Haven't used it yet. Spent our own money to set it up per your suggestion of holding off on the set up package until we've ridden several miles
The video support was pretty helpful. The tech support person had some great tips, but didn't know a couple of things specific to the Giant Reign. I had to look them up myself later. One key feature was one I asked the tech person about, and he didn't know. But, it was awesome to find our later that when powering up the bike and Blue light comes on for the Assist Level, that means you are in Automatic Assist mode and don't have to manually change assist levels. That truly makes riding this bike a dream.
