Transparant proces
Het was een transparant proces. Het was erg fijn dat ik kon zien welke positie ik had op de wachtlijst. De medewerkers van Verhuurbeter zijn goed bereikbaar en beantwoorden snel je vragen.
Het was wel een keer voorgekomen dat er niemand van het team was tijdens een 'online bezichtiging', maar dat heb ik maar één keer meegemaakt. Verder is het een duidelijk proces waarmee ik aan een appartementje gekomen ben en kan ik het zeker aanraden.

One of the best.
I got an apartment in Amsterdam in 6 months. Honestly, I had a really great experience with VB. The team is very responsive too.
The website needs a bit of studying to get the hang of. Thats my tip to people and the VB team.
All my new rental proposals were put on the bottom, and I missed 1 period because I didnt see the input code button.
But all in all, Well Done VB team.

Transparent process
Very transparent process, which is a rarity in the Dutch housing landscape. You start on a low position on the list, and as time progresses you increase in priority until you finally get a house.
This may seem like a pain, but saves you the trouble of trying (and failing) to apply first on listings that may be rigged.

Good communication but bad UI/UX
Good communication with the team but the UI is not the best I've seen: took me 20 min to find the chat button, same for a number. Navigation within user profile is not intuitive at all either.
It'd be worth having the interface tested by people who aren't employees for feedback.
Otherwise happy with the service.

Vanaf het eerste contactmoment wist ze me op mijn gemak te stellen in een behoorlijk stressvolle periode. Ze was vriendelijk, betrokken en wist precies wat er moest gebeuren. Sasja heeft alles snel en efficiënt geregeld — binnen één maand was alles rond! Haar communicatie was helder en ze hield me voortdurend op de hoogte van de voortgang. Dankzij haar inzet en rustgevende aanpak voelde ik me gehoord en gesteund in het hele proces. Voor- en eindinspectie werd door…
Voor- en eindinspectie werd door Verhuurtbeter prima afgehandeld. Na de huuropzegging had ik meteen diezelfde week al een telefonische voorinspectie. Over het proces van de eindinspectie was de verhuurder opeens onduidelijk, maar Herman Loeff van Verhuurtbeter pakte dit zeer klantvriendelijk en flexibel op, waardoor alles volgens afspraak verliep. Prettige afhandeling en meteen het eindinspectie-rapport in de mail.

Sounds like scam
Was never able to get an apartment from them. You are supposed to pay 50euro to get into a queue of 100+ people and it is not guaranteed that you get an apartment in time. Neither is it possible to actually view the apartment, they only temporarily open an 'album with photos'

We organize online Open Houses where you can learn about the property, the complex, the location, and the surrounding area, and where you can ask questions. Together with the visual material (photos, videos, 3D), this gives you a good impression of the property.
Our approach aims to make the house search fairer, more efficient, and more transparent.
