I ordered spiral LED lights and they look great and really make a statement above our kitchen island. I had a few problems with my order (all of my own making!) and the customer service was excellent.

What a great company with a fantastic range of products . I had been looking for reasonably priced vintage looking bulbs that were bayonet fitting. The only problem I had was too many to
choose from. Delivery was quick and customer service was great. Would definitely buy from them again.

I bought 2 rattan island lights with beautiful matching bulbs. They are gorgeous, and I have had lots of compliments. Some rattan style lights I had seen before were flimsy but these are so well made. The unusual bulb sets them off beautifully. Great communications and assistance from this company. Highly recommend

Wonderful company to deal with. Martin was so helpful and went out of his way to make sure I ordered exactly the right chain to hang a very heavy Oka mirror.

Update: Purchased a lightbulb which was supposed to run for 20,000 hours, which is approx 6 hours per day for 9 years. Shamefully it stopped working in less than 9 months!! It did work beautifully for this short time, started to flicker then the glow completely stopped. Have emailed the company twice, they have chosen to ignore my emails sadly. 31/010/24 Have today received replacement bulb, thank you, have changed my rating to reflect this from 1*

Friendly and efficient - great customer service and flexible returns policy.

My whole experience with this company has been fantastic. I needed advice and technical help which was provided in a professional manner. they even checked my on-line order to ensure all the parts I ordered were compatible. Order arrived well packaged and on time. All the items are of a very high quality, so overall I'm delighted.

This company have a fabulous range of creative and stylish bulbs for the home (amongst other lighting type things). Not cheap and as such I had expected on arrival that they would be perfect.

Unfortunately not so (there is a 'but' - read on!) Most had scratches on the glass and as visual eyeline type pieces, really not acceptable. I sent an email as per instructions and followed up with a call as felt it easier to discuss over the phone. I won't lie, I did feel like I was putting them out a bit with my complaint in how they responded including 'it's part of the manufacturing process' type comments (I've not had this problem with other statement type bulbs from elsewhere but who knows how many get rejected with larger retailers maybe?!)

HOWEVER, I stuck with it as these bulbs really are fabulous and really worth the effort. The team offered to have me send them back with a pre-paid postage label and they would cherry pick the best ones out from their warehouse.

I was keeping every set of fingers and toes crossed for a much better outcome as there was one in particular I was desperate to keep.....

They sent them back out at their own cost (after refunding me for ones I decided not to keep) and hey presto - AMAZING BULBS!

What's my point? They get 4/5 stars because their products are really beautiful and despite the slightly awkward CS convos, they pulled it out the bag with their individual checking of the bulbs for me. I really appreciated that!

Don't be afraid to order, it's worth doing and perhaps I just had a really bad luck of the draw or a bad batch - if it happens they will sort it out for you however you need :-) Support this small business, they have a great product!

Great shop. I'm unsure why they don't have better reviews, as they have been trading for a while. We were sceptical, but after our first order was delivered in just 2 days and in perfect condition, we surely will buy again here for other light bulbs in our house.

Thoroughly recommend this company for its efficiency, speed, and providing a quality lamp. I was offered an ex-display model at a discount because the item was out of stock. The refund for the discount was immediate and the lamp was exactly as described. Communication was excellent with questions answered speedily. Very good experience all round.

Not only do the VLC offer a great range, but the customer service is excellent. Items were shipped extra fast to help me out - thank you. I highly recommend these guys and love the quality of the cables I've used. Still more nasty plastic cables to be rid of here, so I'll be back!

What a FABULOUS company!

I called in a panic because the electrician casually mentioned he wouldn’t source the vintage-look cabling he needed for the following day… (cheers for the advance warning!)

… rang the most lovely lady, explained my problem & not only did they have enough meterage in-stock (a minor miracle!) but she very kindly sorted out a whole new speedy-delivery option to arrive before 10am the following day.

I do not recommend buying from this company. I ordered nine 'smoked glass' bulbs but when they arrived the glass looked clear and wasn't coloured at all. There was a very faint tinge and that was it. When I asked to return the bulbs and sent photos they told me they couldn't see what the problem was. I told them the items were not as sold and wanted my money back and I also cancelled my contract with them, which meant by law they had to refund me. They sent me a postage label and I returned the goods but they subtracted the postage both ways, meaning I was £10 out of pocket. I asked for that money several days ago and have not had a reply. I have since bought other bulbs from elsewhere that have smoked glass and they look totally different to the ones from the Vintage Lightbulb Company. I've got photos to show this because the firm questioned me. Avoid them. Their customer service is dire.
