Wow!
Found this company via Facebook and their stuff looked good, so I contacted them.
I've NEVER had better customer service!
From the speed of responses to help throughout ordering, payment etc, they are exemplary.
They even delivered when I asked them to, due to me being away when I placed the order.
Their customer care lady, Aleisha, ought to be copied by many national companies.
And the final product was just what I wanted.
Highly recommended!

Excellent service from the initial phone call to final delivery. We wanted six screens for installation between the pillars on our new wall. We spoke to Mike and his team and described how we needed the screens to float in the space. They were so helpful and suggested a bespoke fitting design which would allow this. Following a quick turnaround the screens and the fittings have been manufactured and installed and the end result is fantastic and exactly match our requirements. Would highly recommend this company.

I have just received the panel ordered to make a tabletop for a singer, sewing machine frame. I am absolutely delighted and it’s just what I wanted. It is beautifully made, excellent packing and swift delivery and the frame was made specifically to my instructions with a 5 mm thickness, instead of the normal two. The firm obviously take pride in their work and are to be congratulated on their workmanship, customer service and quickness in getting the order out to the customer.
Well done The Steel Company, I highly recommend you

We placed our order for a Corten steel gate in March of this year . It was outside of their standard range in width and so this was a bespoke order , costing £605 . We had assumed that TSG were accomplished in making these gates and there would not be an issue with the width of the gate - that these had been professionally designed and engineered.

5 weeks later , the gate arrived and we were really upset . It was unfinished , flimsy and the fixtures were a range of different finishes ( black handle, silver hinges and screws on a rustic brown
gate ) it didn’t look anything like the images from the website and looked like no care or craftsmanship had been involved in producing it - and yet it had been signed off !

Eventually, Mike ( the director) arranged to have a phone call with my husband ( having told my husband that he wouldn’t deal with me as I had contacted them several times demanding to speak to a manager that could help and was clearly upset )

My husband emailed over images of our new gate and asked Mike , if he would be happy to have these up on his website promoting his work - and he agreed that he wouldn’t and clearly the product was not something he was happy about . The gate was too heavy for the hinges that they came with and it wobbled through lack of any additional support . It was essentially a Corten screen, cut in half and a handle fixed onto it - and yet this was about £400 more than the screen
( which we had previously purchased from them ).

Mike offered a full refund at this stage or he would refund around 65% back and we would change the hinges ( he said that this would be his preference as it would cover his costs if we accepted the latter ). At this point , we thought that we would try to make some adjustments and replace the hinges and accept that the gate was a little unattractive - so we kept it and paid someone to put it in for us . We accepted this offer based upon the gate working once installed , knowing that we would have to make some minor adjustments.

The gate is now in and doesn’t function properly- even replacing the hinges with more robust ones hasn’t made a difference and doesn’t take the weight of the gate . It doesn’t close properly and has dropped on one side because of the lack of structural support for its width . Watching several people try to open it to access our house has been embarrassing as they are not sure how it opens and it wobbles.

My husband wrote again to Mike to update him and provide him with footage of the gate wobbling and the weight baring issues . He said that this had been a really stressful situation and that we now wanted our money back - and the gate to be collected.
Mike ( the director of the company ) has not responded back or made any contact. It’s very questionable when a company ( that has good trust pilot reviews ) decides to just stop communicating with a customer - unable to deal with issues that arise with a product. Does that mean they offer no warranty on their products, if they don’t like a customer raising quality and design issues ?

I would have attached a couple of images to this review, however it appears TSG have disabled that option for reviewers to share their images .

Hope to hear from you soon Mike to address this .

20/08 - had to get my bank involved who after investigating, decided to refund me based upon the evidence that I provided. One of the most stressful retail experiences!

Great company to deal with. Good product all as described; kept well informed as the my order progress. Very pleased with the finished product.

Mike and his team are superb ! , Communication was top notch from start to finish , delivery etc was great ....

Product WOW ! easy to work with and now installed looks superb and my client was delighted with finished item.

