Okay, I’ve had enough after reading some of the other reviews.

I’ve been waiting for a response from customer service for almost a month. After completing a trip as a trip leader and submitting it for review, nothing happened for about two weeks. Then the status was changed back to draft without a single word of explanation.

I was still hoping this wasn’t a scam, but seeing responses from JMT here claiming they aim to reply within 24 to 48 hours is honestly laughable. At this point, it feels like a dead project.

Even if they start communicating at some point, I’m no longer interested.

I can’t imagine how they could be helpful if I or my travel companions needed any kind of assistance, or if there were any payment issues on the part of some travel mate.

Ich habe meine Reise vor knapp einer Woche storniert, jedoch bis heute weder per E-Mail noch über die Website eine Bestätigung erhalten, dass die Stornierung erfolgreich durchgeführt wurde. Besonders problematisch ist, dass es offenbar keine erreichbare Telefonnummer gibt – die angegebene Nummer ist entweder ungültig oder nicht erreichbar.

Noch ärgerlicher: Trotz der bereits vor mehreren Tagen eingereichten Stornierung wurde der Restbetrag weiterhin abgebucht. Die Reiseführerin vor Ort konnte lediglich vage Rückmeldungen von der angeblichen Verwaltung weitergeben, die behauptet, die Stornierung sei „in Bearbeitung“. Eine verbindliche oder offizielle Rückmeldung fehlt jedoch bis heute.

Insgesamt wirkt der gesamte Ablauf äußerst unprofessionell und wirft ernsthafte Zweifel an der Zuverlässigkeit des Anbieters auf. So stellt man sich Kundenservice definitiv nicht vor.

It was an awsome experience in different countries with this platform. It was a nice chance to meet new people and explore new places together. We bad so much fun, laughed together, tasted new food, and learned about new cultures.

Had some amazing days in Madeira! Spending lots of time outdoors with a good guide and meeting new friends. I'd recommend to anyone who's looking for a different type of trip.

Thanks a lot to Marcus and the Team for our great experience. There was always a Yes by you for us. Amazing local arrangements! So many new friends. Hope to see you again soon!

Alles hat wunderbar funktioniert!! Reiseleiter, Aktivitäten & Unterkunft waren 10/10 !! verstehe nicht die negativen Reviews hier und da, bei uns war alles perfekt :) immer wieder gerne ❤️

Never trust this website.
They take ages to reply, if they reply at all. The organiser never responded to me, and despite multiple follow-up emails, they failed to reply and return my deposit. I eventually had to involve my bank to resolve the issue.

I had already booked my airline tickets based on this trip and ended up having to manage everything on my own.

Do not trust them.

Ich bin zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben ein Reise alleine angetreten. Diese Reise nach Portugal war einfach fantastisch – von der ersten Minute bis zur Heimkehr ein echtes Erlebnis! Alles war perfekt organisiert, sodass ich mich um nichts kümmern musste und die Zeit einfach genießen konnte. Ich finde das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis war auch super.

Ein ganz besonderes Lob möchte ich unseren Reiseleiter Miguel aussprechen:
Er war herzlich, kompetent und unglaublich engagiert. Mit viel Leidenschaft, Humor und Wissen hat er uns Land und Leute nähergebracht. Durch seine Tipps und Geschichten wurde jede Etappe der Reise zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Vielen Dank an Miguel und Join My Trip, ich werde euch wieder buchen.

Es war ein unvergesslicher Trip nach Island. Super organisiert, dazu außergewöhnliche Ausflüge (vor allem die Gletschertour und Diamond Beach) und eine super Gruppe. Ich habe nicht nur neue Leute kennengelernt, sondern Freundschaften geschlossen. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen!

Ich bin nun schon zum zweiten Mal mit JoinMyTrip unterwegs gewesen – und wieder absolut begeistert! Man lernt tolle Menschen kennen, entdeckt gemeinsam neue Länder und sammelt unvergessliche Erinnerungen.

Meine Reise mit JoinMyTrip war super! Es war atemberaubend und die Gruppe war echt cool. Die Trip-Leaderin war nett und organisiert. Ich werde bald meine nächste Reise nach Kolumbien mit JmT buchen :)

I really had a wonderful time! I Highly appreciated the easy booking process and the smooth conversation with the trip leader. Would defintely book a trip again. Next time maybe South Africa :). I really enjoyed getting to know the other people and a new culture at the same time!

Ich habe über JoinMyTrip an einer Reise teilgenommen und bin total begeistert! Die Plattform macht es super einfach, spannende Reisen zu finden und Gleichgesinnte kennenzulernen. Schon vor der Abreise konnte ich mit dem TripLeader und den anderen Teilnehmern klären, was mir viel Sicherheit gegeben hat.

Während der Reise war die Organisation top, und gleichzeitig gab es genug Flexibilität, um auch spontan Dinge zu unternehmen. Besonders toll fand ich den Community-Aspekt – man reist nicht nur, sondern lernt neue Menschen kennen, mit denen man die schönsten Momente teilen kann.

Für mich war es die perfekte Mischung aus Abenteuer, neuen Eindrücken und netten Leuten. Ich würde jederzeit wieder über JoinMyTrip mitreisen und kann es jedem empfehlen, der Lust auf Reisen in einer coolen Gruppe hat!

Absolutely HYPOCRITICAL company. I been a Tripleader for 2.5 years and then a new CEO popped out of nowhere and decided to change things. My whole account was deleted due to the new payment system (at least that's what they said) I was told they were going to go with Stripe from now on, and Stripe is not available in my country. So, all my work was thrown into a bin without any last thoughts given.
But that's not the only thing.

When I check tripleaders from countries where stripe is not available, those tripleaders' accounts are still available on the website. It gives the idea that the stripe excuse was just a lie only to dismiss MY account for some reason.

The company is in Germany, but the company is run by a team that mostly consists of people from countries like India, Lebanon, Ukraine, etc. Most are not even in Germany, they work remotely. So, I guess, that's why the company lacks the German discipline. As a Tripleader, I had to remind them about things where they had to take care of. Their excuse was, "there are too many Tripleaders". Does that sound professional to you? You have a d.m.n whole team for that! But apparently, they are only there to dismiss the accounts they think they don't like, and protect certain accounts they are friends with. And the new CEO, he believes he knows the best. The company is NO professional whatsoever.

Besides, their marketing s.ck.s as they are not able to get much of traffics on social media, thus, not enough interest is received for the trips. I've got all my tripmates by myself.

Even one ⭐ is too much for such an unprofessional company. Hope to see it won't last for long. And with such decisions, they probably won't, as they are still a start-up company and yet they shoot themselves in the foot.

Stop being a liar, JoinMyTrip. You say 'we decided to use Stripe, so we had to cut ties with you, because Stripe is not used in your country,' yet when I check your website, and go through the tripleaders, there are Turkish tripleaders whose accounts are still active. Not to mention that my original review was written in July. After 3 months, you suddenly decided to reply back? Really? And still lying about the situation? There are Turkish tripleaders whom I talked about this "Stripe issue" back then, and they were upset as their accounts were going to be deleted, too. But it's been 3 months since then, their accounts are as active as they are in the beginning. So, I don't buy that new regulation thing you put forward.

I don't know what was the beef you had with me, as I had no beef with anyone there, but whatever that was, was enough to terminate my 2.5-year-old account without giving a second thought.

And yes, there is no problem about being diverse, as long as it affects the work culture, which you obviously lack, adversely.
