Great service, friendly team! Quick repair would use again!

I woke up to find a broken rear window. I found their website easy to navigate, and after entering my car details, it displayed a competitive replacement price (with no hidden fees). They offered next day fix times (am/pm including Saturdays). I received updated texts / emails and was able to liaise with the fitter directly. The new window was professionally fitted. Thank you.

Having been told by a major windscreen glass supplier/fitter that they could not find a screen for my car on several occasions over a 12 month period UK Windscreens located one and fitted it within a week. Excellent service.

My 2002 Audi A8 (23 years old) was sold with a cracked windscreen of which I didn’t notice until driven away.
Thus was an MOT fail, contacted a few companies and was left in the dark.
U.K. Windscreens Limited was the only company to almost instantly give me a good quote and a time.
A week later after several unwanted texts off other companies I came back to U.K. Windscreens Limited late on a Friday night and was astounded that they were trying their best to have my replacement sorted for the next day - A Saturday Morning and then assured me it would be completed ASAP and they didn’t let me down!!
Monday Morning they called, texted and sent over a really Nice & Professional Technician who was an absolute joy & gent to work with!!
I highly recommend their Service and Amazing Price - Trust me they did a F1 Mechanics job for Greggs prices!!!

The dealing with the engineer was overall positive and arrived fast and on the agreed upon dates.
However seriously have to question the quality of the glass used. Two have cracked in the space of 4 weeks with lifespan of 2 weeks each which as not cheap is not sustainable. The first one went whilst in a car park where the only video footage of anything hitting it was a crow dropping a stone which apparently caused a huge crack from top to bottom of the window. Then got that one replaced and thought the whole ordeal was to be over only for the second replacement to crack when I put on the air con. Has been put down on both occasions as impact (really not sure how the second one could possible be) but aren't windscreens supposed to be able to take some impact? This second is infuriating is fine when moving but seems to be expanded when sat in this heat. Really questioning whether the quality of glass is good enough when seems to be so prone to temperature and how it instantly cracked from nothing when the air con was turned on.

Communication was clear on matters of price and when the work would be done, the new windscreen was fitted quickly on the day agreed however I did not receive a call from the installer giving me a two hour arrival time window as mentioned in the emails leading up to the day of installation. The trim that seals onto the windscreen could've used a bit more sealing near the top but other than that it was good service.

Yes this was the only day off as this was a only day I could take off from work that would affect other people in my job - so not misleading, I have lost a days work as needed this done and was only day I had opportunity

You replied in an email happily this morning, but then ignorance for the rest of the day, even though you would of known the job was not going to be completed

I fully understand you have apologised here for the poor service - the fact you took money as per your policy that a simple email or call to apologise and inform of refund would of gone a lot further and not result in a review as that would of prevented all of this

I will do one further response to when I receive my refund ….

With the fact that there was 0 correspondence from anyone during today to explain this is such poor customer service and has cost me a day of work to hang around for a complete no show

Multiple emails and calls to the 1 number that is available is not acceptable

We were not looking for compensation just our money back for the fact the job was not completed and no communication apart from
Saying that you would speak with the contractor and get back to me at 09:30 this morning and left me on radio silence

Booked with them a week ago, as over 5 days they have taken the money! Had communicated once in the week and then today when due out I sent an email asking if technician calls prior to visit, got a generic response but seemed genuine, have waited in all day, found original email accepting quote with someone else email address attached so decided to call that companies number - they knew about job but declined last week - there is only one number via WhatsApp to call and funnily enough no response
I have emailed again asking for full refund - MY ADVICE DO NOT TOUCH THIS WEBSITE ( it’s not an actual company - they just a very expensive middle man) WITH A BARGE POLE!! Bunch of cowboys! If don’t get money back will be seeking legal advice!

Don’t use their own technicians , work is done by sub contractors . Cut out the middle man as save £££ and talk direct . Work carried out was fine .

Easy to book online. Quoted over £100 cheaper than all others I looked at.
Very very good communication from the technicians on the day. And so friendly, even considerate of keeping warmth in my house when using the electrics for hoover as I have a little one. I appreciate the small details like that.
Time will tell of the work they have done with it only being fitted today. But been out for a drive and all seems perfect! Thankyou! But wanted to write the review now before I forget.

In all honesty I wouldn’t touch these with a barge pole again ! Told a pack of lies that’s contacted me … never turned up, then arranged another appointment for the Tuesday … then cancelled then they turned up Tuesday after I’d booked someone else and done the window me thinking it was the other company, left me in a bad situation and had to call and apologise to the other company … not once did they make an effort to accept any responsibility for there wrong doings and continued to blame me … I’d avoid like the plague in future

Edit - after your reply, clearly you’re not professional, would you like me to post all the correspondence from our emails and all transcripts ? In fact I’m going to be seeking legal advise this week and I will see you in court for your slanderous comments which I’ve saved, I have every email and call log not once did your technician call me regarding the weather and you know this and they actually said this on a voice call which is recorded, so if I was you I’d think again about your silly comments calling me a liar … I have no reason to lie, no reason to contact you if your technician had contacted me when I had already paid in full what was I gaining from this 🤣🤣 honestly I hope everybody who reads this sees yous for what you are, your comments are as professional as the amateur correspondence I’ve received from the second I booked the job in.. it’s quite clear what the situation is for everyone to see .. not once have you owned the situation which prompted the review, if you had just been straight and apologised and said they would rearrange then there would of been no need for this situation instead you made false claims, told me the “alleged call “ was recorded, as soon as I called you on it and requested the recording then you cancelled the job ! Again your communication is that great the technician turned up after you cancelled the job because you knew the call I asked for the recording of did not exist ! So for this reason I will be speaking to my solicitor on Monday and I will be sending every transcript, recordings and also this screen shot of you calling me a liar for posting a honest review!

Appointment booked and windshield replaced without any hassle, was kept up to date with times etc, had a couple of queries which were answered immediately, not sure if it’s the cheapest but if no hassle and an efficient service is your bag then I recommend.

The job was done professionally and to my satisfaction, however the ordering and quoting process was flawed, only after accepting and paying for the quote I was informed about the fact that there might be an additional cost of replacing the windscreen should it get damaged during resealing. This should have been made clear upfront.
