THE WORST!! Do not buy from these scammers. Bought a renewed Apple Watch back in November which they supplied with a third party charger. By January, the charger was getting SO hot within minutes of putting it onto charge, it was a fire hazard and fried the watch so it wouldn’t turn on. Ultimo Electronics refused to give me a refund, instead insisting there was no fault with the item. Eventually they told me that a replacement watch would be sent. That was on March the 7. It is now April the 13th. It took FOUR months of back and forth and being lied to again and again by Bethany (probably not even her real name) being told my replacement watch would be sent out, and I still have received nothing. They even ‘closed my case’ without sending anything hoping I wouldn’t notice!!!!! I had enough and contacted Amazon to report them and get a refund directly. Don’t waste your money here.

Bought a reconditioned chromebook through wowcher sent a spin 12 instead of a spin 11, arrived with bubbles on screen. Then within a month of receiving lots of battery issues until final crash. Sent back & eventually sent another one back but not my 12 but an 11. I bought items for my 12 which now redundant. Asked for broken one back but customer service is robotic & appalling. No apology at any point for a dreadful experience. Put through 4 months of hassle to end up with something I don't want. Avoid if you want decent customer service

Sent an item back and still waiting on a refund .. feel like I’ve been told false promises 4 days .. then tomorrow then by 6.30 I’m very upset as this was alot of money and I feel like they’ve just lied to me and making excuse when it’s my money I want it back 🤥 poor very poor service will never use again and still no reply no contact details I will be looking into this further as the stress it’s caused myself and others!

I received a faulty device it was “replaced”, and the replacement is also faulty. The trust pilot reviews are telling you need to fix something ASAP.

I am waiting 3 months on my product and being sent in circles about trying to get a refund.

This company should be avoided. I hope Amazon remove them. Bought an iPhone from them. Condition of item was good but screen glitching and battery issues from start up. Returned item and was sent it again but still had some issues and screen pixelated on low brightness. So I sent it back.

Their policy is not to refund despite the law on distance selling, so beware. They offered me a replacement instead. And nor did they refund postage on either occasion. I just wanted my money back and they refused.

Fortunately Amazon were brilliant. Full refund and all postage refunded within 48 hours.

I honestly don’t know why Amazon continues to do business with this shower. I bought an ‘excellent condition’ Apple Watch which I returned within 2 hours of receiving it due to its poor condition. They acknowledged return after I showed proof of delivery and each day continued to promise to refund me. I actually feel sorry for Bethany having to lie continuously promising a refund by 6.30pm each day knowing full well this wasn’t going to happen. Chasing the ‘refund department’ This company works out of a unit on some tinpot industrial estate so refunding would have been just a click of a mouse. In the end Amazon refunded me. Please don’t use this company.

Do not purchase off this company there products come damaged and they lie.
My husband purchased me an Apple Watch from this company for Xmas refurbished in excellent condition, it arrived with deep scratches all over it, we returned the item and were promised time and time again a refund first in 3 working days, then it will be in by 3.30 then 5.30 it never happened, we have now reported this company and claimed our money back through the bank who will be investigating them, they also contacted my husband today offering him £6 if he would remove his negative review that he posted.
Complete scammers avoid at all costs.

Scam Company... We ordered an apple watch from this company, The description and photos were as new the item was almost at the complete opposite end of what was described. In all honesty I would completly avoid looking at these at all costs. We have waited over a month for a refund and now gone through our bank for this now. Avoid using these people at all costs they are certainly on the line of SCAMMERS!!

Bought a refurbished laptop via Wowcher from this company. After reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned. However I had no cause to be. Quick processing time . Good communication. Laptop is excellent for the price and I'm very pleased with it. Would use this company again.

Got an eye watch so My Wife could check her heart rate but the back of the watch looks like it’s been scraped along the floor so not able to read anything absolutely useless cannot get hold of anybody to complain. Don’t reply to emails

Fraudulent and dishonest sellers. I bought a refurbished Chromebook which should had only cosmetic signs of wear and tear. What I received was a Chromebook with one of the hinges smashed off. I returned as requested in order to receive a refund, only to receive a second unrequested damaged Chromebook through the mail a few days later - this time though, the touch pad had been hacked away at both bottom corners with a sharp instrument. A smashed hinge and destroyed touchpad are not cosmetic signs of wear and tear. They have refused to refund me BOTH sets of return postage and request that I return the 2nd damaged Chromebook. Why should I pay up front for return postage, when I was supposed to get a refund, not another damaged Chromebook? Also, I do not have the spare cash to keep paying for return postage. I am now stuck with a damaged laptop that is absolutely no use to me and am £70 out of pocket. Utter rip off merchants.