The team at Steel Gallery have been fantastic, from start to finish. They have designed me some bespoke panelling for my aesthetics training school and well, what can I say, OVER the moon! The service has been great since day one. I cannot wait to order more bespoke products. Well done and keep up the great work.

I have just received my order of corten custom fence. It looks great! It was well packed and delivered on spec. I would recommend this company.

The Steel Gallery were great to deal with. Incredibly helpful, great quality products and great people.

Excellent product
Excellent after sales service
Good delivery

Brilliant service from start to finish, product was of an outstanding quality and perfect for my garden

Make no mistake, you get quality when you pay for it.

The garden screens are beautifully made in aluminium.

Postage - £8 for two large aluminium 1.8 x .9m across the country - a true bargain

After being let down by another company (Screen with Envy) I ordered from The Steel Gallery and decided to go for aluminium rather than composite fencing as originally ordered with SWE.
I’m so pleased with them. Yes they were more expensive but worth it I think!
They were delivered in the timeframe given and although there was a slight hiccup, it was rectified straight away. As a gesture of goodwill and for any inconvenience they sent me a lovely free piece of wall art
I would definitely recommend them

This company is an absolutely breath of fresh air.
I spent six months arguing with another company about my right to cancel similar bespoke screens for my decking I had ordered but not approved ( some other reviewers may not be comfortable in mentioning them but I have no issues in stating they are are Screen With Envy- avoid at costs !!. If you choose not to believe me have a look at other reviews on Trust Pilot.
I normally do look a reviews before purchasing but like others saw them advertised on Love Your Garden and took that as a commendation.
In the end I was thankful I had paid by credit card and my bank ( thank you NatWest ) to sort out a refund. Whilst I was waiting for an answer from the bank I scoured the web and found the Steel Gallery. I looked at the reviews and decided when I had the the funds to order from them.
All the way through the process Mike has been absolutely fantastic. Given my previous poor experience he answered all my questions and concerns clearly and quickly.
They offer a number of options for the screens ( painted aluminium, corten and stainless steel, however after speaking to Mike about our requirements he offered to produce a polished aluminium option not advertised on his website )
The order arrived a day late ( not the fault of the Steel Gallery) but Mike chased up the delivery on my behalf an gave me the number of the courier if there was any further issues.
The screens arrived well packed on a pallet and could not be more pleased with result. See photos.
Seriously if you are looking for screens either decorative of or practical use like myself use this company as their products and customer service is first class

It was an absolute pleasure dealing with The Steel Gallery, the customer service I received from Aleisha was excellent. All my questions were answered promptly and in a friendly manner and was kept informed of delivery date. Packaging was brilliant and my two panels have brought my garden up to a whole new level. EVERYONE comments on how nice they look. Thank you Steel Gallery, you are amazing 🤩

Excellent service from start to finish. Initial enquiry dealt with promptly, fully and helpfully and not phased at all when I then changed the dimensions of the made-to-order trellis. Trellis arrived when arranged and packaging was first class. Happy with the trellis itself and lots of admiring comments about it already.

Top class service, they delivered exactly what was ordered the the time frame they suggested.
Good stock levels and were honest enough to say if it wasn’t in stock and didn’t just take your money and make you wait 6 months like another very similar supplier.
Highly recommend

My mandala wall art is as described and good quality. Very happy with my purchase.

Dealt with Mike throughout the process as we needed a bespoke Screen made. Very obliging & always very prompt replies. Delivered very quickly & they look FABULOUS ! Had a small technical hitch with one of the spacers so emailed Mike & got a response within 2 hrs, telling me a new spacer was in the post. Brilliant people to deal with. Would HIGHLY recommend.

What a fantastic company to deal with I can’t say enough !
l needed my delivery earlier then stated as my landscape gardener’s we’re starting earlier than originally planned !
I rang Aleisha and she sorted it straight away for me without any complaint she went that extra mile
she is an asset to her company 🙂
