Don't get a Faster Renting account if you're a student
I paid 55 euros for a Faster Renting account. When I attended an open house I was told that student income, or income from a Guarantor, is not counted towards the income requirement for all of their listings. I feel this was very misleading, and I paid for a service that I'm not able to receive.

We rent properties on behalf of property owners and focus on finding candidates who meet the owner's requirements. Before paying, you can use a free account to check your eligibility and whether the listing meets your needs. Almost all features are already visible here, to provide transparency and prevent disappointment.
We've designed our system to show your eligibility for each of your favorite properties in your profile card .
We try to clearly indicate in various places when it's better and better not to choose the paid (Faster Renting) account and also that we don't offer refunds.
In our FAQ, you can also find an article specifically for students, stating that we currently don't have any properties where we can help students.
If you're still willing to get in contact later, we would appreciate it. We would like to hear where the misunderstanding came from and if there is anything specific that we could have done differently.
Maybe we can still help you in the future if your situation changes!

Super useful to find a rent
Super useful to find a rent in Amsterdam. They do a very thorough check of documents and requirements, but after registering on the platform in February, I got a flat in June. No fees, they return the 55 euros once you find the rent. They are professional and helpful. All the doubts are solved by chat. I overall had a very good experience and now I have a flat to rent. As an expat, it's difficult to navigate the Amsterdam real estate, so many scams, so this platform is a life saver.

out of 224 (5 star) reviews in english, 80% of them is from users with one, or two reviews, vast majority from users with one review in total. I didn't count the ones with more reviews, only users with 1 review and 2 reviews.
If the company is deciding to reward people with refund of subscription fee to people who find the apartment, but to not refund the ones who cannot, should tell you everything about this company, and the owner. I asked refund around 20-30 minutes after I paid for it. Considering there is a clause where you waive 14 days cool off period, it is as clear as it can be that more people are asking for refunds, rather than people who actually find the apartment via this company. They rather spend energy thinking of a way to refuse refunds. If the company was any worth, this would be the last of their concerns.

before you pay, you will have to "sign" an agreement where you waive 14 day cool off period, why you may ask? because their policy is to reward with the ones who can afford it, and the ones who find a house via this website.
now think about it, how much would you care for €55 if you managed to find a decent place, for affordable price? you and probably many other would gladly pay more than 500 for such service considering at least Amsterdam market.
i fell for it, so you don't have to.
it might be suitable for people with salary higher than 2500, as with this salary, even €700 homes are not suitable because my salary is too low.
so, if your salary is higher, I don't know, it might work, but vast majority of these positive reviews are from new users with one review only. I don't know.
The company was founded in 2015, no reviews until 2019.
Their first 10 reviews, all of them in 2019, first 6 of the are same like mine. I believe that in beginning they were charging 25, so no one cared. it possibly that in 2019, they increased the price, so reviews started to appear.
After 6th review there were 3 the most generic fake reviews ever. If someone leaves a positive review somewhere, and that is their only review, this should not be considered.
it is possible that they rent to someone once a year just to keep the "business" going, but i seriously doubt it.
I am at the moment user of this service, and all I got is AI generated replies via chat, where I didn't think for a second that these names are real.
03-06 edit: the owner is probably texting you pretending he is a different person to give you a vibe of a call centre, just doing their job, declining refunds. Even 1 star hotels have grace period and they refund you if you ask for it within an hour, or even 24h.
I checked on linked-in of a person who is marked as they are working there, but 21 connections, it looks fake and AI made. the same as a "her" other social media, looks fake. it could be all one person sending these AI generated replies and then hiring contractors when he needs a female voice on the phone.

We checked the whole process and our logfiles for you and since you started with our FREE account end 2025 and took the paid account May this year, our system prompted you during the FREE period IF your income fits, without incurring costs. This is exactly the reason that we offer the free account. We understand that we cannot make everyone happy, but we rest assured that we also help many others to their full satisfaction.

Finding a house only three weeks after…
Finding a house only three weeks after registering on the system was truly impressive. The entire process was handled in a very clear, transparent, and organized way, which made things much easier for us.
We also managed to resolve the small documentation issues quickly together with Kim and successfully completed the process. Overall, I was more satisfied with the experience than I expected.
