic, professional, and efficient. I wanted to inquire about upgrading my new home build inverter, installing a battery, and installing a car charger. They gave me honest recommendations and always took my perspective into consideration. They were extremely responsive and patient during the quote and install process.

Even though it was a bit tricky, Nairn was able to relocate the invertor from the attic down to the garage with no visible damage to the new home.

We ended up with a fox ess 10kwh battery system, 3.5 KW hybrid inverter, and ohme home pro charger. Couldn't be happier with the system and Nairn's work.

I asked Viking to install an EV home charger for me. Nairn was extremely helpful and directed the whole process from start to finish keeping me informed along the way. Dariusz did the site survey and completed the installation. He was very professional, knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. I’ve had the charger a couple of months now and it’s amazing. Mightily impressed by this company. Competent, gave good advice, did an excellent job of installing battery storage. They also fixed a problem left by my original installer, it all works perfectly now. They were helpful and personable, work was done neatly and to a high standard. We did a comprehensive review of the possible solar solution available to us from many companies, but it was Nick's calm and reasoned response to the various permutations that persuaded us to select Viking as our solar provider. Chris came and undertook the survey of the property, ensuring that the customer was content that the installation would not impact the structure of the roof. The initial proposed configuration of the panel layout, and the location of the inverter and battery was agreed; but, upon the arrival of the installation team, it was quickly discerned that it required some alteration. The team of Dariusz, Neal, Jim and Ollie were quick to revise the plan. With Dariusz and Ollie imaginatively devising the new cabling flow and inverter/battery location, Jim and Neal set about the installation of the panels on a roof where the slates were quite fragile - even adding an environmental protection net to prevent birds nesting under the panels. The work was completed within the day and Dariusz and Ollie remained, not only to commission the installation but, to ensure that they could get all the answers for an inquisitive customer. They all ensured that the place was clean and tidy afterwards.
There were some administrative communication issues experienced during the whole process but Viking's CEO was quick to accept and reconsider these issues for future customers.

Viking Electrical have been really helpful and very professional. They give clear and precise information about the process and are able to appreciate individul circumstances and work with you. Although living in a new build with token solar panels as standard - 4 of them - which did not provide much in the way of renewable offset….I shopped around and after contacting Viking I was put in touch with Chris….after a few discussions on what would be best I settled on an installation involving an inverter and battery back up, plus 12 panels. The install went ahead as planned and despite a few minor hiccups which were quickly resolved by Viking, the job was completed in a tidy and professional manner from start to finish. With all the paperwork taken care of by Viking I applied for an export tariff with a large energy provider…..following the installation of a SMART meter the energy provider control the charging and discharging of my battery to benefit from cheap rate to charge, and max rate payment back during battery export….the whole process is automated and already providing a cash return to me

So in summary I would say you are in safe hands with Viking and will get an install tailored to your requirement by Chris….nothing was too much effort for any of the team during installation….you are left with a functional money saving/making system…..so thank you Viking

Viking Electrical were very professional and supportive through the process of choosing the right system for my home. Only a 25% deposit and nothing else to pay until I was completely happy with the installation. The Team Nairn, Chris, Darius, Billy and Rab were always courteous and knowledgeable, happy to answer questions or tweak things as I asked for them. It was also nice to see that Viking have young apprentices given a chance to lean a trade hands on. I have had my system commissioned today and all the important paperwork has been provided on the same day!
Overall a Great experience and a company I would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent from start to finish Chris and Nairn very professional throughout, installers were excellent in explaining everything as they went along, putting apps on phone and explaining how it works, even thought it’s quite confusing I’m still learning I know Chris and Nairn are just a phone call away. Installed GivEnergy All-in-One. Issue with recorded warranty dates was quickly rectified. Already making substantial savings to our electricity bills.

Viking have a good understanding of the customer needs and are willing to discuss non standard installations whereas other companies seem to only be interested in set solutions.

Nairn explained the process in plenty of detail during the quote stage and left me feeling confident that there would be no issues during the installation of a 13.5 kWh GivEnergy AIO battery and EV charger. Nairn communicated with our DNO (GTC) to obtain the relevant permissions for installing the battery and EV charger.
Come install day, Nairn arrived with two of his team to start the physical installation (these batteries are heavy!) and lay down the wiring. By the end of the day, having worked tirelessly until after the sun went home, they did a quick cleanup and called it an evening. On the second day they completed the electrical installation, did a final cleanup, started the battery commission process, and got us setup on the GivEnergy portal and mobile app.
Nairn has been quick to answer any queries, and has continued to keep in touch through the final stages with our DNO approval process.
Genuinely felt like part of the family!

We'd been thinking about getting solar panels fitted for a while and contacted a number of companies for a quote. Nairn was not pushy at all and worked with us to come up with an installation that met our needs. The price was very competitive and in the end we decided to go with Viking Electrical as they are a local company that can provide that personal service if needed in future.
The installation was completed very quickly after confirming go ahead and was all done and dusted in less than 2 days.
I can say that we have now been audited by MCS as part of their quality control checks on installers and pleased to say all passed with flying colours.
