This is a fraud compant. First they trap you then delay ticket and keep you in limbo. Do not trust and buy from them. BEWARE!!

Well I had very high hopes for Thrive. However, after completing the booking section, entering my credit card, and hitting “Book”, I received emails about booking on weekends, delays, etc. Even with that being said, I’ll probably try again with more lead time, and not on a weekend. I was expecting to enter my credit card, hit the “book flight” button and within a few minutes, maybe up to 2 hours, have a conf #. That was definitely not the case, unfortunately.

8/6/26--Updating my review based on numerous emails and a conversation with a high-level manager at Thrive. I now understand better how their system works, and feel that the effort made by them to explain the process, take ownership of my issue, and give me a direct contact for future bookings was exceptional. I am booking a future trip to Italy now with Thrive.

I emailed and tried to chat for multiple hours because my ticket wasn’t issued and flight was leaving in a few hours. Not one reply. The 3 hours before the international flight was scheduled to leave my ticket info arrived. The stress could have been easily avoided through communication. Which you offered NONE!

Avoid Thrive Travel at all costs.

This has been one of the worst online booking experiences I've ever had.

I paid for my flight two days before departure and immediately received an email saying my payment had been received, but that my flights were not actually booked yet. Instead, I was told ticketing could take up to 24 hours. That turned into repeated delays, and I still had no airline confirmation number, no e-ticket, and no proof that I actually had a seat on the flight.

To make matters worse, their customer service is nonexistent. They reply once every 12 hours with the same generic template, never answering the actual questions being asked or providing any updates.

Their support phone number doesn't even work, and never does their chat support on their website, leaving email as the only option, where you're lucky to receive one copy-and-paste response per day while your departure date gets closer.

The most frustrating part is that they continued accepting bookings even though their ticketing team wasn't processing reservations until after the weekend. They had the audacity to tell me that they'd "get to it after Shabbat!" WTF are you even talking about?

If you're selling flights that depart within days, you should have staff available to issue tickets promptly or clearly warn customers before taking their money. That's just common sense and a bare minimum of service.

Throughout the process I was repeatedly told to "be patient" while my flight was approaching, but at no point did they provide a ticket, an airline booking reference, or any reassurance beyond vague promises that someone was "working on it." I guarantee no one is working on anything at all.

After reading Reddit, Google Reviews, Trustpilot, and other travel forums, I realized my experience isn't unique. There are countless reports from customers describing delayed ticketing, poor communication, and last-minute stress. I wish I had read those reviews before booking.

If you're thinking about saving a few dollars by booking through Thrive Travel, don't. Book directly with the airline or use a real travel agency. The small savings simply aren't worth wondering whether you'll actually have a ticket when it's time to leave for the airport.

Zero stars if that were possible.

I purchased a plane ticket but never received the issued ticket. Approximately 18 hours after making the purchase, I contacted customer support and was told they would provide an update within 4 hours. However, my flight was scheduled to depart in 12 hours, making the delay critical. After that conversation, I was unable to reach customer support again because every call to their phone number failed. I later received an email stating that the price of my ticket had increased and that I would need to pay additional money before the ticket would be issued. I never received the ticket I originally purchased and believe this was a deceptive business practice.

I'm sure the 'business owner' will reply to my review (as they did with others) and deny the problem and/or state they resolved it, but that's not true. Listen to your gut, don't purchase from this website.

They did a great job and offered the best price I could find for my son’s international flight. The booking process was easy, and I am very satisfied with the service and the value. I would recommend them to others looking for affordable airfare.

They have great rates, but I didn't get the actual ticket until 3 hours before my flight. I did have good customer service when I called in.
