AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
1st year was fine, then when auto renewed thought it would be easier to stay with them… WRONG!
Worth paying a little extra and going with a proper company!

If I could give zero stars I would. Been using Unicom insurance brokers 9 years. Last renewal they put as with Tradewise to save money ! We’ve never had a claim or a problem. 6 months into policy I get email from ‘ tradewise investigations ‘ saying that they had reviewed my policy and wanted all sorts of proofs of address, log books for my cars, stock book accounts etc and an explanation of why I hadn’t declared directorship of a completely separate limited company ! And proof this company had insurance ! Also that if I didn’t supply all this within 14 days they would cancel my policy !!! I googled them and realised of course that this is how they make they’re living by taking in new clients and then cancelling policy or wanting exorbitant extra premium! I’ve been in business 35 years and if ever I’ve had a problem with a customer I would ring and speak to them not threaten them . So I will not cooperate with these crooks I won’t supply any information and have got proper insurance elsewhere as it’s blindingly obvious if we ever did have a claim, these cowboys would not pay out AVOID like the plague

Been insured with this company since 2018, got a txt message saying insurance cancelled with immediate effect, I had to contact them for a reason (said a e.mail had been sent,still to date have not received said e.mail) they said a insured party which had been insured since the beginning of the policy had criminal convictions (which were from 2007 and well spent as they only ask for the last 5 years) so this was not information I was legally required to give. Complaint has gone into head of compliance but I am not holding my breath, there customer service is not fit for purpose

Been with this company over 10 years and they have never had to pay a penny out. Got my number plates cloned and before they've even had top pay out a penny my premium went from £1200 to over £5000..absolutely disgusting and what a way to treat your customers. Pay more and go with a reputable company is my advice.

This is the worst company I have dealt with having had insurance got a month then being told it’s been cancelled without warning or given anything in writing. I then complained and still nothing done. Absolutely atrocious service received.

No fault claim on 11th Nov. Passed back and forth between two different companies, WNSA dealt with claim, they were slow, made mistakes, did not ring me back, I was finally given a settlement letter on 19th Feb and still did not get paid until 23rd March. I had to constantly ring them and ByMiles to get this sorted. The underwriters 'Tradewise' just would not release the payment. I was unable to speak to their Financial Dept directly, apparently they all work 'Off Sure', I guess that's so no one get hold of them. Never insure with By'Miles or any other company that has 'Tradewise' as their underwriters. Absolutely diabolical service.

Hi guys stay well clear these are definitely a terrible insurance company who will rob you and no respect...trying to get money of myself when the driver has been fined and hat points ..then and the owner of the vehicle in his name ..also admitted and hit a car from behind ..because I put it on my mid to have it repaired before the accident ie .a clutch.. and forgot to remove it .because he had no insurance ..they want it of me

Avoid avoid avoid. All the positive reviews are done by them self. Cancelled my policy which I had with them since 2018 and refused to give me my no claim bonus or any refund. Stole over 900£ from me

I am with Tradewise since 2014 and i am very happy with the services and their expertise.
Last month renewed my policy again, and very happy with service provided, bit pricey now, but good comprehensive cover you have to pay bit more.
Thank you very much Tradewise great people with amazing service.

The worst Insurance i ever had ..they stole my first car bmw m3 and bmw m5 . And the Insurance didn't refund me any thing after all that they cancel my insurance and even they didn't refund me my 4 months left .
My advice to everyone please don't try don't try is a joke . Don't think you try. The worst insurance company on the planet. My name rachid harkat

The first time I used them they left it 70 days to inform me that I had only 4 years not 5 years no claims bonus and wanted another £500. After i said no that's a joke and i want to cancel my policy they told me that I cant have any money back due to a 70 day no refund thay have . Funny how they left getting intouch until that date. So I had no other option but to pay the £500 . The next time I used them ,forgetting about the above. I paid £3500 for me and a couple of lads working for me to be insured. One of the lads didnt tell me or them that he had been to prison and when he was involved in a accident after a few weeks of the policy starting they cancelled the insurance with no money back . They then would not insure me but the strange thing is that the lad who had the accident they insured . It took me ages to find somebody then to insure me due to me having a insurance cancelled.
DO NOT USE THIS MONEY GRABBING SCAM OF A COMPANY

Very poor service they don't reply will keep taking money ..I never had a accident in 5 years .never claimed .. a customers car which he was driving hit a vehicle and because he wasn't insured he had 6 points and a fine and they charged me ..be careful stay well clear don't bother with this firm they are rats

Awful customer service terrible company only want your money then they couldn’t care less will not help you or answer your calls never go with this company once paid that’s it you will not hear from them again

Been with Tradewise for 20 years.. this year the renewal was not sent out, and despite 22years of no claims discount the premium went up substantially, After taking out the policy they forced me to pay for a Green card despite this being included in insurance.. this now has been refunded. The arrogance, rudeness is breathtaking... AVOID at all costs! Awful

Do not use these cowboys they take your money for 6 months £300 a month and dont insure you

Tradewise simply TERRIBLE!!! Was with tradewise for 5 years, never made a claim, paid every penny, vehicle stolen so attempted to claim, took 6 months and all they did was make my claim look dirty and threw it out using small print in the policy, honesty read all these reviews before going anywhere near them... also these crooks hide underneath the brokers so when getting quotes always look who the underwriter is, if you see the words “TRADEWISE” run a MILE!!!! Even if there cheaper, if the worst happens they won’t be there for you it’s that simple!!!!!
