When I found that the Pope was visiting and that would prohibit entry I was told:
1. The booking date cannot be changed.
2.There is no condition on which a refund will be issued.
My wife had booked with another company who contacted her and asked her to select another time.

¡CUIDADO! Cobros abusivos y entradas que nunca recibes
uestra experiencia con esta agencia para un grupo de 6 personas (niños y mayores) ha sido un desastre absoluto.
Panteón: Nos cobraron 90€ por unas entradas que oficialmente cuestan 5€ (niños gratis). Un sobrecoste de 70€ sin ninguna justificación.
Coliseo (FRAUDE): Pagamos más de 200€ por adelantado y, al llegar el momento, no tenían nuestras entradas. Nos dejaron tirados sin el servicio contratado y sin solución.
Es una práctica vergonzosa aprovecharse así del turista. No se dejen engañar por los supuestos 'gastos de gestión', es una estafa en toda regla. Hemos iniciado la reclamación bancaria y la denuncia ante las autoridades de consumo europeas. ¡EVITAD ESTA AGENCIA!

Scam Company
DO NOT under any circumstances make the same mistake that I did and buy tickets from this company. They are third party sellers. It is a scam. They will take your money then won’t send you the tickets and/or cancel the event 1-3 days before, meaning that you miss out on the event you’ve been looking forward to. If I could track these people down, I would. Unscrupulous, thieves. 😡

Jacqueline, highly recommended private tour guide for the Alhambra Palace
Jacqueline was our tour guide for the private tour to Alhambra palace, Generalife gardens and Alcazaba fortification.
She was very accommodating to our family and kept the pace of the tour easy. She is immensely knowledgable and had answers to all the questions related to history of the palace, the politics and of the wider subject of Muslim Spain.

Run, don’t walk, away from Walker Tours/Feel the City
Update: Thank you for your response, but your explanation does not change the customer experience.
Both the Colosseum and Vatican tours were cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled visits, which left me scrambling during a short trip to Rome. Regardless of whether you describe yourselves as an intermediary, customers book through your company with the expectation that the tours being sold are actually available.
The issue was not simply “changing availability.” The issue was the extremely late notice and the resulting disruption to multiple key parts of my itinerary.
As for St. Peter’s Basilica, I understand that security lines and monument access are outside your control. However, the disorganization of the tour itself and the rude behavior from your check-in staff are absolutely within your control.
This review reflects the reliability, communication, and customer service I personally experienced, and unfortunately I cannot recommend booking with Walker Tours.
Original review: Extremely disappointing experience with Walker Tours. They cancelled both my Colosseum tour and Vatican tour 24 hours before the scheduled time, which left me scrambling at the last minute to find alternatives during an already time-sensitive trip.
Unfortunately, the St. Peter’s Basilica tour was no better. The entire experience was disorganized from the start. We spent nearly three hours waiting in line, and the employee handling check-in was rude and unhelpful.
I would not recommend booking with Walker Tours. The lack of reliability, poor organization, and unprofessional customer service made this a very frustrating experience. Save yourself the stress and book with another company.

Tickets für das Kolosseum in Rom
Die Tickets für das Kolosseum in Rom habe ich im Januar bestellt und bezahlt. Die Tour sollte am 30. März stattfinden. Zwei Tage vorher bekam ich eine Whatsapp, dass keine Tickets verfügbar seien. Automatisierter Chat, dann Anruf aus Amerika erhalten (Firmensitz) wurde sofort aufgelegt, wahrscheinlich Falle um Rückruf zu provizieren. Totaler Reinfall und viel zu teuer. Wir bekamen glücklicherweise noch Tickets über die offizielle App des Kolosseums.

Le doy una porque no puedo darle menos. Reservé con dos meses de antelación con ellos para el Coliseo, foro y palatino con guía personal en español. Me costó carísimo y dos días antes me cancelan el tour, por supuesto sin reembolso. No solo eso si no que me contestan por correo que aunque ellos no devuelven dinero de cancelaciones me dicen que dado el caso si me lo devolverán y para ello tengo que cancelarlo. Cancelo para recibir mi reembolso. Me marean diciendo que sigue activa mi entrada para unas horas antes volver a decirme que yo misma cancelé y que no se me devolverá el dinero.

Ojo, nunca, nunca reservéis con esta compañía, el mismo día de la visita os van a decir que no hay disponibilidad de entradas, en mi caso estando en Roma y listos para salir hacia El Vaticano, luego os dirán que os devuelven el dinero, en mi caso me lo devolvieron pero me quedé sin visitar el Vaticano y sin 150€ menos durante los 4 MESES DE ANTELACIÓN con los que reservé las entradas. Llamé a atención al cliente y, cuando me llegó la factura del teléfono 60€ por la llamada!!!

