The Unique Maps Co. Anmeldelser

My order was fulfilled quickly and exactly. It was a pleasure to do business with them. My map was delivered in plenty of time for my husband’s birthday.

The best part of Unique Maps is what they offer. I was looking for an old world map for my wife as a gift and found Gleason's map. It was a great find for her! The quality of the print and the customer service are icing on the cake. I'll likely be buying another one in the not too distant future.

Ordered a framed relief map of Wales before Christmas. Great personal service, came back to check a couple of requirements. Delivered safely packaged. Even friendly follow up to confirm all happy.

I had many questions before I purchased from them. They were quick with responses, kind, and worked with me when my request was a little difficult. Overall fantastic experience!

The map, the quality and the service was superb. Also I have a little issue and they resolved the problem kindly and fast.
I recommend it uf you are searching for something unique with excelent customer support.

The map looks great, especially now it’s been framed. Really pleased with this purchase!

I ordered a 1904 Worlds Fair map for someone for Christmas. Both the recipient and I are exceedingly happy with the purchase! It is a very classy gift for a history buff from the St. Louis area! He is proudly displaying this beautiful map in his home. I received this map in time for Christmas and it was in perfect condition. Many thanks for a great artistic gift!

Awesome customer support. My husband wanted another map instead of the one I bought to him as a gift and unique maps just put on the table all the facilitéis to make it happend.
100% recommended, the quality and the maps are TOP.

Outstanding effective service.
The seller is enthusiastic, knowledgable and reliable with an interesting unusual range of stock.

This is a great company. Communication and service are top notch, and the products are beautifully produced and packaged. Shipping was easy, too. Highly recommended.

The map was perfect, arrived in great time and was loved by the person I gifted it to. Would absolutely buy a map from you again, it's a fantastic gift!

Lovely product and great communication from customer service

very professional and serious company. The maps are printed fastly and in high quality, I love the map I've bought! I hope they keep increasing the collection of maps in their stock, especially for european countries and Italy from medieval until 1800's

I purchased a large, framed personalized map on 12/2/2025, a few weeks in advance of the Christmas order deadline. The title of the product is "Personalized 3D US Topographical Map." The map, which included a frame, cost $445 USD. My map arrived at least one week late. The company told me they were doing all that they can and blamed delays on "couriers," but I received a subsequent email saying that my map didn't go into "production" until a day or two before Christmas. The final map also did not include a portion of the "personalization" promised. The frame is not impressive in any way. But those are not the reasons for my review. If it were just those things, I would chalk it up to bad customer service, but there is something much more abusive going on here. This company is vastly misrepresenting the product on the website. I received a completely "flat" map of the area that I requested. There is no "unique 3D shading technique" to give it depth and definition whatsoever. It looks absolutely nothing like the website examples. I completely understand that these folks don't actually print 3D maps, but I received a completely boring, not exceptionally well framed poster print for nearly $500. I reached out requesting a refund. Having received no response whatsoever, I followed up several times over the course of two weeks. I finally received a response after adding in all the email addresses I could find and sending my email again. They offered to "fix" the part of the personalization that was missing, but I have no interest in showcasing a large poster print in my home, particularly when it reminds me of this terrible experience. I am writing this review because I read the Trust Pilot reviews before making this investment. For reference, I believe that they rely on the "Please note" section (I've copied it below) to allay complaints such as mine, but as you can see within in the full context of the description, along with the images, the fact that the company relies on this as a "disclaimer" is very telling. I make a living out of reading between the lines of disclaimers, and I felt personally shocked at this level of misrepresentation. Hopefully this helps someone.

This is what the website says:
"Bring the landscape to life: literally.

With this custom map, we’ll take an authentic USGS topographical map and apply our Unique 3D shading technique to give it real depth and definition. Mountains appear to rise, valleys sink, and the terrain takes on a sculptural look — a striking fusion of vintage cartography and modern design.

Please note: while these maps appear to be very 3D, they are actually 2D, printed on your choice of archival paper or artist's canvas."

I embarked on a quest to acquire a map which detailed a particular Edwardian house built in 1913. Unique Maps delivered, exceeding my expectations. As one may imagine I had many questions, nothing was too much trouble. I am now in possession of a beautiful map.

A Unique service indeed.

Thank you

This is a brilliant UK based company! Bought a global map of horse breeds (it’s better than it sounds) and my daughter loves it! It looks antique and is beautifully drafted. A great gift and it landed very well for Xmas. Need to get it framed now!

Excellent communication; fast delivery; a truly fine map (indistinguishable from the original); highly recommended!

Great product and a professional service. I would recommend the Unique Maps Co. to anyone. I have purchased from them twice now and have been very satisfied with my orders.

My boyfriend loves the map I got him of the Battle of Trafalgar, it is proudly displayed on his study wall, he was so pleased with this gift. The map is beautiful and great quality, and was dispatched very promptly, especially as it was the lead up to Christmas. The communication from Sebastian was also great, I’ll definitely be buying again.

Fantastic communication and knowledgeable support on customising the map I had requested as a gift. The finished framed map was of a very high standard , which was very well received as an original and stylish gift.
Would absolutely recommend
