I’m writing to report an unpleasant interaction I had with a UPS driver today.
The driver had parked in a way that completely blocked the parking lot, making it difficult for others to enter or exit. I politely asked him if he could move his vehicle forward to allow space, which I believe was a reasonable request given the situation.
However, instead of responding professionally, the driver appeared visibly irritated and looked at me as though I had inconvenienced him. He did not acknowledge the disruption caused, nor did he offer even a simple apology. The interaction felt unnecessarily dismissive and unprofessional.
I understand that delivery work can be demanding, but basic courtesy and awareness of shared spaces are important, especially in situations that affect multiple people.
I hope this feedback can be used to reinforce the importance of respectful and professional conduct in such situations.
They are really quite terrible
They are really quite terrible. Their phone agent will tell anything to close the case but do not follow up and whatever is said nothing is done. Their delivery people do not knock or use doorbell. They just leave a proper and go. Any other delivery service is better than them.
UPS... more like Useless POS
Worse service alive!! I would, like many reviewers on here give them no star if I could. They keep using "severe weather delay" even though it's been sunny or light rain here. It's been stuck in place at a nearby depot & there's no way in hell am I going to be made to go pick it up myself unless they want to get yelled at.
And don't even get me started with this useless AI BS. One of the worst "inventions" alive. Not helpful, gives incoherent answers, doesn't get me to the right place. I wish I had an option to go with another mail service provider but this company doesn't offer it!!

UPS is Unreliable
As a small business customer that relies on overnight shipments to customers, I can say that we are continuously disappointed with UPS. Regular delays. Terrible customer service that takes an endless amount of time to deal with when there is a problem. You often do not get the service you pay for. Booking express overnight? Don’t expect any compensation for delays even their internal issues were the cause. Added extra insurance? Doesn’t matter. Unfortunately, they seem to own the rate lane from bc to alberta.

The package tracker does not give a good window on when to receive packages. I was waiting at my front door for hours, just for the package to be delayed. Then when I went for a quick 2 minute bathroom break; the driver already came and left.
The left the sticky note saying my package was left at a UPS Access Point, just for me to call and ask, and they are telling me the driver is reattempting a delivery again. I did not get alerts to my email or phone number even though I signed up for them.
UPS needs to stop being so vague about its delivery practices and actually give a better idea of when to expect delivery. It is ridiculous.
Always a disappointment
So far this year, every single time I have had the unfortunate luck of a shipper choosing to select UPS as the carrier, my shipments have arrived late. This is unique to UPS, and I haven't had this issue with any other companies. Today I was expecting two deliveries by UPS, and just like all of the previous shipments this year, halfway through the day their website updates with a "severe weather delay" scan. They clearly abuse this scan to buy an extra day or two because there is never severe weather in my city when this scan occurs, and the shipments are already sitting in the destination sort facility. They must not have adequate resources and staffing, or they simply do not care enough to fulfill their set delivery dates. Either way, they are a continuous disappointment and I expect their reputation will continue to suffer, and rightfully so. I may write to the shippers directly, as UPS should be losing business for their poor service.
**UPDATE: I can't believe it - my next door neighbor had their package delivered by UPS today (my expected delivery date), yet my packages were delayed for "severe weather". Ridiculous.

Claiming severe weather delays. This has happened the last 2 times i’ve had a delivery by UPS. It seems that this is the go to response when they mess up your delivery. It’s a Toronto to Vancouver delivery. UPS is about as bad as Canada post these days

And once again they don't deliver. This time the package was to be delivered on Tuesday March 31, then I got a notification that it was rescheduled to be delivered on Wednesday April 1. Then on Tuesday March 31 I got another notification that the package was undeliverable because they couldn't get a signature, she was home all day. So I called and was told they would escalate it and have it delivered. Tonight, it still wasn't delivered so I called again and was told it was never escalated but they would escalate it to make sure it would be delivered. They should change their name to Useless Piece of Shit!
Horrible delivery experience
Horrible delivery experience, unresponsive support and nobody is interested in helping you out when trying to solve the problem with your delivery.
UPS My Choice algorithm of no use
I had signed up for UPS My Choice in order to redirect packages to a UPS Access Point near me, because UPS does not ship to rural addresses. A business sent several packages via UPS without asking for additional notes from me as far as delivery goes. All I've got are UPS tracking numbers. When I use the UPS website (via the "My Choice" login) to try to change delivery to the Access Point, I keep getting asked to register for 'My Choice". I am already registered! The unhelpful chatbot is of no use; trying to contact a human is just about impossible. Past conversations with UPS are just "we are sorry", with no provisions going forward to fix this ongoing issue.
UPS wins the Oscar for the worst delivery company.
They literally had my package for one minute and then marked it as delayed. I requested a phone three times on the app never received a call back. I would never choose UPS. The delivery driver for my area is useless, has claimed my house is an apartment building so he won’t deliver without an apartment number. He has also complained to my elderly mother in law about the weight of a package when she asked him to put it in the door. He has left packages at the edge of my porch where the wind blows it into the slush in the driveway. UPS is the absolute worst company.
Poor delivery
They came into the mail room in our condo building and left a note saying undeliverable! We were at home, knowing it was to be delivered that day.
Instead, they took the package to a drop off point where we had to pick it up ourselves.
Why didn't UPS deliver our parcel since they were on site anyway?
Lame Excuses
This is the 2nd parcel in the last few months that they don’t seem to be able to deliver. Despite it being one hour away they constantly site “Extreme weather conditions“ as their excuse. We have not had bad weather. 4 days now they say out for delivery, but it never shows up.

UPS should stand for useless parcel service or maybe unreliable parcel service. My package was delayed for three days after they said they received it and was being sent out for delivery. Then got message that it was delayed by bad weather. No bad weather between my location and where the package was supposed to be. Called customer service. Didn't know where it was. Called several times. Got the runaround from agents reading a scripted response. Absolutely pathetic! Oh yeah, almost forgot. Still waiting for package.

I try my best to arrange alternate shipping when retailers use ups.
Unfortunately sometimes that doesn't work.... ups cod. 1149 purchase. 332 in fees, that they couldn't tell me what they were. "Other fees" all it said. No terrifs just a shitty, company that takes advantage of the public. (Never had this issue with usps or fedex)

If I could I would give it zero stars . The laziest delivery drivers. Very very dishonest employees and company. They never deliver packages on the promised dates or times and always take back saying no one answered the phone while the customer is waiting all day for their delivery glued to the phone. It is extremely difficult to get any help from their customer service and they have the worst delivery drivers no morals no work ethic . They need to be investigated for fraud. How many packages they take back and how many times they fake deliver the same package. The workers hired by UPS are literally criminals and do not do the work they collect pay cheques for . Please reduce their salaries when they lying and are dishonest!!!

UPS has never delivered anything to me…
UPS has never delivered anything to me on time or without some delay. Right up until 9 pm on the scheduled day, it'll say "arriving today", and then get rescheduled to the next day, and then arrive days later. If I were this bad at my job, I'd have been fired a long time ago.
