I've bought 4 sets of tires over the years. Today they gave me a 10 year old tire and wouldn't take it back. They said they "visually inspected it." People die when tires separate and every tire company says that 10 years old is unsafe at any speed.

I had a very poor experience with UTire. If you’re not 100% sure about the exact tire specifications (size, tread depth, etc.), I strongly recommend not ordering from them.

They charge a $30 return shipping fee if the tire is incorrect and you choose not to purchase a replacement from them. On top of that, you still have to pay around $50 for installation and balancing. By the time everything is done, you end up losing a significant portion of your money.

Customer service was also disappointing—unhelpful and rude, which made the whole situation even more frustrating.

In my opinion, it’s much better to go to a local shop—whether for new or used tires—where you can see the product in person and have it installed on the spot.

Overall, I would not recommend this service.

Really cheap tire came worked good. The only problem was there was a delivery patch up and they didn’t take accountability for it. I need it to be on the phone with FedEx for a while without them telling me anything what’s going on that the delivery failed when I asked for a refund they said no.

Please do NOT buy tires from this company if you value your time, money, and safety.

They sounded professional on the phone, and I specifically requested pricier, high-quality used tires with no patches and good tread. Unfortunately, one of the tires failed almost immediately and went completely flat late at night, leaving me stranded.

It was close to midnight, and I had to figure out how to get home, find a ride, and then rearrange my entire weekend to deal with the situation. It was stressful, inconvenient, and completely avoidable.

The next day, a mechanic found a large hole in the tire, and I had to replace it with a brand-new one.

When I contacted the company, they told me to ship the defective tire back — putting even more time and effort on me — and showed no concern for the situation or the safety risk it caused. They simply pointed to their return policy, taking no responsibility for selling a faulty product that led to so much stress and safety risk.

Their claims about inspecting tires are clearly not true. With a policy like their’s, they simply lose nothing by selling defective products and the clients interests are not protected in any way.

Do yourself a favor — go somewhere reliable like Walmart or Costco for peace of mind and safety. This company won’t care when things go wrong

Same experience that others have mentioned. Sidewall leak on one of 4 tires. Hid behind policy and wouldn't solve the problem they created. I was left without a car for a week over Christmas. Solved my own problem by renting a car. No compensation from Utires at all.

Buyer beware, if any of the tires have a problem you will be up a creek without a paddle. And they won't help you find a paddle.

United Tires has no integrity, no accountability, and no concept of customer service. They hide behind “policy” instead of doing what’s right.

I bought a set of two matching tires, sold as a single product. One arrived defective with a sidewall leak, making the entire set useless. Their “solution”? Replace one tire with a different brand (leaving me with mismatched tires) or refund both but only reimburse half of my installation cost because “only one” was defective.

That logic is absurd. I didn’t buy two individual tires…I bought one set. Both were installed together, and because one was defective, the whole set was worthless. I shouldn’t have to eat half the installation cost for a product that was defective from the start (and I’m not even factoring in the extra cost to dismount and remount new tires).

Their website proudly claims every tire is inspected and tested before shipping, yet clearly that’s not true. Otherwise, how would a tire with a major sidewall leak pass “inspection”? They clearly just buy and flip tires without real testing.

The most telling part of this company’s low standards is that the person handling my case was their Chief Customer Officer, Brian Collins. How does someone with that title refuse to take responsibility or do right by the customer? I’m a repeat buyer too, but loyalty means nothing to this company.

For the minimal cost of doing the right thing, United Tires would rather show no accountability, no ethics, and no respect for their customers.

Save yourself the frustration and extra expense by buying tires somewhere else. Otherwise, you’ll end up paying more to fix the mistakes they refuse to own.

Under no circumstance should anyone ever purchase from this company. I will leave a more detailed review later, but it's actually shocking and frightening the lengths to which they will go to screw you over, manipulate you and the public, and jerry rig the situation to maintain an appearance of popularity and positive reviews. Please know that any positive reviews are either bots OR they have withheld a refund or replacement in exchange for a positive review, which on most platforms you cannot change once you've agreed. And once you give them a positive review in exchange for a replacement, they will send you the wrong item and then ghost you. DO NOT ORDER. PLEASE.

I've made #2 purchases of #4 tires or #8 tires total. Both times I got much more for my money than anywhere else I've found online or locally. They ship for free and they ship really fast. I'll be furthering my total satisfaction of UTires vocally to whoever brings up needing tires from now on.

Ordered a set of four tires from UTires. One of them turned out to be defective, but I didn’t find out until after I paid to have them mounted. Because of that one bad tire, I had to unmount all four and return the full set.

UTires admitted the tire was damaged and accepted the return, but they refused to cover any of the extra costs I had to deal with. That includes the mounting, the unmounting, and the FedEx packaging I had to pay for because they only sent me two labels for four tires and gave me no instructions.

Every time I asked them to do the right thing, they just repeated the same thing about their policy. No accountability. No real help.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. If anything goes wrong with your order, you’re going to be stuck with the bill.

United Tires sent me a tire with an unrepairable hole in it. After initially refusing to honor my request to replace the tire or refund my money, I initiated a formal eBay return process which compelled them to refund my money. They requested I send back the tire but at my own cost, a cost that initially exceeded the value of my refund. They then said that if I wanted them to refund my money without forcing me to incur additional shipping costs, I must change my review of them to be positive. I refused.

It would seem to me to be deeply dishonest and abusive to force a customer to issue a positive review as a condition for getting a refund. This considering that a seller should not sell an obviously unusable product in the first place, an act I have come to realize from reading other reviews is common United Tires practice.

This place scammed me. I bought a set of tires from them on eBay. They claim the tires are triple checked so on and so forth.
I received my tires, 3 of 4 were missing the acoustic foam insert (Tesla tires). Then I finally had them installed and the next morning two were flat. How the hell are these tires checked even once? How can you not notice the giant foam pad that’s in one of them, but not the three others? How can you inspect these tires and not notice holes and two of them? How is this company in business. just lies and false claims.

United Tire (Utire) advertise the following which is very misleading “We sell 100% functioning tires, free of leaks and damages. Each tire undergoes a thorough inspection both when it’s added to our inventory and before being shipped out”
What they don’t guarantee in their 100% is that the tires are even across the whole tread. One tire I received the mechanic advised against install as an uneven tread will have a negative effect. Buyer beware. It’s a shame they seem to be doing a lot right, easy to order, prices seem good and delivery quick but this one tire and their refund of $25 and refusal to replace without me paying the cost to return the tire I will never use has lost a future customer

Used tires are really hit or miss. One other I used was the same, but I found some new tires from this seller that have been good so far, and the tires I got were a good brand.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! WORTHLESS WARRANTY! I purchased (2) high end, pre-owned tires from them via their website on EBAY to put on a car that was being returned at the end of the lease term. Both tires came with multiple patch repairs but the company guaranteed them so I had them professionally installed. One of the tires received developed a leak in a patched area less than a week later, which cannot be fixed! This seller has put me thru hell! Make a long story short, they do not have an acceptable replacement tire to send me and have offered an account credit only if I return the tire. Problem is, when I had their tires installed, the old tires were scrapped and I have nothing to put on the car to return their junk tire to receive a refund! BUYER BEWARE AND SHOP ELSEWHERE!
