Lovely products and well packaged

I recently ordered from The Vintage Light Company and was very pleased with the items themselves. Everything arrived extremely well packaged, the products were lovely and I was very happy with the quality.

I did initially have an issue getting a response to an enquiry, which prompted me to leave a negative review. The company has since responded and apologised for this, which I appreciate.

Website really easy to use and lots of choice, I emailed with a question and got a quick reply which was great. I couldn’t believe it when I received my order the following day, thanks, I will definitely order again :-)

I have ordered a few things from this company and normally they have been good. I did another order recently and one of the fittings was broken. I emailed their sales email (the address you get on the invoice) , with a photo of the fitting and didn’t hear back. Tried two more emails to that address and one email to that address and also to the contact email on their website. Still nothing. The original email was two weeks ago.

Then I posted a 1 star review here and they got back to me in a couple of hours saying that my emails had gone in a junk folder. They did admit that they should have checked the junk folder and they did post a new fitting, which arrived a couple of days later. Mixed experience. I would probably use them again.

Not only the best quality and best value lighting products and components I have found, but the customer service is second to none.
i reached out on a Friday afternoon, because I'd forgotten an item and was potentially facing an additional postage charge. I was half expecting not to get through but did it anyway. To my absolute delight, Emma got in touch swiftly, recommended the best course of action and then made sure my orders were bundled - all within minutes. I was going to have to find alternatives, but their attentiveness was brilliant, and now I'm going to get the lights and bulb that I really want without having to compromise. THANK YOU!

I ordered some LED Filament bulbs. Royal Mail tracking told me they had been delivered a couple of days later but I hadn’t received them. I spoke with Emma who promised to send replacements immediately. That evening, a neighbour (not even a nearby one) called to say he had our package! So, 3/10 for Royal Mail but a solid 10/10 for The Vintage Light Bulb Company!
And the bulbs are beautiful- just what I wanted.
No hesitation in recommending this company 100%

The service from The Vintage Light Bulb Company was outstanding…..somewhat of a rarity these days!

I order some vintage style wire, which looked beautiful by the way, but it turned out that the light shades already came with the wire, so had to return the item.

A few days later a full refund was provided.

Emma from The Vintage Light Bulb Company sent an email to say that the refund was being processed.

The Vintage Light Bulb Company. What a Company. The absolute best service ever experienced by me, in any retail environment in any country. Utterly outstanding in all regards. Availability to help, the immediacy of service, the light bulbs themselves, and (my colleagues commented too) the care in packaging to ensure a light bulb with it's inherent fragility arrived in superb shape. If I had a company of my own I would want it to try and reach this bar. Superb and thank you.

Absolutely amazing - fantastic customer service, great that you can call to speak to them and the product wow - I have been searching for ages for the right lighting in my living room and the Stiffkey rattan ceiling pendant is absolutely stunning. Love my new Pendant light. I was really struggling to find a rattan shade and pendant that I liked. But the one I ordered from this company was perfect. Also loved how I could order a bulb paired with the shade. As I wouldn't have thought of ordering a globe bulb. But it looks great :) Also love that I could have swapped the cord design if I'd wanted.

This family run business based in Scotland never ceases to amaze me with the quality of products and customer attentive service. They deliver promptly and communication is immediate, friendly and thoughtful. Customer satisfaction is obviously a priority and their bulbs are works of art!

Second, order and experience was great ( I bought, bulbs and brass light fixtures. Very happy with both I am skeptics of the safety as there are non of the usual safety marks on anything in the box
