Great info and felt as if the sales person was engaged in my wants and needs

Pleasant staff who gave a prompt response to a telephone enquiry requesting to extend the holiday to add 2 nights at stopover destination either side of our tour.

Information about group size is a bit vague as is the length of the journey at each stage. I had to research with the airline to establish how long our journey from UK to Japan might be and discovered that we would be travelling for 22 hrs! (It might be fine for some, but I didn't want to start our tour too weary to enjoy the experience). Hence request for stopover /add on.
More information in the itinerary would be appreciated about journey times/duration and probable start times.

The combination of visits and free time was excellent, as Sirmione where we were based is ideally located to travel to many other places on both sides of Lake Garda. The organised visits to both Venice and Verona were great with very knowledgeable local guides and in Venice, we had a seamless transition from motor boat to guided tour, to private gondola ride, before having time to experience 'cichetti', Venice's picky bits! Delicious. The hotel in Sirmione was wonderful, particularly the food, wellness/pool facilities and friendliness of staff and while our room wasn't particularly aesthetically pleasing, everything worked and the quiet was much appreciated. A further visit to Malcesine, a lovely lakeside historical town, included a cable car ride up Monte Baldo, organised individually - well worth it.
On a slightly negative note, there was a lot of transferring between trains, quite a bit of coach travel including the arduous and stressful transfer from Gare de Nord to Gare de Lyon and vice versa at the beginning and end of the trip and two very early starts. Our tour manager wasn't conversant with the area so couldn't offer first hand ideas of places to go to on 'days off', though Sirmione has much to offer, including a castle, and ruins going back to Roman times.
Overall, it was a tremendous trip with a great group of 27 people and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

I did my booking online but it was a VERY POOR process.
although the website thanked me for booking I never received a confirmation/booking number.
I had to call to get it resolved and get my conformation info emailed to me.
Then a few days later I received an email asking if I was still interested in booking a trip. That tells me that you still don't see me as a customer who HAS ALREADY BOOKED A TRIP. VERY CONCERNING!!!!

I booked on telephone. Adele was most helpful and answered any questions very well. She was most polite and efficient.

Still trying to get GRJ to correct the DOB for one of the travelers on the reservation. It’s been more than 4 days since an email was sent requesting the correction.

Your website gives option to get a call from someone & I still haven’t had my call back after 2 days.
We had 2 other couples book at the same time & one asked for call back as well & that hasn’t happened. It also isn’t clear about cancellation policy & the need for insurance. After booking the page disappears so quickly you have to hope you’ll get a confirmation… which arrived after about an hour… I feel like the web booking experience could be improved
