Great job
After the initial survey which turned our not to have been totally comprehensive, ( We discovered vermiculite -an old form of insulation under the old Rockwool. This stopped work as there was a possibility it could contain asbestos!! Fortunately this turned out not to be the case.) I found this company to be extremely good. Manager Derek kept in touch with me patiently whilst I attempted to get other quotes for comparison. There was absolutely no hard sell, infact I was offered various options to ensure I could get the work I could afford.
Stephen and Jordan who completed the work..a big job for 2 men, in only 2 days...were absolutely brilliant!! Really pleasant, polite and smenable. They checked that we were happy with everything at various stages throughout the job and on completion Highly recommended!

New loft insulation
From the initial survey (James) through to the installation of new loft insulation everything went very well.
Rob and Robbie were on time, did thorough checks and made sure carpets etc were protected before any work started. I am very happy with the result and the fitters were thorough and methodical.
Follow up call from the office to check I was happy indicated that this is a company that cares.

Excellent customer care
Salesman was polite, really helpful and thorough with no pressure to buy. I felt the Company was really supportive throughout all the procedures. The insulation product was excellent. The installers, Jonny and Mathew cleared the loft, old boards and insulation and on completion, put back items I wanted to keep. They worked very hard, were friendly, respectful, helpful and worked with minimal disturbance. Dust sheets were used throughout. On completing the installation, everything was hoovered and everywhere was left spotless. I would wholeheartedly recommend this Company.

When you choose a company 3 things
When you choose a company, three things, Quality of work and materials, qualified and caring staff, value for money.
The Surveyor explained things fully. No hesitation in giving 5 starts Steve and Peter worked extremely hard in this horrendous heat to complete the job, naturally due to the heat it took longer but that was fully and natually acceptable, working in a loft in this weather is a tough job.
They were very informative and kept good communications all through the process and nothing was too much trouble. A credit to the company and themselves
Freya was also very pleasant to deal with.

Very pleased with UKESN insulation…
Very pleased with UKESN insulation company. From the initial inspection by Mick Rowbotham .who checked evidence of vermin ,wasps, birds nests ect. He also checked the moisture content of all the roof timbers to see if there was signs of any rot. He also checked the existing insulation. It had absorbed moisture.
The insulation team of initially came a few days later .Lewis & Mo . They cleared everything out of the loft including my stored items for me to sort out what I wanted to go back up later. By them.
The next day Cos &Mo came back to finish the removal of all the old insulation. (Lewis. Had to go home due to a family loss) . All the old insulation was disposed of into big long socks which were fixed around the hatch so that nothing was dropped on the carpets. Then zip tied. Very good idea.
All in all I'm really pleased with this company from Mick, Lewis, Mo& Cos. .
I would like to thank Freya too who is in the office organising all this. It is nice to know that there are companies out there that treat their customers with respect. Well done UKESN . I have absolutely no connection with this company , I'm only a happycustomer .

The value of good loft insulation
I'm impressed. On the hottest June day ever, I turned on the Aircon at 8.30, getting the temperature to 22C. At 10.30 I turned the Aircon off and went out for two hours. Coming home the temperature was still 22C. I went out again, returning at 4.30, by which time the temperature had risen to 23.5C. with outside temperatures up to 35C I think this demonstrates the value of good loft insulation.
The installation team were polite, friendly, and made no mess at all. A professional job. With a ten year warranty.

Loft insulation upgrades
Sean spent 2 days working in the loft. We had quite a dirty loft to clean out and Sean did a great job tidying it and adding the insulation. His work ethic is very good.

I'm a very happy customer!…
I am happy to report that my experience with UK Energy Saving Network people and products recently, in completely replacing my 25year old insulation, and upgrading previously missing plus substandard work by the original housebuilder - has been superb. Thanks to Joe with specifications, Stevie with excellent work professionally completed, and Daniel and Freya at headquarters. I am a pensioner living alone in a small terraced home, and the benefits of their efforts will have a significant improvement in my energy usage and costs. Very very Good!

On site visit with no official quote received!
Unsure how this company gets good reviews - such a mystery!! This company’s service has been below expectations so far. They had a person arrive 40mins late for an appointment to view my loft and 3 days later no documentation has been emailed or callback on a quote. I’ve called back and tried again with no joy, a customer service representative said I’d hear back yesterday and never did! So far interactions have been non efficient, it shouldn’t be the client doing the chasing.

Very Happy
Updated to add that a new ladder pole has been sent to me and I have seen the evidence that vents have been fitted. Excellent admin response!
The whole process from start to finish has been problem free. I did not feel pressured by the surveyor - sorry I have forgotten his name - and he reassured me that my roof was in good condition apart from the fibre glass insulation. The workmen who came to do the job - Steve and Pete - were excellent and were very easy to have in my home. They worked really hard and deserve a pay rise.
However, for my peace of mind, I would appreciate another visit from the surveyor to check that the vents(?) he said would be installed have been - or pictures to show them. This is not a criticism of Steve and Pete - I did not remember to ask them about the vents.
Also I would appreciate a new stick to pull the loft ladder down as it was broken during the surveyor's visit and the repair made by the lads has not lasted.
For that, I have awarded 4 rather than 5 stars.

The person who came to look at the job was on time and had a through look at was needed, also he answered any question I had and did not pressure me into buying anything.
