NOT an Authorised Stryker Dealer
NO STAR wasn’t an option.
They are NOT an authorised Distributor or Dealer for STRKER products.
I have checked.
They inflate the manufacturers RRP by £52 per set of pad kits.
They advertise for an Annual Inspection for Defibrillators?? The Manufacturers do not recognise this.
All Defibrillator Guardians know that a monthly check is required.
Please do your own research BEFORE parting with your money.

Svar fra Hopkins Training and Support
Thank you for your review. We welcome the opportunity to clarify several important points for anyone responsible for a defibrillator.
Hopkins⁺ Training & Support Ltd is an independent, multi-brand specialist backed by more than 40 years' experience in defibrillation, equipment safety and technical support. We do not claim to be a currently authorised Stryker distributor. We supply genuine products at prices clearly communicated before purchase, backed by knowledgeable, personal support.
SUPPORT OFFERED
In this case, we offered complimentary practical guidance on correct HeartSine Pad-Pak installation and the relevant manufacturer safety notices, including protecting the locating pins and electrical connections and understanding the power-on and audio-prompt checks. This was entirely separate from our optional, chargeable technical servicing and Aftercare programmes.
WHY AFTERCARE GOES BEYOND A GREEN LIGHT
Routine AED guardian checks are essential, and we fully support them. Checking the status indicator, physical condition and consumable expiry dates is important. However, a flashing green indicator does not establish that every aspect of an AED's operation has been assessed, or that every applicable manufacturer safety action has been completed.
A specific example is Stryker's April 2024 Field Safety Notice (RA2024-3540155 FA305). It identifies a potential loss of instructional voice prompts in specified HeartSine AEDs, even though the status indicator may continue flashing green. The absence of prompts could delay therapy and remove an important 'stand clear' warning. For affected devices, Stryker recommends a power-on and audio-prompt check every three months.
Our multipoint Aftercare checklist is informed by documented equipment failures, manufacturer field safety notices and decades of practical experience. For HeartSine devices, our documented inspections include examination of Pad-Pak locating features and electrical contacts, alongside applicable manufacturer-directed power-on and audio-prompt checks. We record findings and retain relevant photographic evidence so customers can see what has been inspected. These are purposeful checks aimed at identifiable risks, not simply an annual glance at a green light.
PROFESSIONAL TESTING AND THE £143 SERVICE
Separately, we offer an optional one-off AED technical service at £143 + VAT. Using specialist test equipment, we assess key aspects of device performance, including recognition of simulated ventricular fibrillation and the device's response to that simulated rhythm.
We do not claim that manufacturers universally mandate annual technical servicing. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), in its Managing Medical Devices guidance, recognises appropriate, risk-based medical-device maintenance and the role of independent third-party service providers. The MHRA does not mandate our service.
Our ongoing AED Aftercare programme is different again. It includes equipment readiness oversight, manufacturer safety notice support, consumable management, post-incident assistance and training. These services complement, rather than replace, routine guardian checks.
OUR COMMITMENT
Customers are free to compare prices and suppliers. We believe they should also consider the specialist experience, accessibility, accountability and practical support behind the equipment they buy. Our approach is grounded in documented safety information and a genuine commitment to helping organisations keep their defibrillators rescue-ready.
Ultimately, our responsibility is to help ensure that equipment entrusted to our care is ready when someone's life may depend upon it.
