Last Minute Flight
I booked a flight very last minute because I missed my other one due to significant train delays. I got nervous that the ticket wouldn't come in time because the flight was leaving early the next morning. I reached out to customer service and after talking w/ the automatic agent, I got a hold of someone. She prioritized booking for me, and shortly thereafter I got the notification that the booking was confirmed. I didn't want to pay the steep prices I was seeing. I'm hoping to use them in the future!

THRIVE TRAVEL cancelled my ticket at the last minute with NO compensation at all
THRIVE TRAVEL cancelled my round-trip ticket in the middle of my trip, when I was trying to get back home, the day before my return flight. I had to cough up an extra $1400 for a last-minute ticket, and got $0.00 back from THRIVE.
THRIVE TRAVEL is by far the worst travel agent I've ever even heard of. DO NOT depend on THRIVE TRAVEL, or send it any money. This is a crooked company!
Please read some of the very bad reviews below. There are dozens from people who also got screwed over by Thrive Travel, and got absolutely nothing (and certainly no valid plane tickets) but frustration in return for their money. I'm sure they're all true, because THRIVE is a total SCAM!
If Thrive really wants to do better, it might try providing what it promises its customers and they pay for, instead of simply screwing them over.

Update: While THRIVE TRAVEL wrote (in response to my review) that it "does not cancel tickets", that is EXACTLY what it did in my case, forcing me to pay much more for another one at the last minute, and not compensating me in ANY way.
My guess is that THRIVE TRAVEL managed to either sell my ticket to someone else, or get it refunded by the airline without bothering to refund me. In any case, THRIVE TRAVEL cheated me out of a lot of money.
Please read some of the many one star reviews below before trusting THRIVE TRAVEL. Had I done so, i would have saved a lot of money and avoided a great deal of frustration, stress and added cost having to buy a last minute ticket.
DO NOT TRUST THRIVE TRAVEL ! I truly regret doing so. That was an expensive mistake that I will never repeat.
If you don't believe me, have a look at the dozens of other negative reviews of THRIVE TRAVEL. Just seach for one star reviews, and you'll see dozens of people have had the same awful experience with THRIVE TRAVEL.

Lacking proper customer support
Customer support is a bit lacking. Response times are hours if not days to respond. The cost you might save up front is not worth the time and could end up costing more as flight costs can increase by the day. When making changes through a booking agent I would expect to call or email and get a quick answer.
Booking process and limitations were also not as upfront as well.

I purchased SWISS flights from Milan to San Francisco through KAYAK using Thrive Travel's booking services. After an initial issue with my reservation, Zach Colmenares, Senior Manager at Thrive Travel, personally reached out to me and provided exceptional, attentive service to resolve the problem.
I was genuinely blown away by the level of care, professionalism, and personalized attention I received. Zach went above and beyond to address my concerns and restore my confidence. I came away feeling completely satisfied with the experience and confident in using Thrive Travel's booking services again.