Less than 1 star. I booked tickets for the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona in Sept 2025 for 6 April 2026 - which is TOMORROW. Arrived in Barcelona today and received an email telling me the tour was cancelled and refunded. Upon calling the customer service number I was told - oh so sorry the Sagrada Familia did not have enough tickets for Walker tours use. Totally a fraud.

Paid booking cancelled close to travel date
Terrible experience with The Walker Tours.
We purchased and paid for tickets in advance on February 14th, 2026, specifically to secure the booking. However, on March 25th, 2026, we were informed that there was no availability, and they cancelled our paid reservation very close to our travel date.
This forced us to look for tickets through another agency, causing a lot of stress and wasted time at a moment when there were almost no options left.
They say they will refund the money, but the inconvenience caused is unacceptable. I do not recommend them.

Not a trustworthy company
Not a trustworthy company! They up charge significantly more for tickets that are free or minimal charge, communication is poor, won’t refund even if they make a mistake or are late, the audio tour app is garbage, have a misleading website that looks like the official museum site and don’t offer anything more for all that money you pay. The Walker Tours es una empresa que ha perfeccionado la estafa, su modus operandi tiene tres elementos, el primero, imitan la página del Vaticano y el cliente cree que se encuentra en un lugar seguro, mientras ellos están supuestamente en Nepal o Indonesia, lo segundo es que cuando llega la fecha de la visita dicen que por temas de oferta y demanda se debe cambiar la fecha o la hora de la visita y el cliente creyendo que es normal, les genera un impulso electrónico en su página que tiene un ambiente falso y que después utilizan para decir que el cliente canceló la visita, lo tercero es que ante las reclamaciones tienen una cantidad de formatos de respuesta, incluso un formato en el que fingen devoluciones de dinero que nunca llegan, estos formatos dan una apariencia de que hay alguien al otro lado y que todo podría tratarse de un malentendido, pero es parte de la estrategia, dilatan con diferentes respuestas pre fabricadas para parecer una empresa seria e incluso son tan cara dura que se ofenden si se les escribe un mensaje como el que se merecen, seguro me van a contestar este mensaje con un templete que diga que van a analizar mi caso, espero que lo hagan para demostrar su estrategia de estafa, en conclusión son profesionales de la estafa.

Do not buy tickets from The Walker Tours
I had a very bad experience with The Walker Tours and would not recommend this company to anyone.
As part of our trip to Rome, on March 11 I purchased Colosseum tickets with arena access and an audio guide for March 24. I received a confirmation email stating that I would receive my tickets 24 hours before the event.
On March 23, I still had not received my tickets, so I contacted customer service via WhatsApp requesting them. Instead of sending the tickets, I received an email saying that there was no availability for the date/time selected in my booking and that I needed to choose an alternative date/time to guarantee my tickets. The email included a link to update the booking, but when I clicked the link, there were no tickets available for any of the dates during our trip.
I then checked their website myself and saw that tickets were actually available for the Colosseum. I contacted customer service again asking why this happened if my booking had been confirmed. They replied that availability for the monument and date selected is limited and that my original time slot could not be confirmed, and that the system then sends a message to change or cancel the booking.
However, I checked their website and all the emails I received from them, and nowhere does it clearly state that tickets are not actually confirmed until the day before. This is very misleading and unacceptable. I did receive a refund, but this completely ruined our schedule and almost ruined our trip.
I strongly advise that no one buys tickets from this company.

We would like to clarify that we operate as an intermediary and work with limited and constantly updated availability, especially for highly demanded monuments such as the Colosseum. In some cases, availability may change even after a booking request has been made, and confirmation is subject to final allocation by the provider.
As indicated prior to purchase and accepted during the booking process, tickets may be delivered up to 24 hours before the visit. When availability for the selected date and time cannot be secured, our system notifies the customer as soon as possible and offers the option to modify or cancel the booking.
We understand how frustrating this situation must have been, particularly when it affected your travel plans, and we truly regret the impact on your experience.
As you mentioned, the refund was processed accordingly when no suitable alternative was available.

Scam
Scam. Beware and stay way clear of this company. Charge for Vatican Museum tickets, St Peter's Basilica tickets, Colloseum and Forum Romanum tickets is three times the price at legitimate Vatican Museum website. Hours booked don't match with real time entry. Horrible experience and painfully overpriced all the way through.
These are gangsters.
