PARENTS - I WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY.
We booked an airport transfer for 5 passengers, including our young child, and specifically requested a child seat. We provided our child’s age in advance and were told that a child seat had been allocated to our booking.
We understood their policy that child seats cannot be absolutely guaranteed because unexpected things can happen for example, a driver being changed at the last minute due to traffic or a delayed previous job. We accepted that risk.
However, that does not appear to be what happened to us.
When our driver arrived, he had no child seat and told us he didn’t even know that one had been requested. From our conversation with him, it appeared that the child-seat request had not been communicated to him at all.
This left us trying to work out alternative arrangements immediately before travelling to the airport. In the end, we had to split our group: my brothers used the taxi, while three of us drove separately using our own child seat and had to pay for airport parking.
If an unexpected problem had occurred with the allocated child seat and the company had called us beforehand to explain, I would have understood. Instead, the driver arrived seemingly unaware that a child seat was ever part of the booking.
I emailed the company afterwards explaining what had happened and giving them an opportunity to respond. Several days later, I have received no acknowledgement or response, despite receiving replies to my other emails with them within hours.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend relying on this company if you are travelling with a young child and require a child seat. Their disclaimer says seats cannot be guaranteed, but in our case the issue wasn't simply that the requested seat became unexpectedly unavailable; the driver wasn't even aware we had requested one.

I have used UK Airport Taxi every year for three years now (24-26), they have always been excellent. Every booking has arrived on time or earlier, the vehicles have always met or exceeded expectations and all the drivers have been courteous and helpful. I've been using UK Airport Taxi for the last three years for Luton Airport transfers. Their service is reliable, drivers are always on time for pick-ups, even in the middle of the night, and prices are very reasonable. Overall, very satisfied and would definitely recommend!
