I was incredibly disappointed. The locations I wanted to visit were either unavailable or I had to arrive later. For example, Schönbrunn, many of the locations were sold out, and if I hadn't bought the Vienna Pass and just bought a visit to the castle, I would have gotten everything.

Wir hatten den Pass für 3 Tage. Den Bus musste man zunächst suchen.Trotz Flyer mit Zeiten waren die Haltestellen nicht auf Anhieb zu finden den. Den Bug Bus fanden wir immer. Tracking funktioniert genauso wenig wie die Speicherung in die wallet. Wir sind vom Hotel zum Belvedere gelaufen und keiner konnte uns sagen, wo der Bus hält. Sind bis zur Oper gelaufen und haben die Konkurrenz gefragt. Dann endlich gefunden. Ist informativ, wenn man drin sitzt, aber als Transport von a nach b zu zeitintensiv. Die Tour mit dem Schiff hätten wir ohne pass nicht gemacht und lohntnicht für den Preis. Zeitslot bei diversen Museen geht gar nicht und ist nicht machbar in der Zeit, wenn es online nicht zu reservieren geht. Fast lane geht auch nicht immer. Auf den Turm vom Dom kam man nicht. (Sollte in den Attraktionen mit drin sein) In die Wallet (iOS )kann man den pass nicht laden. . Fazit: kann man machen, muss man nicht. Ich würde ein Ticket für Öffis nehmen und gezielt alles erlaufen oder anfahren.
Viele Bewertungen schreiben das gleiche. Sollte sich der Betreiber zu Herzen nehmen, statt wiederholte KI Antworten zu posten.

Wir hatten den 6 Tage Pass. Hat sich absolut für uns gelohnt. Wir haben alle Vorteile der Karte genutzt.
An den anstehenden Besuchern vorbei gehen (besonders im Zoo Schönbrunn, ca. 150 Besucher an der Kasse und wir gingen einfach dran vorbei ;-))
Am 5.Tag konnten wir keinen HoponHopoff-Busse benutzen (Wien-Marathon). Im Vienna-Point haben wir ohne Probleme einen Tag Busfahren zusätzlich bekommen.
179€ gezahlt und 420€ Eintritt in Anspruch genommen (ohne Bus gerechnet)

Really bad, do not take it and make reservations instead. Using the pass and coming to the different museum will not work as it will be sold out. Save money and do not purchase this pass.

Best thing for unprepared travellers looking to do it all! Definately saved a lot of money. Its the best pass compared to any other city.

Der Viennapass war einfach zu buchen und abzurufen.
In den meisten Fällen konnte man super schnell ohne Wartezeiten oder ähnliches in die Attraktionen rein. Wir haben den Viennapass für 6Tage gebucht und wirklich fast alles gemacht. Das einzige was diesen optimieren würde ist,wenn statt der Hopon Busse, die U-Bahn mot drin wäre .

Vienna Pass has absolutely everything you need included in its price - with hop on/hop off busses and palace/gardens, museums, riding school, opera house, and so much more - it is incredibly cost effective and easy! We had a 48 hour pass, but could've easily used it for 72 hours or more and still have things to see. Enjoy!

Wir hatten den 6 Tage Pass und waren begeistert. Haben in den 6 Tagen sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten besucht und die vier Hop On Hop Off Linien dafür häufig benutzt. Die Nutzung war einfach und problemlos. Absolute Empfehlung wenn man viel in Wien sehen will. Macht es deutlich einfacher einen Überblick über das Urlaubsbudget zu behalten weil die Eintritte bereits abgegolten sind. Wäre toll wenn noch die Katakombenführung und der Turm des Stephandoms abgegolten wären.

Deckt den Eintritt für viele Sehenswürdigkeiten ab.
War für zwei Personen zwei Tage eine Ersparnis von €300
Unkomplizierte Handhabung.

Deeply Disappointing Experience – Staff Rudeness & Ticketing Scam

We specifically planned our trip to Vienna around visiting Schönbrunn Palace, which made this experience all the more devastating.

We arrived at 10:30 AM on May 1st (a public holiday) with the Vienna Pass in hand. What we did not know — and were never clearly warned about — is that the Vienna Pass alone is not sufficient to enter the Palace; you still need to queue for a separate ticket. Fine. We waited.

When we finally reached the ticket counter, the staff member responded to our request with nothing but a piece of paper showing "16:26" — the only available time slot — without any explanation, context, or basic courtesy. When we asked about other attractions, her only response was "read the papers." No help, no guidance, nothing.

At 4:00 PM, when we checked our ticket to head to the Palace, we realized she had issued us a ticket for the "State Apartments" — not the full Palace ticket we had paid for. We had purchased the most expensive option available through the Vienna Pass, and she gave us the cheapest one, seemingly out of spite or sheer indifference.

When we raised this issue at the Palace entrance, the staff member there simply said: "Not my problem — go and complain." This is an unacceptable response from anyone working in hospitality and tourism.

Visitors come to this country to learn, to experience, and to admire. Being treated with contempt and dishonesty by palace staff is not just a personal offense — it reflects poorly on Vienna as a destination. I strongly urge management to review their staff's conduct, especially during high-demand holiday periods.

We bought a two-day ticket and we were able to justify the cost. However, since many museums close early, the visits were too stressful, and we couldn't get into some exhibitions. Perhaps the three-day ticket is a better option, but since the days are consecutive, it significantly limits the trip. We also couldn't use the Hop-on Hop-off bus as it ends at 6:00 PM.
Honestly, considering the limited time available, it's not worth buying. On the other hand, we didn’t have to queue to buy tickets at each museum, which can be an advantage during peak season.
