1. We booked a package with Marriott Vacations consisting of a week at the Westin Punta Cana + a car rental for the same period, with Budget.
2. Upon arriving at the Budget counter at the airport on December 14, 2024, they told me that they hadn't received a voucher from Marriott Vacations; they only got the reservation details but no voucher saying that it had been prepaid.
3. Before proceeding with the rental, I called Marriott Vacations, and they instructed me to take the car and allow them to block the rental amount from my credit card (USD 315.61), and promised that, before we returned the car (December 21), Marriott Vacations would send Budget the voucher and sort things out, so that the charge would be reversed.
4. Since then, I received multiple e-mails from Marriott Vacations saying that they were working on the problem, but the fact of the matter is, by the time we returned the car the issue hadn't been resolved, and until today - one month from our trip - the charge still shows in my credit card.
