Velit’s technical support is unmatched and their products are simple while being efficient and reliable. I run both their diesel heater and 12 volt AC in my van and had some issues with my heater due to some installation hiccups and the technical support was above and beyond. Stoked to continue my travels with the peace of mind reliable products brings! Absolutely recommend

My Velit 12V roof mounted AC unit is a fabulous piece of kit at a very reasonable price. Customer support is also excellent. I was unclear as to when the unit might arrive but a quick email to support put me in touch with the delivery team who were able to tell me the item had been dispatched. It arrived the next day.
The unit was securely packed in an outer plywood crate (I used the plywood to build a new electric set up board and storage tray to sit above my battery bay) with an inner cardboard box with plentiful foam padding.
Installation was straightforward and I was able to do it single handedly only enlisting help to lift the unit on top of the van. The instruction suggest fitting the mounting threaded rods to the bottom of the unit prior to placing the unit on the van roof but this would mean maneuvering a very heavy unit with four very spikey rods protruding below across the roof of the van. I did not want to risk the potential damage so installed them afterwards from below. This did mean I was unable to fit the locking nuts but I simply used thread locking compound instead. Once installed, the unit worked perfectly from the first press of the button.
My "even better ifs" would be a choice of black or white for the interior surfaces of the unit. I specified a white unit for my white van but the interior control panel and trim are still black which does not go well with the light theme in my van, a heating option as available on some competitor's models and a set of intermediate length threaded rods. I had to fit the longer rods and cut them down which was an awkward and messy job inside the van. However, these are minor niggles. It is a great product that I thoroughly recommend.

My experience with the company was only for a minor issue but resolved on the spot. issue was me misplacing install information. packgage arrived quicker than I expected. the 2000U aircon test well but as of writing this have not being able to fully tested it as we are in the middle of winter in South Australia

After a long wait due to back orders, I final got my Velit heater installed. It works perfectly and is a great addition to my van.
Next I would like to install the Velit 3 a/c but will wait until the usual bugs are worked out ….unless Velit would like me to test one
And do an extensive review. It is the perfect fit for a van, still having an exhaust fan and an a/c in one package. I use my exhaust fan mostly but when we get these more frequent heat waves an ac is a must since I travel with my dog.

I made multiple calls for help after the purchase. The phone was answered every time, and I was provided help I needed.

AC arrived with a bad control board, replacement was not shipped when promised, replacement board arrived, installed and then the evaporater fan immediately failed. Slow to refund. I will never install another velit which is bad since I install 2 dozen or more 12v ac units per year.

For almost 2 years since installing a 2000R AC 12v unit on the roof of my van I’d have said the product was 5-star, until it broke down now that it’s summer in full swing in Yuma, AZ. I’ve begged their customer support for help and it’s like herding cats. At most, they sent me a part I paid for and it still would t work. I’m stuck in 108+ degree heat living full time in this van and they simply do not answer a phone or return calls/texts/LinkedIn messages, and emails are responded to painfully slow, if at all.
I’ve reached the limit of my patience and cannot warn people enough against this company. I know their reputation was well earned previously, now they’ve proven they simply don’t GAF, so that’s $2k I’ve wasted and now need to pay twice as much for a better solution.

Product is top notch. Works well out of the box

We bought the 2000R air conditioner in April 2025. It is now May 2026 and is no longer working. We were told we needed a new control panel which was $200. We are now waiting for that to come in to see if it will work. Very disappointed in this product as it was only used a few months last summer. Will not purchase this brand again

I have had a few issues with the heater, which seem to be more related to the set up than the device itself. Customer service, especially Raleigh, has been incredibly responsive and helpful. I took my van to their location in Renton and Raleigh brought his tools out and fixed up the gas line problem and gave me a new thermostat. No problems since. Thank you!

Have an A-Liner, both of their side wall units didn't last, so looking for something better that doesn't stick out of the side of my RV, this fits nicely/snugly in the dead space under out bed, I used the remote mounting controls which worked out nice, some work to route the cold side supplies but their guy Raleigh was a big help, one caution, if you use their extension harness, it can be cross plugged at corner of the unit (not polarized nor pin gender reversed for power) but Deepak helped me sort that out...simple controls, cold air almost immediately, surprisingly quiet (I did mount it on isolators but unit itself seems pretty quite), really happy with unit and install now...I would recommend it, it was the Velit under bench unit.

The company was fast to respond, helped troubleshoot, and got me the replacement part I needed right away!

It shipped fast, packed in a wood box with metal edges and cardboard box outside that. The AC works well and fit in the fan hole I removed, with just a little adjustment. I had an issue with the trim mount and although they couldn't find a solution, they we're very responsive.

Your google advertisement states 30 day free returns and the company I bought the unit from wants to get a surcharge for returning the merchandise. I returned the product directly to the distributor and stopped payment. I paid for the postage almost $200. and my credit card company hasn’t resolved the issue after 2 months. No way to treat your customers. Order#6531
