Designed to be kinder to the environment, all our watches and straps are handmade from recycled natural wood furniture and are vegan. We plant 10 trees and offset 250kg of carbon with every order, whilst also rescuing 20 plastic bottles from the ocean. Why not buy Mother Nature some time? The Sustainable Watch Company is born from a desire to save our planet. Whilst we are only small, we have big dreams! We aim to be a heavily climate positive business. This will see us removing significantly more carbon from the environment than we produce through our operations. Helping reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses in our atmosphere. Whilst we can't do it alone, we definitely can't do it without you, so thank you for shopping small! Our pledge to you is to forever play our part in slowing climate change, building a business with a focus on environmental impact and not solely profit.

Both watches (!!) are Great
Both watches (!!) are as described and look great. Arrived in neat presentation boxes, complete with tools for adjusting straps. The Rowan in particular we think looks very smart. Very swift dispatch and delivery, all for a very reasonable price. Birthday boy is very happy!

Sustainable fashion…
Im all about sustainability and what better way to showcase that than rocking sustainable fashion!
Pretty simple process. I struggled with the sizing of the watch though. It was way too big and some of the links broke, even after watching the YouTube. Luckily, my husband stepped in and managed to link it perfectly back together.
It looks amazing in, already thinking of ordering one for my mum on Mother’s Day.

The loveliest watch ever
The loveliest watch ever! I got it for Christmas for my husband and he absolutely loves it. It came with a kit to adjust the strap and my husband easily made the adjustment himself. He’s been wearing it for over a month now and the wood looks so beautiful, lovely and smooth … Very well made and sturdy … Would buy again.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

A Lovely Item
The wrist watch I ordered was beautifully packaged and it arrived on time. I have tiny wrists and I ordered the The Willow which fits perfectly. I can wear it with any type of clothing both Asian and English clothes. It's light weight as well.

Beautiful watch
Beautiful watch, quickly delivered in time for my daughter's birthday. Had a problem with the video to shorten the strap ( wrong video given), this was sorted very quickly using their 'live chat' function. Thank you

Misleading pictures for product
I love the idea of sustainable wooden watches and support their cause. I ordered the Willow because it looked like a lovely colour that would be subtle. However, when it arrived it was green. I understand that each one is unique, so I asked if they had any non-green ones instead. They replied saying they would all be green because of the green sandalwood. This was frustrating as it means the picture the website is completely misleading. I sadly sent it back as it wasn't what I was expecting.

Hi Tabitha, as you correctly highlight, each watch is unique, and so is their colour. We hand craft our watches from recycled natural wood furniture and depending on the piece of furniture and the cut of the wood used for every Willow, each model will have a slightly different green colour hue from the Green Sandalwood. This is stated in product descriptions however I’m sorry this wasn’t clear for you from the product images. The uniqueness of every watch is part of what our customers love! Every single timepiece is one of a kind.

I have never been more impressed by the level of communication between a consumer and a business, they alerted me to issues with their supply immediately and they responded immediately to any queries I had. The only reason I am writing this review so late after my purchase is that the watch didn’t fit my abnormally skinny wrist even after taking out all the links I could. However, I have since realised the solution (whittle down the things between the remaining links) and am very happy with my purchase. Great company, great product.
