The idea for Tom's business came from watching his wife Gemma use a plastic mass-produced calligraphy pen which he felt didn't match the quality of her beautiful work. With his background in furniture and product design which he studied at university and his experience of working in a blacksmith's forge, he decided to make her a better pen that she would love using every day.

The Lumos is now my go to pen for all but writing out my bank duplicates. I can't wait to discover other products, and think I will try a fountain pen soon, to supplement my calligraphy pens and tools.

The wren.
I got my wren pen a while ago and thats only pen i use now. Its id brilliant to hold and writing is smooth. Topping ink up is eforfless and no unneeded mess. Another bonus was a delitious tea.

Excellent Pens
I own several of these pens and bought my first lots of refills. Everything I have bought has been of exceptional quality. I really like the minimalism in the packaging of the items, it’s very neat and clear. Everything was packed safely and arrived with no issues.

I've fallen for Tom's Studio pens.
So far I love my pocket pen, studio mini and Lumos, but I'm afraid I won't stop there! Every aspect of the products and customer experience has been just excellent. Unrivaled quality all the way. I am a huge proponent of buy the best quality then you only need to buy it once. Plus, I am so happy to be done with disposable fineliners and brush pens. I treasure tools that inspire me. So glad to have found Tom's Studio.
