I have only just received the computer so it is early days, but the speed of delivery and the condition of it is exemplary. It seems to be working fine.

Great little Dell laptop arrived very…
Great little Dell laptop arrived very well-packed and - most importantly - with Windows XP installed. This will be travelling around sundry building sites with me so the packaging will be very useful.
After my last laptop died, I was thrilled to discover that I could still get a replacement. I have tried more modern design software, but cannot find anything better - hence the need for XP.

Product information is incorrect
After specifically choosing a laptop that had an internal DVDRW optical drive, we were very disappointed when it arrived and we couldn't see any place to insert discs. Upon phoning Val-U-Computers I was told that the model we ordered (Dell Latitude 5480) is too new to have an optical drive and the information on the website must have been a typo.
Having done much online research and waiting a week for delivery only to be so disappointed is a real let down. Val-U-Computers has emailed a free return label and promised a full refund.

bought my laptop there a year ago and it was excellent service then and still is a year later when i had to ring and ask for help re antivirus.. spoke to Kurtis who was patient and so helpful.. saved me money and time and worry.. thanks guys!!

Computer seems OK so far
Computer seems OK so far. Cosmetically good. Had a floppy drive which was a bonus. Prompt delivery. Screws for monitor connection missing only criticism to date.

Avoid this company
Avoid this company. They send out faulty laptops. They also remove serial numbers before sending them out and don't send out the model they advertise.

Thanks for your review. We cant find any details of you on our system?? In order to help you if you have a fault with your laptop, give us a call on 01603 722768. You get a 14 day money back guarantee and a minimum 6 months warranty. Were very friendly and 29 years in the business of supplying refurbished computer equipment. If youve received a different model, the only reason for that would be weve sent an upgraded/newer version. As for removing the serial numbers, were not selling stolen Rolexs??? we have no reason to remove the serial number ??? Maybe try looking under the base panel or worst case serial numbers are always detailed in the bios registry. Look forward to hearing from you.
