When I was going through my appeal process I used a solicitor. I was being pushed around so much by the respondent and needed advice. They charged me thousands to take my file and read it and then did nothing. I have learnt more in one session with the wonderful Michelle at Valla. She has allowed me to see that I need to take back control of my case. All I can say is try them. Yes it costs money. But it is money well spent.

Dealing with a claim against your employer is an emotionally exhausting process. Danae and the team were able to be a sympathetic ear but also provide information on how I could navigate my own tribunal process. I had been through a similar situation previously and felt lost and powerless. With Valla I regained my power and navigated the ACAS process well. I received a settlement and did not have to go to Tribunal but I would have used Valla's product to build up my case if it had gotten that far.

Avoid this company at all costs. Took my money and didn;t provide the service for which I paid them. Let me down and left me stranded at the last minute, with no list of legal and factual issues. When I complained to them they ignored me.

Response to message below from Danae: We contracted for a list of legal and factual issues. I paid $180.00 for this service as I was quoted this would take 3 hours. The first person you assigned did not do this. Instead used up two hours of my time providing a useless opinion regarding my case. You left me stranded at the last minute with no functional list of legal and factual issues. I do not under the Data Protection act 2018/GDPR consent to you processing anymore of my information. To clarify when I tried to sort this matter with you, you sent me an email advising you would no longer respond. You let me down at every step from my first contact with Valla to leaving me in the lurch without a list of legal and factual issues. Valla told the Merchant bank that they sent me an email to try and resolve the matter of which you then claimed I did not respond. That is not true I did respond and I have the email to prove it. You only got your money because Valla lied and due to the fact that I never received the Merchant Bank letter requesting a response to Valla's false claims, that I never responded to your email.

I would recommend Valla to anyone going through an employment issue. Even if you can afford a solicitor, I would say that your money is much better spent with the help, guidance and templates from Valla.

I signed up for the Preliminary Hearing package and was assigned Smaira as my coach. I do not know what I would have done without Smaira’s help and support. She assisted with the agenda and issues but more than that she was amazing at calming me down and preparing me for what to expect at the PH.
Smaira grasped my case really quickly and offered knowledgable, professional help and guidance. The advice was far better than that provided by the solicitor I initially engaged. I will be signing up for more coaching sessions with Smaira and I could not recommend Valla or Smaira highly enough. Thank you.

One day I stumbled across Valla on tiktok talking about discrimination. My partner was being discriminated against at work for over a yr.
He has long covid, long haulers. Classed as disabled by his medical professionals and occupational health. The company failed to put in reasonable adjustments and gave him a final warning for sickness. It was at the time of the letter we found valla. We quickly realised by their videos, live seminars that he had a case.
We are no in negotiations, although they refused to while his grievance took place.
They admitted several failings and didn't use the Bradford factor correctly. My partner had gotten to a point of exhaustion that I've never seen in a person, all due to his job.
Valla thank you for the amazing advice and helping so many. Without you we wouldn't have known just how serious of a case he had.

I was experiencing some unpleasant issues with my employer that had been going on for some time. I found Valla via tiktok and thought I would get in touch with them.

From the very first interaction, I started to feel better as it really felt for the first time that someone was on my side.

I purchased a couple of letter templates, filled them in and then booked a meeting with one of the Valla team.

I was listened to very sympathetically. I was also given really good advice.

I then submitted my letters to my employer - within a very short timescale they came back to me with very acceptable outcome. I can’t go into details for obvious reasons. But the templates, meeting and ongoing support resulted in the best possible outcome for me.

The team at Valla gave me much more control over the situation than if I had tried to go it alone.

A really excellent service. I cannot recommend Valla enough.
