A few years ago I switched from the Dealership where I bought my new business VW, to UltraTune EAST BENTLEIGH over a spat with VW over a part that failed and shouldn't have. Originally, the East Bentleigh crew were OK, but things started to go wrong. Ultimately, an oil leak developed. My luck changed dramatically when Christian and his team took over the Franchise, then things started to run as it should. Christian and his team went above and beyond to fix the oil leak that the prior Franchisee created and failed to fix. These guys tried their best FOUR times without charge when it wasn't their mistake. Ultimately, we had to bite the bullet and replace the sump, but even then, the Team there looked after my car. I cannot recommend these guys enough. These guys know their stuff and are excellent to deal with. I'd recommend everyone in the area to try them out.

Killara Ultratune have serviced my car for several years. They are not very chatty but DO get the job done reliably and as promised at a fair price. They also helped me deal with another mechanic who had done a terrible and unsafe job. I would highly recommend.

I went to Ultra Tunes in Seven hills at 9 am Thursday 9/2/2023 to have my brakes checked for my Subaru Forester AWD 2012 model.
I was told that I needed new brake pads & brake linings & rotors for my AWD Subaru Forester CGW88Y car.
The Rotor Motors I can see now are priced retail at $ 24.40 while the better Bosch quality is retailed at twice that price and available in the market. Being unable to read small print, I realised only afterwards that neither brands were specified on the receipt. I realised this only after reaching home.
Even the Greenlander Colo tyres came at an exorbitant price which I did not need.
I paid an extra $ 70 for fitting each tyre.
I pleaded with them after going back that this may have been a honest mistake but I was forced to pay for the tyre fitting… I have never ever paid for fitting as the tyre price is integral and all inclusive. At my age I’m shocked as they will not admit this unusual behaviour by a national franchise called Ultra Tunes run privately by the Kalra family.
They refused to hear me out. Granted I did not take a written or oral quote before the so-called repair.
And this is not the first time. I accepted a similar event on 21 Feb 2022 for the same problem without demur …as I look back. I have paid for my implicit trust in the Kalras.
There is no fool like an old fool like me who was taken for a ride and so gullible and helpless a state pensioner at age 75.
I went after local recommendations and I’m sorry that this happened to a law abiding citizen who can go to the Fair Trading Ombudsman….The whole attitude was dismal & shoddy considering that I was known to him via George, a local fruit & veg trader.
It is customary to be overcharged but not to this extent.

Crows nest. Most arrogant, rude, racist person I've ever encountered. Booked my car in for a minor repair only to be told " I'm not interested in fixing your problem, this is the issue with YOU people. You think you can save money in bringing it here. It's a Friday. There is nothing in it for me. Avoid at all cost.

Ultratune Eight mile plains Queensland a most disappointing experience. Never been there before. Only there as my regular store had phone issues so thought I would do my service at Eight Miles Plains.

Extremely aggressive attitude from I assume the manager at desk. Didn't want to help and wasn't helpful in any form. Immediately got to the point I had to say " we don't like each other do we?" Never had this attitude from the other Ultratune store before. Definitely didn't feel I can trust this person. This is not a racial slur as I am Asian and this person was Asian. Don't know where this came from?
Please do not book at this place! I am preparing to make an official complaint as it was that bad.

Great customer service, very well priced then other mechanics that charged me . I would 100% recommend Rhianna and her team at Ultra Tune East

Asked for to check grinding in rear brakes check timing belt and fan belt and handbrake got a oil change I didn't ask for brakes not fixed at first instance just can't trust them

had our car to get aircon regas after week cost $198 still no air con call in shop today 30/01/2023 dick behind desk you must have a hole in air con ,we dont check for that but we can get somebody in to do and if so will cost a lot of money mate what a joke ,lived here for 45years dont go near them we never will and tell everyone not to

Ultra Tune Knox was recommended to me by a friend. I received exemplary service. John provided me with detailed explanations and updates. With precision knowledge the problem was diagnosed and solved with my car.