Renew Electronics and Ultimo Electronics have been the worst companies I have ever dealt with, and their behaviour borders on fraudulent.

I originally ordered a 44mm Apple Watch Series 4 GPS and Cellular in Space Grey from Renew Electronics through a Wowcher voucher. I received it on 22/09/25. It arrived scratched, dirty and with a weak battery. It did not resemble a refurbished product.

I returned the device on 26/09/25. They confirmed receipt on 02/10/25. From that point they dragged the refund out with constant delays, excuses and repeated copy and paste messages. They kept giving dates for when the refund would be issued. None of those dates were honoured.

Instead of refunding me, Ultimo Electronics sent an unsolicited replacement device without my consent on 12/11/25. It went to the wrong address and I never received it. They then tried to link my refund to a 30 working day Royal Mail investigation for a parcel I never asked for and never had. This felt like a tactic used by scam style companies to avoid issuing refunds.

Both companies ignored the fact that they had already received my original return in early October. Under consumer law, they should have refunded me within 14 days. Instead they refused to take responsibility and tried to shift the blame to courier errors and their own unauthorised shipment.

Their behaviour has been suspicious, evasive and misleading. They rely on fake timelines, contradictory information and circular excuses. It felt like dealing with scammers from start to finish.

Only after I posted this review on 14/11/25 did they suddenly email me today (17/11/25) claiming the refund had now been processed. Instead of sending the money back to my original payment method, Wowcher added an £85 wallet credit to my account. This is useless to me because I will never use Wowcher again. I now have to go through yet another painful process to try to force Wowcher to actually refund the money back to my card.

Avoid Renew Electronics and Ultimo Electronics at all costs. Their customer service is dishonest, their practices are questionable and they should not be trusted on any platform.

bought a refurbished iphone from ultimo through amazon, said it was amazon prime next day delivery until I bought it and then all of a sudden it was being sent via royal mail, I needed it next day as it was a gift so when I received it days later I returned it, I didn't receive any email to say they had received it even though I knew they had through DPD tracking, got in contact with them and was told they had received it and I would receive a refund in 5-7 working days. On the 7th day I still hadn't received a refund or any update at all so I contacted them again and was told I would receive the refund at 6:30pm, strange time and for a friday night so I didn't hold out much hope. Suprise suprise no refund and they stopped responding to my emails so I had to report them to amazon to receive my money back. Wish I had read the reviews on here first but why would you when u buy through amazon you don't expect such bad service!

I purchased a MacBook Air from him a few months ago. I accidentally wrote a review on Back Market that I wasn’t able to edit, despite trying many times and even emailing Back Market. Fortunately, it was eventually removed.
I want to say that I am very, very happy with his service. The laptop I purchased from him has been excellent. After the purchase, he even guided me over the phone on how to start up, set up, and fix a few initial issues. He was extremely helpful throughout the process.
The laptop is still working perfectly—just like new. I strongly recommend him!

Avoid. Faulty phone from Amazon. Sent for repair and or evaluation. They do not respond unless prompted. Still no update. One very upset Son on his birthday when phone didn't work.

Bought a gold iPhone 7+ in late 2021, the condition was marked as excellent. It arrived, scratched annd cracked and the battery capacity was below 80%. Within an hour it burned my hand it overheated so much. Had to replace it after 2 years as stopped being a fully functioning phone. so disappointed.

If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid this company at all costs. They tell you they are sending your item, give fake tracking numbers and then say they don’t have it in stock weeks later (and after saying it’s been posted). They then don’t refund for months, you get told it’s in progress but it’s not.
Waste of my time and money.

SCAM COMPANY. They also trade as Renew Electronics. Their MO is to sell you rubbish and delay refunds. They also regularly send replacement items that were not requested instead of refunds, then when you reject the delivery as advised, the package never makes it back to them and they don't refund. Lying cheats who should not be trading.

Purchased an Apple Watch via Wowcher labelled as in 'good' condition. Arrived with deep scratches covering the entire outer edge of the watch screen. Have emailed and keep getting sent round in circles and called with no answer. Have contacted Wowcher but they have sent me back to Ultimo. I would avoid and purchase refurbished products elsewhere.
