The newly refurbished travellodge in Huddersfield is lovely. Beautiful smell of new carpets, rooms immaculate no bashed or marked walls. For money we paid it was brilliant. Staff lovely too.

I telephoned Cheshire Oaks to make an enquiry and the lady refused to give her name and hung up the telephone. I phoned again and spoke to the same lady and she was asking why I wanted her name?! Isnt it polite to give your name to a customer on the phone? I gave my name, what's the hardship in that. Then she made out she was the "Victim" as I wasnt speaking to her correctly, her name was "Louise" and she hung up on me again. What a horrible member of staff with a horrible attitude. Please leave and give someone who is nice your job!

Went to an advert for £55 overnight stay when I went to book it the price jumped £155...WHAT A RIP OFF!!

I had a problem with a Manager who was harassing me to leave my room, despite me telling her that my Housing group were sorting out payment for further nights there. I even told her I would pay out of my own pocket if the payment never come through on time. This made no difference?
Fairly young and immature manager. After I had words with her about her poor customer care, she kept voiding my door access card, so I had to keep returning to reception. It appeared she was having a laugh with her colleagues?
If it happened once, it could be a mistake but it happened 3-times to me and I suffer with mobility problems. They give me another card but it happened again?
I sent numerous emails to their Ceo and Customer care but they just made excuses and then told me, they wouldnt be corresponding with me further?
Disgraceful Service. This was Hexham Travel Lodge, Northumberland.

Arrived expecting a twin room the beds were so small it was unbelievable, parking isn’t included and hotel staff don’t care, Hassan’s customer service well he didn’t have any. For the price of the room it is very poor quality.

Stayed at Scarborough over the weekend, their site stated they had discounted parking, when we got there we were told by a very rude receptionist that this was not true and should be taken from the website, she told us that they did do a deal with the local Council regarding the NCP car park, I found this strange because NCP are not owed by the local authority. She told us this without lifting her head, the person who served us was very nice but the one that was doing the talking was horrible, one of our keys did not work, she took it from my wife and binned it, and without saying a word carried on doing something else without the offer of a replacement. the place is tired, but very quiet, had a good night's sleep. Shower was nice. Cleaning staff were lovely. Funny how one member of staff can destroy the reputation of a hotel.
The meals aren't cheap lots of places to get some food, just eat out.

Tried to book direct. Used the search tool on their website. Got a room at a reasonable price for the dates I wanted and paid. When the confirmation came it was for different dates and fewer nights. Immediately rang booking line and told £12.50 for amendment, no cancellation or refund, and the cost for the date I actually wanted was over £100 more. Told to use their online chat to make a complaint. Same response. Chat function didn’t work properly so eventually closed mid conversation. Email from senior customer service also refused refund. It’s cheaper to cancel and lose the cost of the booking and rebook with a different hotel than it is to change the booking. No complaints policy on the website. No response to my reply to their email. Very poor customer service.

Travel lodge Worcester
Stayed on the 11.2.26 for one night with my partner and was completely impressed by how helpful and friendly the 2 girls on shift where on my visit … nothing was too much trouble and both very pleasant girls would definitely stay there again and if management see this review they both deserve recognition for how they represent travel lodge

Travellodge Hartlebury

Nice friendly team, in particular the Mother & Daighter team who often work the day shift. Rooms are reasonably clean, Indian restaurant next door and petroleum station with a Asda express within a 5 minute walk on the A road. Free Tea & Coffee which you can restock yourself from reception. Only complaint is you should not have to pay for Wi-Fi. Not an issue as have a good data packet by my Mobile provider but that’s beyond the point/basic-principle.

Rates start from around £30 a night, average around £50, however for only slightly more you can stop at the “Stourport Manor” in Stourport, 20 minutes walk to town, nice grounds to walk in, pub with food within a 5 minutes walk and a pool/sauna & gym on site so Travelodge should be really not charging much more than £25-£30 a night when there is alternatives (good ones) in Stourport town and nearby Kidderminster. (Premier Inn)

Travelled with wife & small dog from scotland to London elephant & castle..Hotel seems new & modern.Rooms great & breakfast outstanding..Would definetely come back if staying in london again.10/10

We were booked into travellodge Manchester for tonight as going to watch strictly at the arena, daughter booked us a superior room on 6th floor, it was a really spacious room and lots of extras , however my wife couldn’t make the stairs she doesn’t do lifts , we asked if they would kindly move us , which they did to a standard room extremely standard, which was ok until they asked for £41 to change us which was 80% of the price of the superior room, shame on you travellodge , won’t be staying again , outrageous.

5 minute walk from kings x mainline station and plenty of restaurants to eat in

I have stayed at travlelodge lowton warrington for approximatly 3 weeks it would not normally be a place on radar however it did. I found the staff to be friendly but only if I wanted to talk, room was clean as where bedding they happy to extra clean even if I caused mess by dropping biscuit i love biscuits. There was unlimited access to coffee milk sugar tea without having to ask at reception but the one thing that over rode everything it was the closest I believe i come to being deaf as even when hotel full once in room I was in deaf in a bubble not a sound outside door from other rooms I had to open window to hear the world but once closed deaf again exactly what a hotel should be a protective bubble to sleep and relax did I mention I also had two dogs in my booking yet staff did not cochie coo over them or have any issues they where as welcome as myself thinking about it did dogs also think I must have gone deaf not the most luxurious stay but luxury where mattered bedding silence cleanliness not the hilton but not far from as now stayed both but it was million miles from the most basic hotel room and if the whole chain meets lowton branch you may look for news see if world ended as once inside room does not even show on decibel meter and I tried as part work kit

The Travelodge in Swansea houses "people" in conjunction with Swansea Council.
We were accosted by beggars who were staying there, walking around the dining area waving their room key. Asking for £5.
There was a strong smell of cannabis in the room coming up through the ducting.
The"people were all gathered outside smoking in their PJ's.
There was a great amount of noise from the people outside.
Absolutely shocking as we have used them on a regular basis. AVOID AVOID AVOID,

Booked a family room for a one night stay 3.1.26. As we were leaving next morning we found a small plastic packet with white powder residue still inside, under the bed, my grandaughter is only 2 so its a good job her mother found it first. Obviously complained on the spot and raised issue via complaints process

Why would anyone use this company, you cant speak to customer services, the chat facility has had no advisors all day and the one I did speak to on Friday said someone would call me back by 17.00 but as you would expect nothing

I had travelled down from west yorkshire to see my elderly brother, only to discover he had a house fire and had suffered a nervous breakdown. Consequently, he had been admitted to hospital. I arrived at Travellodge Caerphilly on 29/12/25 at 1.30am, I needed to stay until later that morning. I left at 11.45 am the same day 29/12/25 . Gareth had informed me the price was of £48.99. He insited on performing the transaction on a phone. He gave the impression of being very helpful. However as I was very tired I was not paying much attention. Several days later (5/1/260 whilst checking my bank statement, i discovered extra a CHARGE OF £57.00 from Travellodge. This was done without my knoweledge or consent. I now have my Bank involved for this fraudulent activity.