I do not recommend this company had a bad experience, damage to my Classic Car, Plus unsatisfactory Damage Adjuster Bolt plus was booked in to see why Engine light was on Wrong diagnosis saying it was high idle , it was a code that fix it by other mechanic, Tyre rotate other mechanic pick up hadn’t been done and was charged , request but damaged the bolt. Struts replaced with only one bumper stop , When I booked in I spoke to Andrew and he organizes parts and booked in my car. At the time he was not the owner as head office informed me , But he was the only person that I dealt with and paid him near $350. First visit and over $700 second visit Andrew tried to charge me for the bolt that was damaged. I have received new Bolts and $150 But unfortunately all the lies that the work damaged was before he was the Owner. Andrew was working there and he is the only person that seem to be Managing. Needed battery replacement under warranty - could not have been more helpful and came out same day to do it with no problems at all - fantastic customer service!

Nerang - I needed a mechanic urgently to look at my car, as it was 2 days before Christmas and my car had an oil leak. I was recommended ultra tune, as another mechanic said they might be able to assist.

I walked in, greeted one mechanic who was sitting on a chair. I said explained my car had an oil leak and that were headed off on a road trip the day after Christmas. I said I know it's a long shot, but I was wondering if someone had a minute to have a quick look at my car, even just tell me if it looks like a big issue that'll need to be fixed after Christmas or if it's something to not worry about. The first mechanic smiled, sat back in his chair and said, you got no chance mate, it's a few days before Christmas. I said I understand that, I was just hoping I could even explain the issue and see what you think, before he could answer, another mechanic pops his head out of a van, and says are you serious it's so close to Christams, laughed and then went back to what he was doing. At this stage I left.

I understand it was close to Christmas and that someone wasnt likely to just be standing around waiting for me to come in. However not even being able to spare a minute to talk to me, or even just respectfully explaining that they were unable to assist was not appreciated. Hands down, some of the worse service I've seen. There is no way I'll ever be returning to Nerang ultra tune.

Surprisingly the next mechanic I went to was also booked out, he took about two minutes, listened to the issue told me his thoughts and we booked the car in for late January to be fixed.. Very disappointed!

Phoned and requested a Speedo check, was told $65 booked car in, got there told needed car for couple of hours, employee was a bit rude, returned 2 hours later and charged me $130 and was told they needed 2 people to test, photos etc….Pays to get a written quote people!! Won’t be using them again.

Just a quick note can’t recommend these guys enough at Kenwick called in this morning with a small issue and the guys couldn’t help me enough and solved it in no time at all
So if you need anything sorted on your vehicle just call them and they can help

Drove my car in for a pink slip making sure I was first in line. You cannot book its first in line. Two more men turned up approximately 15 and 25 minutes after me. After waiting 1 hour I went to find out what was happening only to find both men had had their cars done before mine. When I asked why I was told one was ill and begged to have his car done. This was a lie as I had been talking to both men while we waited. When I further queried that I was put to the end of the queue because I was a woman, the mechanic just shrugged his shoulders. Discrimination in this age is not on. Very angry.

I should´ve written the review ages ago.
The mechanics at ultra tune campbelltown are truly the best people ever. I had some (unforeseen) and big problems earlier this year and they gave me so much support! They are the opposite of trying to rip you off and you can really see that satisfaction as a customer is more important than making money. Especially as a woman, it can be challenging to find a mechanic that does not try to scam you and that's definitely not the case at ultra tune campbelltown!
I live an hour away but do not think about switching to another mechanic. thanks so much, guys!

One of the worst customer service I book my car for major service I took day off to drop car and lady very rude tell to keep car for 2 days didn’t mention at first place and then saying we going open ur car then we buy parts what a bad service
This is my second experience don’t ever give car to them not experience staff they going to make ur car damage using aftermarket parts after market

This is the worst place ever as they don’t know how to communicate with clients as all they want is money, took my car in today and was quoted roughly $350-360 but ended up being over $1000. Told them I didn’t want to proceed and then they got salty and charged me for checking my car, if I knew that they would charge to check my car they should off given me a price not just charge me when I went to get my car back I will NEVER use them from now on.
