This company charged me £13.95 on top of the money I paid for goods. They claimed it would be added to my "account", which I had not signed up for. On checking other emails from this company I discovered, in the very small print at the very bottom, they claimed I had signed up for an account merely by ordering from their company and that they would be taking £30.00 per month starting in November for the privilege! By then I realised this was a scam and contacted my bank. They have blocked any future payments leaving my account and have issued a new card. Please don't ever use Ozerty, they are a scam company.

Like Cat on 6 October, I happily bought a small item costing £9.02 to be precise.

Now they have taken an additional £13.95 on 19 October PLUS they are going to charge me £30 on 14 November and the same amount per cycle (whatever a “cycle” is).

They stated one can cancel anytime online or by email which I attempted on 20 October, but all I received was a generic email and I am awaiting for this to be confirmed. Their contact phone number in the UK isn’t manned; they ask for an email to be sent to their UK contact address.

I will be contacting my bank to try to get the £13.95 refunded and asking them not to accept any further payments from Ozerty UK.

They seem to be scammers judging from all the UK reviews. I only wish I had reviewed this company online before making my seemingly normal, minor purchase.

Everything about the company is wrong!

You customers in the UK are being treated badly by OZERTY as we are in Australia and every where else in the world. The FlexPay is a cheating scheme as is the monthly subscription that customers don't realise is happening until it is too late.

Check your emails from OZERTY very carefully and unsubscribe as soon as you can and don't believe their sugary, sweet "sorry " emails when you complain. They are only sorry that some of us figured them out!!

Keep spreading the word about OZERTY in the UK and I will do the same in Australia

I purchased a small item from them for £9. I noticed later that week that they had charged me an additional £13.50 which they said was for a "subscription". Upon reading the website again, they sign you up for a website subscription and then begin charging you with very little indication. I managed to cancel it but now I have a redundant amount of "store credit" with them. The item did arrive eventually.

Hi everyone do not order from this company. They gave me half of my order & because I emailed them politely that I would like the rest of my order they blocked me. I've just rang up my bank apparently they have heard of this company before. I thank the reviews on trustpilot warning people about them taking money out out of bank account without permission they are now blocked by my bank. Many thanks guys

I would prefer not to grant any star but not an option.
Avoid this company they charge a hidden fee which was not explained .I wrote several emails and each time they promised to refund my payment This NEVER happened

I would give less than one star if that was an option. Really scammy behaviour, widely known. They will bury a reference to a subscription for a VIP membership account in the T&Cs, then charge you £30 pm for a quote unquote service that you didn't even realise you were being signed up for. Avoid at all costs.

Yes, I’ve got scammed by them too. So many of us! Paid for items using my debit card and then £30 was taken out last week which I hadn’t authorised. Really fed up that they can continue to get away with this – merely platitudes sent as a response to comments with no action really being taken. I’m surprised there is no legislation in place to stop what is clearly dishonest, if not criminal, activity in the first place.

Bought something for £10, charged me £13.95 after without telling me I would be, then auto enrolled me on a subscription which they also do not tell you, and charged me a subsequent £30.

Biggest scam I have seen recently, I wish I’d have looked at reviews first, honestly DO NOT use this absolute joke of a company. I don’t know how they are still active.

ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. They will make products seem so reasonably priced until they start taking multiple payments from your bank account without realising. When you contact customer service they then say “no no the money has been taken and applied to your OZERTY account funds” how about no!!!! I don’t want my money being taken without consent and stored into my silly account on this silly website. Absolute scammers. If you have ordered on this website, remove your money from your bank account, contact the bank and report it and have them blocked because all they do is keep taking and taking small amounts hoping that you will not realise and then using the safety net of “no it has all been added to your account wallet, for future purchases as per our terms and conditions” to get around it. Disgusting company and disgusting customer service. I hope to see you shut down.

This company is fraudulent.
They will charge you hidden payments and take extra money from your account.

Stay away - total fraud website. I bought a small item for GBP 7.49 pounds and the next day they took GBP 13.95 pounds for no reason. I wrote to their customer service and no response so far! Total fraud!

I have just been told that it is going to cost me £15 to return a pair of cheap plastic sliders that were described as being of an orthopedic design. Very unhappy.

I begrudge even giving one star. AVOID this company at all costs. You will see the numerous reviews showing just what this company is about. I ordered an item that was 'Delivered to a neighbour'. What neighbour? As they apparently could not find my address. I was told their customer service team that i will have to go and find it myself. I am a 85 year old man with mobility issues and do not have a clue where to find this 'Neighbour'. Disgraceful service. I would be very happy to see this incompetent company go down or receive a huge fine!

Item hasn’t arrived. Customer service is evasive. They tell me to speak to the courier but they don’t give me the name or contact details of the courier. They are giving me the runaround and I doubt my item will ever arrive.

Stay away. Hidden fees and a recurring subscription when you place an order. Knew there was something fishy when I went to check out and they kept adding fees, insurance, delivery etc while the payment was already processed. Tried to cancel it immediately but payment was taken. Cancelled my card as I've only just read the reviews after this experience. Recieved confirmation email that states ive signed up to the NO LIMIT subscription which will take a direct debit from your account every 4 months. I can assure this is nowhere to be seen in any part of the transaction. Blatant theft.

OZERTY UK don't be fooled its Chinese, I ordered an item and was charge an extra £1.99 fee for insurance I did not ask for or want. Tries to cancel but said I couldn't even though order had not been dispatched. Wanted to return item for a refund told to return to China at my cost of approx £15 !! to get a refund of £6 !!!!! Take my advice and shop elsewhere. RIP OFF COMPANY see all the other reviews.

Multiple emails per day are urging you to buy items that have already been removed from your cart. Not willing to purchase from a company that does not use secure online payment methods and asks for credit card details instead. Having read other reviews - looked like I dodged a bullet.
