Terrible
Changed phones, got locked out of app contacted support and got told to speak to my instructor? Useless and ridiculous to even call it apo support terrible customer service.

We're sorry to hear you're unhappy with your experience.
As the software provider, we take data protection and GDPR responsibilities seriously. For security reasons, we cannot grant or restore access to pupil accounts based on a direct request from a pupil.
Our business relationship is with the driving instructor, who is the account holder and manages their pupils' access. This is why our support team correctly advised you to contact your instructor, who can assist with restoring access.
We appreciate this may be frustrating, but these procedures are in place to protect users' personal information, not to make things difficult.
Our support team is always happy to help with technical issues, but we must operate within the appropriate security and data protection procedures.

Whilst my instructors for Total Drive…
Whilst my instructors for Total Drive were great, couldn't have asked for better, Total Drive as whole are not.
I paid up front for 10hrs of lessons, due to undiagnosed hypermobility, I had 2 separate dislocations back to back with the second one being severe. To which I had to cancel the rest of my lessons. This was roughly A YEAR AGO and Total Drive STILL HAVE NOT REFUNDED ME what is owed. They have ignored messages and calls.
Do not trust this company.

We're sorry to hear about your experience and the circumstances that led to you having to cancel your driving lessons. We hope you're recovering well.
However, we would like to clarify an important misunderstanding. Total Drive is a software platform used by independent driving instructors to manage their businesses, lessons and pupil bookings. **We are not a driving school and do not employ driving instructors.**
When pupils pay for lessons through the Total Drive app, the money goes directly to their driving instructor, not to Total Drive. We do not receive or hold these lesson payments, so unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds for them.
Any outstanding lesson payments or refund requests must therefore be dealt with directly by the driving instructor, as they are the person who received and holds the funds.
We understand how frustrating this situation must be, particularly given the length of time involved. However, Total Drive simply provides the software connecting pupils with their instructors and has no control over the instructor's funds or refund decisions.
We hope this helps clarify our role and why Total Drive is unable to process your refund.
GDPR Breech and unauthorised use of my bank card
Used total drive for a few years and it does the job but when I wanted to cancel they refused to give me the data they hold about me and my pupils in an accessible Format (which is a GDPR breech) and then continued to take money from me despite multiple requests to cancel and attempting to cancel with my bank.

Hi Joe, after reviewing all cancellation requests submitted over the past 12 months, we have no record of a driving instructor or driving school under the name “Joe” completing our cancellation form. Total Drive provides a driving app and software to independent instructors and driving schools. As a franchisee of a driving school you should directly contact the driving school.
Total Drive provides access to pupil transaction records, including full names and payment details these records are available to view and export as required. This is particularly important in relation to Making Tax Digital requirements.
Simply the best For ADI s
This app is simply the best for Driving Instructors and pupils.
No more paper or Diary, any suggestions are welcome to improve the app.

Total Drive Diary App.
I have been using the Total Drive app for the last 5 years and as a driving instructor it is invaluable for my day to day running of my business. Everything is in one place and at the end of the year, my income and expenditure is all worked out ready for my self assessment tax return.

Excellent App!
I don’t know how I ran my Driving School without this app. It saves me so much time, all details for every pupil are easily accessed, and I can make the app my own - no strict parameters/wording! The team are always on hand, and any queries are answered quickly. The team also readily accept any suggestions to make the app better, and it’s regularly updated to reflect these improvements. Great communication from the team too!

Total drive is a great diary, but much more.
The Total Drive app is really easy to use for me and my pupils. It's great not having to have loads of paperwork in the car and we can record our lessons directly on the app, and my pupils to review and add to at home.
For me it's useful as a work diary and personal diary. I can block out areas when I can't work, so I don't book a lesson when I have a personal appointment.
It's good that I can send pupils my terms and conditions through the app, and have a digital record that they have agreed to them when they sign in to the app.
The support team are always really helpful. You can suggest updates to the app and the team will respond and possibly make those changes. Makes it feel like a personal experience.

All in one place
Whether you use the app or pc interface Total drive give exactly what a driving instructor needs all in one place. Students love it as they can see their progress, book and pay for lessons and communicate with me.
Highly recommend it to any new or experienced instructor.
