The Georgetown Jersey pealed after 2 washes.

The store is great and I found the in store customer service staff excellent. My 13 year old son purchased some clothing and a pair of basketball shoes. When the basketball shoes developed a fault within a week, the customer service response was dissapointing. Initially I went back to the store with the shoes for a replacement. The customer service rep. viewed the issue and agreed it was a fault but said I had to go via customer service online. I did this with multiple emails inluding proof of purchase and photos of the shoes and the issue. The response I finally received from them was that they deemed that the shoes had been used in a way that they were not intended and this had caused 'wear and tear'. They did not provide an explanation of how they derived this conclusion from the photos I sent. The shoes had only ever been used on indoor basketball courts and the issue developed after one week of use. They are pretty much unusable now, 5 weeks after purchase. So, I have now had to lodge a claim with Fair Trading NSW and write this negative review. It's dissapointing because I only wanted the $160 product replaced and was not asking for a refund. This is a shame because I think it is a fantastic store but they did not support me on the warranty claim as I would have expected. Probably won't shop there again now and probably would have reviewed them as 5 star otherwise.

Pretty disappointed of the lack of interest shown to the FIBA played in Sydney in store this weekend and the lack of womens, girls clothing available in store. We flew in from regional nsw to catch the finals with a bunch of very excited 11-12 years who were also looking forward old to visit the store. Would have been nice to see some more emphasis being put on women’s basketball especially during the FIBA womens World Cup playing right here in Sydney this week.

Poor customer service. No phone number to contact at Darlinghurst. Bought Hex knee pad for my daughter. Use once, not even fall off the ground but after washing with wash net the knee pad ripped dont know the reason but poor quality. More likely old stock ao its brittle.

**** Company has finally refunded money after placing this review. Its a shame you have to share a poor experience to get things sorted out******We ordered product from this store and have been waiting since February. The company has apologised and send they would send out the product straight away. This was in early May and now they don't respond to emails or phone calls and have not delivered our order. If you can avoid this company you should.

Throwback went the extra mile and sent my order through by express post as a courtesy gesture to speed up the process.. goods were A1 quality at excellent prices…customer service went above and beyond, thanks throwback, 5 stars for your business..

Will not reply to emails...no contact number provided!! BEWARE...TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN WONT CONTACT OR SEND ITEMS . I spent over $300 ...am taking it to the Fair Trading Commission!! FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!!!

Good honest store stuff is packed very well so worth the higher shipping in my opinion

I been still waiting for my shoes and still not received them it’s been a horrible experience with this website and company. I would never buy shoes again. They don’t even apologize for keeping their customers about the process of when I should receive them and they blame it all on Covid shame on them just ship it Ups the best shipping company in the world !

Great app, great jersey

The girl that helped us at the Oxford Street store just had so much energy, and nothing was too much for her. Getting the right sizes, swapping shoes, Suggesting shorts to match the trainers etc etc.

These guys don’t even receive a 1 star rating. I ordered a few jerseys, and all arrived faulty. I contacted customer service with evidence to show, no response after more than a week (almost 10 days). I sent another email, still no response. It’s already more than 2 weeks in total since I got the items and they only have a 2 week returns policy. They don’t even have a phone number to contact, only email. Very dodgy people. Can’t even trust their returns because they don’t even reply to a simple email, what guarantee to do we have that they will refund or exchange when they get the items? Please don’t shop here unless you live right beside these clowns or at a reasonably close location. Otherwise, these clowns take your money and don’t really give a s***. They don’t check their items for faults. One of the jerseys i got actually looked like someone ran a skateboard on it (it wasn’t even in its plastic packaging). They post on their Insta everyday but never see their messages, a robot runs it and leaves you on seen. PLEASE DONT SHOP HERE, ESPECIALLY ONLINE. Please get your items from other more friendly local shops. Absolute scumbags

Terrible customer service.
I was sent the wrong jersey so I emailed and messaged the Instagram to get advice on how to either refund or send it back to get the other jersey. They have left my messages on seen three times now and have not responded to emails. It’s been 4 days since the item was delivered.

Ordered online, wrong item received, contacted via Facebook and was asked to return the item and once proof of returning received they will send out the right item. After 2 weeks of them receiving the returned goods in their hands they cut all communications despite multiple messages sent. We are now disputing transaction with our bank! Such a horrible first time experience with them! Never again!

Ordered two swingman shorts and when it arrived it was the wrong order. Instead I received two jerseys and when I tried to contact them, they apologised and didn’t follow up after that. I kept sending emails to try and work it out but to no response.

A1 service, awesome range of products and swiftly dispatched. Highly recommended.
